Operation Wings

Freaking delicious wings, and they are made without gluten – yes, even the breaded ones are gluten free*. Hallelujah! We had the honey bourbon ones and they were great. Meaty and moist and delicious, they went great with a cider from the pod bar.
* (The oil is shared with glutinous items, like the chicken waffle bites, so if you’re sensitive to shared oil these are sadly off limits.)

Wings 12 ways. I had the Jamaican rub. Super hot, but so tasty. $ 7 well spent. Luckily, I live close by as to partake in the other versions of some seriously tasty wings.

I go here quite frequently, and the wings are always great. They make your food when you order it, so expect a little wait (~10 min). I highly recommend the honey bourbon wings and the tator tots. Like many food carts in the area the service is friendly and personal.

Surprised the husband with wings from here & got home to find he had surprised himself with wings and pizza from Pizza Hut. I feel like this photo told the whole story but: got mango habanero, wings are the size of drumsticks, sauce is delicious, service was awesome.
Oh also: chicken waffle bites are strange but wonderful. Chicken dipped in waffle batter, sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar, with maple syrup on the side. Yum.

If you live within 100 miles of this place you have got to try them out. I’ve eaten a flock of wings in my day, and this Operation serves the best. They start with notably better chicken forelimbs doused in a full range of sauces. Go for mild or wild, traditional or unique. The Mango Habanero is phenomenal, but the Honey Bourbon BBQ is uniquely delicious, as is the Secret Sesame. I live in Eugene, and when I am craving wings I point it North and fly to Operation Wings.

Operation Wings were so good! We had the buffalo with blue cheese, which were just spicy enough; the habanero hot wings that didn’t disappoint, the chicken waffle bites that were AMAZING and a side of tots. The chicken fell off the bone, and were coated in their sauces perfectly with a great crunch to the skin. The owners were the friendliest and the service was quick! We will definitely be back! There were so many great choices and I want to try everything.

Stopped by on a sunny Saturday and got the Honey Bourbon Wings. Oy, they were clearly the best wings I’ve had. First, the meat was plentiful unlike most other places. Secondly they were lovely crispy. And the sauce was wonderful. Nice folk, quick service. I’m certain we’ll be out again.

When I went, the individual manning the cart was friendly. I asked about what was spicy in the attempt to avoid spicy foods and the person told me of the terryaki wings. I had their terryaki wings, tater tots and a Coke. Appropriately, I was given lots of napkins and the meal was ready only about five minutes later.
The wings were nice and crispy, being not in any way spicy. Their crunch was good and the sauce fit well with the meat. The meat’s quality was nice and the overall flavor worked very well. The side of tater tots wasn’t exciting, but here they do have things like chicken fried in waffle batter.
Lots of places make wings but, here they do it with skill and the taste has the dividends of it. This was $ 6 for a small, but the taste somewhat substantiated it. It also fit the fall of the bone criteria for wings.
Operation Wings fulfills a wing of your culinary desire.

I went to the new Operation Wings cart at the Foster pod today, and I have to say that they are my new favorite. Better than Fire On The Mountain sauce wise and wing size wise! I’ll be back for sure.

Great wings. The Mango Habanero wings were on point. Very nice cuts of plentiful white chicken. Plenty of sauce on the wings as well. I picked the perfect sauce being actually hot with a kick of mango to cool it down. It was awesome having them in hand & ready for home after 10 – 15 minutes. Forget about these 2+hour waits around town. Too much good food everywhere for that nonsense. The winner of the show had to be the twice baked potatoe with melted cheese & bacon on top. Must try this if you are stopping by. Beware it is huge! Also, very nice man working, assuming he was the owner. He is doing good things here. Only negative is I would have expected some celery or something with the wings, maybe they were just out? Other than that & the prices being just a little teeny bit too high this place is definitely on the right path.

This food cart is so awesome! I’ve only been twice so far but there wings are absolutely worth trying out. The staff is wonderful and you’re able to taste the sauces before ordering to see what you’d like best. I know I’ll definitely be going back for more!

The staff was very friendly and attentive. Besides that, the wings were good but nothing to write home about. I got the buffalo and sesame sauce and the sauce was ok but nothing stood out about the taste. Fire on the Mountain or even Wingstop is better any day of the week.
