A must try in Portland. Decadent doughnuts… Both savory and sweet. They’re pretty attractive, but big-portioned, so go with a group so that you can try many different kinds. Voodoo doughnuts do not hold back on the taste. It’s a full on experience!

Love that I don’t have to wait in a huge line like the one in Portland. Come early as they sell out of their popular donuts fast. Apple fritter is a must!

I love the fact that it parked itself in Pdx’s Living Room both on Wed and Thurs– both times, zero line. $ 1 for that scrumptious bite of vanilla sprinkles. I knew my foodie fun was gonna start off with a bang. Enjoyed the gnaw on the way to check-in up the street at the Hilton. CASHONLY

They have donuts. They’re delicious. They have a super selection and their signature pink boxes. It helps that good looking people run their cart from time to time. Get you some. I recommend the maple bacon bar.

The donuts here are awesome. And the service I received here was over and above what I expected. I’m in a wheelchair, so I guess you could say o need a little more help then the average person. Anyway what I’m trying to tell you is. A fantastic place to come to. I will recommend this place to all my family and friends.

I’m a little sad about the low rating on Unilocal, they must have stepped up because I actually had a pleasant experience. The guy was friendly, and probably wanted to go home(it was a chilly artic wind kinda night) but he happily sold me one of the last and oh so famous Voodoo«zombie» donuts. I honestly don’t think these donuts are ever sold stale, it’s Portland novelty, and people expect a lot out of it, so probably figure they’re getting a hot fresh doughnut– though I am sure there are some lucky folks who do experience that pleasure. Point is, the poor guy can’t be turning donuts out of his ass all day. Your doughnut isn’t stale, it’s just not fresh. Back to MY damn doughnut. It was amazing. I enjoyed the raspberry brain filling, the chocolate frosting– all of it:) See ya next time!

Got there about 20 minutes after they opened. No wait and the donuts were fresh and amazing. The staff was also friendly and chatty.

Was curious since I’ve heard so much about their donuts. Pretty good. However, I think donuts are similar wherever you go except for Krispy Kreme donuts… too much sugar.

The workers were nice and the cart was pretty busy, but I was not impressed with my stale Voodoo Doll donut. We wanted something sweet to finish off our meals from other carts, and even my husband(who can stomach pretty much anything) couldn’t finish this crappy donut. Annnnd, now I’m sad.

Typically I’m a huge fan of most doughnuts. I have even been a fan of these doughnuts. But my doughnut purchase yesterday left me with a bad taste in my mouth — literally. We arrived at the cart during a shift change. There were very few doughnuts available, and the ones that were available were horribly stale!!! We brought them straight home to eat. Upon the first bite, I knew these were not fresh. All three of my cake doughnuts tasted as if they had been made the day before. If I had gone to a «normal» doughnut shop I may expect that, but not when you are paying nearly $ 5 per doughnut!!! Mobile or stationary, the doughnuts should be fresh. I think I’m officially over it. Krispy Kreame, here we come. Such a disappointment from a place that I used to love.

I’m pretty done with the horrendously bad service at Voodoo doughnuts. I just pent $ 8 for 3 doughnuts(that I’m pretty sure are not fresh!) thrown together(as in on top of each other) in a frosting slathered box. When I asked them to wet a napkin for me to wipe the box down I was told they couldn’t do that. When I pushed it they finally gave me one, as if I was asking for something outrageously annoying. There were NO other customers present. I used to pick up large orders for events(part of my job) and I stopped because of how terrible they have been to deal with on a regular basis. Now even my out if town guests are on their own if they want Voodoo doughnuts. This place is FINALLY on my black list after several years of trying to support them.

This is my favorite voodoo doughnut shop. Typical voodoo. Doughnut staff, cool friendly doughnut lovers. The Portland cream is amazing ! As are all of the doughnuts. I hope Voodoo Doughnuts is around forever and doesn’t change

While the line is always super long and you sometimes have to wait in the rain(it’s Oregon, what do you expect), this is one of my favorite places. The donuts are DELICIOUS, they’re funny, and they’re fairly cheap. It’s a very trendy, Portland-type place to go and it fits in so well here in our city. It’s not really the type of place you want to bring your grandma though; I made that mistake once. It’s not a place for the faint of heart!

The doughnuts available at the cart are pretty good. There is not the same full selection here as what you will find at one of the actual stone Voodoo bakeries though so keep that in mind! I have stopped here a couple different times to just satisfy my sweet tooth and not been disappointed. And I definitely prefer them over Krispy Cream! I did however notice, after visiting the store in downtown Portland, that prices at the cart are slightly higher. Not by much maybe .50 cents per doughnut but still a higher price than the actual building location. Sign on the cart says they can sell/run out of some doughnuts so be sure to get there early if you are craving something and hoping that they have it on them that day. The cart is cash only! So it’s not worth a trip here if it’s out of your way but if you are in the area or a local it’s worth the stop for some pink box goodness!

It’s a voodoo doughnut, so it’s a decent doughnut. However, this location is hardly ever open and when it is, it’s out of all the good kinds. Don’t make a special trip to cartlandia for this, you will likely be disappointed. If you do happen to successfully acquire a bacon maple from this joint, consider yourself lucky!

It’s happened. A voodoo doughnut cart in SE Portland. If this gets out, tourists will be flocking in droves to Cartlandia, making my lunch a little delayed by traffic, but likely more interesting for people watching. I feel like that’s a fairly good trade off, and I assume more people will be bringing doughnuts into work, adding to my calorie consumption(well, IF they bring an Oreo doughnut which is the only one I like so far) Power of the Voodoo-who do? You do! And now I want to watch Labrynth. And just kind of-eat a doughnut.
