Packasso Grooming & Barbershop

We generally go to Champions, but sometimes find it a bit hard to get in. Having slacked on the back to school haircut appointment, and in a pinch, we decided to give newer, close by Packasso a shot.
We initially made an appt with one person, but were passed off to another barber. My son is seven. We asked for a faux hawk shaped top, with a fade in the back. Very standard, nothing extra or fancy. This took the barber, I am not exaggerating, 1.5 hours of time. You think it might be a masterpiece with that amount of time spent. I am not picky about my son’s hair, but it looked nothing like what we asked for, was uneven and looked absolutely terrible. I mentioned the few things I saw that were off, and he offered to fix it, but my son, who had been sitting there for all that time, refused to sit in the chair for a moment longer. Bad hair cuts happen, I guess, and this guy seemed pretty new, but then he had the nerve to tell me it was a «specialty cut, and therefore the charge was $ 30. That’s 30% more than we are charged by the owner of Champions, who gives an amazing cut every time. I was so shocked, I handed him the money and we left.
Lesson learned, back to Champions we go!

I found Packasso Grooming after looking to get a straight razor cut and shave. Not all barbershops have barbers capable or choose not to use the straight razor. The few other barbershops I called, wanted to charge me $ 60 to shave my head and face. I was charged half the price at Packasso Grooming.
With that said, my barber Herman did a great job on my head and face. I felt very comfortable, despite this being my very straight razor shave. The shop itself is very nice on the inside and looks to be kid friendly. Rather you are getting a straight razor shave or the traditional cut, I recommend Herman and Packasso Grooming & Barbershop for an all around great experience.
I will be returning to Packasso Grooming Barbershop next month.

This was the first haircut that my 5-​year old son was able to sit still for. Great haircut and very reasonable price. We will be back in a month.

This barbershop is bar none the best of the best! Marcus and his staff is so professional! I got right in no waiting. The best of all is when I sat in the barbers chair it reclines and moves around! No more lame barbershop or long lines! This is my home for life! They also take their time! No rush! I will recommend to everyone!
