Nectar Frozen Yogurt Lounge

We’ve only gone once, but with frozen yogurt it’s either good or bad for me. Good selection, they provide taster cups, and they have good toppings. The woman working was super friendly! We also got the trivia question right and received 5% off our purchase. Nice seating area, though the chairs squeezed mine and my sister-in-law’s ample hips and we had to trade places with our husbands who were on a bench. Awkwaaaard.

We will drive through any weather to go here if we crave frozen yogurt. Our favorite place!

Love the neighborhood and bright variety of flavors and fresh baked goodies for your yogurt toppings. My husband and I walked in and it was the sweetest sight of kids decorating Halloween cookies! Just shows that nectar stays in touch with the community!

This place is cozy, clean and adorable. When I went, one of their machines was down and flavor choices were pretty limited. They had your standard chocolate and vanilla choices plus a couple of very kid-​centric options. They had a fantastic pineapple whip that kept me very happy being both terrifically tasty and lower in calories. The one thing that prevents a five star review from me is that they do something I’ve never seen another frozen yogurt place do, and I’m not sure how I feel about it. They charge more per ounce with toppings than without. On the one hand, I guess it makes sense that naked yogurt eaters shouldn’t have to subsidize the toppings of others, but on the other hand, I had to pay more per ounce for my whole bowl because of the six mini gummy bears I treated myself to. Those were pricey bears. I guess maybe if I knew ahead of time, instead of finding out at the register, I may have made different choices. How about putting a sign on the sneeze guard of the topping bar?

Staff is always friendly, it’s affordable and they have some pretty rad flavors most of the time. A wide variety so everyone can be happy. And I love that it’s clean place as well.

I am a gluten free, egg free, fro yo fanatic. The service and ambiance here is 5+ stars, but the flavors are not all spectacular. The toppings can’t always mask the fake fruit taste! My favorite lemon was only up once over summer, and the vanilla has recently contained egg. The new GF EF graham cracker flavor saved the fourth star. But why wouldn’t a yogurt shop offer peanut butter cup toppings? We want perfection!

Delicious. Buffet-​style yogurt places are currently a dime a dozen, but the high quality ingredients really make this place stand out. For instance, homemade-​tasting rice krispie treats, small cups of chopped cheesecake, and fresh peach yogurt.

I love this place! They serve coffee and the flavors are always changing. You can even add fro yo to your espresso drink. Mind = Blown. :)
Like other fro-​yo stores they have a punch-​card, so frequent visits are rewarded with discounts. It’s always very clean and has adorable country-​rustic décor. It’s the only fro yo store I’ve been to that offers cone selections in addition to cups, which is an added bonus. If you’re looking for good frozen treats near Multnomah Village this is your place!

This is truly one of the best froyo shops I’ve been to.
The froyo is delicious and they do a great job maintaining a rotation of dynamic flavors.
They have the freshest toppings I’ve experienced. My favorite are the big chunks of actual Oreo cookies (still with some ‘Oreo stuff’ in between), along with their fresh homemade whipping cream you get to scoop onto your froyo, (comes in various flavors depending on the season), as opposed to an aerosol can of ReddiWhip sitting on the counter.
The staff is always friendly and it is simply an inviting little store as opposed to other empty, dreary feeling froyo shops.
Not to mention the location of Multnomah Village is a great place to stroll around and enjoy the dessert.

Some of the best rotating flavors I have found in Portland. Super cool atmosphere, love the repurposed fixtures and décor.

I’m not typically a big yogurt fan I do rather like this place. They have lots of tasty flavors which you can sample and a fair amount of toppings as well including the mango boba which is like mango caviar. I usually stick with simple flavors like coconut or Eurotart then I add some coconut flakes and maybe a little hot caramel or fudge and some almond slivers.
Somehow it feels less brutal than eating a big bowl of ice cream, maybe because it isn’t as heavy or perhaps because I don’t have to get a giant scoop being it is self serve. Now they just need smaller cups for us «I just like a little desert» people who don’t like wasting a large container.
Oh and the staff is super friendly, the atmosphere kind of white and modern but still inviting.

