I had the chicken gyro. Hot food, fresh veggies, and great tasting. Friendly staff and fast service. A few customers here and there, so it’s not crowded. Lots of other options including vegetarian and desserts.

Their chicken salads is beautiful greatness in your mouth! Oh my goodness I could eat one everyday for the rest of my life! Still to this day best salad I’ve ever had. I always come here for it and i have someone stop by and pick one up if they are in the area.

I periodically find myself around Mall 205 because of errands and, on occasion, because my dentist is also in this general area. I used to find myself in this area more often because both Acapulco’s Mexican Restaurant(read: lunch buffet) and Bally’s Total Fitness used to be open businesses in this vicinity as well. Ozzie’s Deli and Gyros is located inside Mall 205, in very close proximity to the interior mall entry to The Home Depot. This review for Ozzie’s is much easier to do by assigning stars: 1. Their gyros are very good and they will customize them for you, in my case omitting the onions … the gyro meat, tzatziki sauce, and tomatoes come together nicely 2. The prices are very fair 3. The owners and employees are amiable people who are happy to see you 4. One doesn’t have to wait until the once-a-year Greek Festival to enjoy a succulent gyro at a reasonable price(note that they also have a super sized gyro) 5. Half a star for being given a very good reason to actually wander into Mall 205, with this place being both a hidden gem and my favorite merchant in this funky mall. That rounds up to 5 stars for Ozzie’s Deli and Gyros in Mall 205.

Pretty good sandwich but it wasn’t made exactly as I ordered it. Location was hard to find and is located in a very cold part of the mall compared to how warm it was in other parts of the mall that I visited. Other than that, the service was friendly and my food came out quickly!

Love this place! Delicious, small, hidden at Mall 205. Owned by a sweet family, and the lamb is delicious. Nothing extremely special but they deliver a great Gyro.

I absolutely adore this place. Easily the best lamb gyros in SE Portland. They also make some fierce baklava. The owners are friendly and welcoming, and its always a delight going there. It’s really no wonder they’re still doing so well in an otherwise mostly abandoned mall. Great place overall. 5⁄5 stars.

This place is a true hidden gem. And I do mean HIDDEN. Went to Home Depot about a week and a half ago and saw a tiny sign advertising this place somewhere around one of the parking lot entrances. If I had not gotten on Unilocal to find recent reviews I would have thought this place no longer existed. If you’re walking in the main mall entrance stay to the left and you’ll finally get there. My guess is that they have plenty of loyal fans because mall traffic over here is basically non-existent. Really good prices. REALLYGOODFOOD! Ordered by number and saw the sign that said housemade side salads. Ordered the macaroni salad thinking«yeah right. bring on the Resers.» OMG better-than-mom’s macaroni salad. DELICIOUS. Yummy gyro too and plenty large. I can’t imagine what the super gyro would look like. Going back today to get another gyro and as large of a bucket I can of that macaroni salad in hopes that some of it will make it back home. Probably going to try the potato salad and/or one of their soups as well. What? Open now and it’s only 9:30am? Later!!!

My husband and I wanted to grab a snack so we shared a regular lamb gyro after reading the reviews and boy was it a generous portion! Can’t imagine what the Super Gyro is like! The ingredients were fresh and the taste was on point! Very flavorful and I liked the fact that it wasn’t slathered with so much Tzatziki sauce that you can’t enjoy the other goodies in the gyro. If we’re back in Mall 205 and hungry, I would definitely go back.

One of the best gyros I have ever had in my entire life. AND… they make a Super Gyro just in case you need more food than what is traditionally in a gyro. I’m talking meat falling off the pita, what certainly tastes like fresh tomatoes and onions, the whole deal. I’m mostly reviewing this to bring awareness to it, as they are hidden away in Mall 205 and I wouldn’t know they were there if I didn’t shop at Target and go to the gym next door every couple of days. Give these guys a try if you are in the area; you won’t regret it.

My goodness the super gyro is huge. It’s filled to the top. Nice big chunks of feta cheese. They also have a handful of peperoncinio at the top. I really loved it. The daughters are very nice and smile. I think mom could learn from their great hospitality.

It’s been so long since I was last able to stop in here. So glad I did! Just as great as always. The majadra is now available as a salad plate. Try it, it’s wonderful! Go inside Mall 205, it’s SO worth it.

Best Gyro I have every had! You might not know this place is here, it is hidden inside Mall 205 right by The Home Depot, but the next time you are in or around Mall 205, go in and grab one of these amazing Gyros! They are huge for the price, a great value! They are packed full of delicious Lamb meat and tasty Tatziki sauce! YUMM! 5 Stars!

The owners have been doing this for over 35yrs. And you can tell in the food and attitude. We will be coming back very soon, gyros are bomb and I added falafel to it.

Ozzies is the lone standing deli on the near abandoned end of Mall 205. They are a Mom and Pop Greek style deli who seem to be the nucleus of the various Mall 205 employees. They offer fresh and tasty breakfast/lunch options as well as delicious homemade treats. They are friendly, sweet, and accommodating.

Yes, it’s tucked into a corner of a mall in East Portland, east of I-205. And…yes, they have tasty food and great service and fresh iced tea. I’d had the gyros and falafel before today’s visit. Both good. But the majadras sandwich is wonderful! Lentils and bulgur stuffed into pita with lettuce, some sort of yogurt sauce and tomato. Squirt on some hot sauce to make it extra specially messy… and there you have it, divine food made within the confines of a struggling mall. The lentil soup is very good too. And on Fridays they serve clam chowder(haven’t tried it). Sandwiches run you between $ 6 — $ 8, for substantial portions. I ordered my majadras sandwich as a lunch special which included the fresh iced tea with lemon, total was $ 7.45. Tea-rific! It’s located outside of the Home Depot garden section exit, in the interior of the mall(AKA the belly of the beast). Target, Performance Bicycles and Bed, Bath and Beyond are also in the mall. So get your bike chain greased, pick up some post-consumer recycled toilet paper, grab a(native) potted plant, and then treat yourself to some Ozzie’s grub.

The best Gyros in town! Not only are they consistent but they have impeccable customer service! The Mac and Potatoe Salad is the Bomb! Not to mention the Baklava! YUM! I highly recommend! Delicious!

I go way out of my way to get the AMAZING gyros made here. The gyros are perfectly done. Flavorful and filling. I am never disappointed. The customer service has always been great. The mall is a little disheartening, which is why there is almost never a reason for me to go there except for the gyros. The overly sweet lemonade is delicious if you like sweet drinks!

Pretty simple. A microwave was used heavily for the bread and the meat. The veggies were fresh and I asked and got several pepperoncinis on my gyro. Not the best, but not the worst. I’ve already had one pretty good gyro since living here and it’s right in my neighborhood. This was right in the same mall as my job and it was close for a very pitiful looking mall(Mall 205). So yeah, that’s all I have to say about this place.