The vanilla is great! Not too sweet, but not tart or bitter.

Customers are allowed to walk up to the dispensers and try flavors. Serve yourself. I could almost fill up on a couple small squirts of Frozen Yogurt and leave. ha.
I like that they allow this and you can combine flavors into the cup, cone, whatever. Add any toppings you want and it’s priced by weight.
A couple friends ventured in here after Multnomah Days for a treat. It wasn’t packed with kids, I navigated the yogurt dispensers with ease and found the cashier to be cheerful. $ 4.21 for a 2/​3rds full cup, two flavors (Cake Batter, Salted Popcorn), one topping.
The first time I came in here a year ago, I was annoyed that their WIFI didn’t work and I was overwhelmed by little ones and finding a place to sit.
Overall, good stuff!

Very cute decoration, fits into the Multanomah Village well. I didn’t see any flavors that had the word «cake» in them which is slightly heartbreaking. The toppings made up for it though. I like the stand of superior toppings which consisted of tiny brownie squares and fresh baked cookies. Lots of fruit for the days when I’m trying to be an angel with my food choices. The bucket of drink choices was a nice up sell because I can’t count how many times I get thirsty at a frozen yogurt shop and have nothing but soda as an option.
Whoever the cute girl is behind the counter is too pretty to be here though.

Lovely frozen yogurt place on Multnomah Village. The compost everything (a major plus!) and they even have non-​dairy options.

Loved this little spot… few things… delicious variety of frozen yogurts, soft serve and sorbet. My personal favs are the pomegranate/​raspberry, eurotart and pistachio.
The toppings were fresh fruit and candy so cutesy and colorful it will bring out the kid in you.
Our servings were stuffed full and we called out spending under $ 8 not bad considering what you would pay at Red Mango and Pinkberry.

Friendly staff, clean environment and a compost bin make this place a five-​star joint. They also have good selection of unique flavors and toppings.

Tucked away along a string of shops, this little yogurt shop was as charming as they come. The interior reminded me of farmer chic if that’s even a plausible description!
This is your traditional self serve yogurt shop. I liked their unique flavors like corn and vanilla latte. I love when places are willing to experiment.
What was even better was the add on ingredients available. The pies and little cakes were unique and the freshly baked cookies were a nice touch!
Instead of traditional white chairs with café sized tables, most of the furniture in this place was older furniture refurbished and redesigned so that each piece had its own unique flair. There are children’s’ board games and little activities so that families can make a night of it and hang out here after dinner. That’s what made this place different than the rest. The kitsch furniture and welcoming family atmosphere. The final touch was the heart warming desserts that accompanied the variety of yogurts. Definitely a fun little find!

So excited to have this excellent addition to the great Multnomah Village.
I work in the Village and was informed months ago that Birdies gift shop would be closing and would be replaced by a yogurt place. Bizarre, eh?!
This place is AMAZING. The building has been gutted and completely redone. The windows are huge and let in a crazy amount of light! The décor looks to be right out of Pottery Barn. The tables are all dark shiny wood. The lights dangling from the ceiling are encased in glass jars. There are attractive comfy pillows to rest against. There is even an assortment of glossy trash magazines to gander at. I LOVE trash magazines. There are even board games to play and pass the time. Homey little plants are scattered about as well!
These people seem to really want you to HANG out!!!
Well, no problem there!!! My co –workers and I have all been there twice now. Super nice is that if you check in with your mobile app, you get a dollar off your yogurt!
The most important part, the YOGURT, is so super yummy!!! I got the pumpkin swirled with cheesecake!!! mmmmmm good. I was a little gluttonous and swirled mine quite high!
Sadly they do not have domed lids. I had to scarf the dome down before I left. I eat really slow.
So happy to have this place near by. I’m hoping they make good lattes, cause I would love to sit there all night and read a book.
