Super tasty food. Lots of options to choose from. I had the Italian omelette and it was well seasoned and delicious. I would definitely order it again.

We stopped at Paiku because it was chilly while we were at the farmers market and we thought we’d try to revive ourselves with pie(duh). It was the best decision of 2016. The chicken pot pie was flippen delicious, buttery, crusty and perfect, with big chucks of organic chicken imbedded in the filling. SOGOOD!

ok, this review is just for the sipping chocolate. I didn’t try anything else, which could be good, but this was not. I was just in the area, it only cost 2 bucks, so why not? Well, it took over 15 minutes to make, which was the first ‘why not’. The second was that it was served in a small 2oz cup. It was WAY smaller than i expected, but ok. That’s my bad. It’s called ‘sipping chocolate’, I should have expected the adjective wasn’t just there as a cutesy title. But the third issue was that despite how long i waited, the chocolate wasn’t even really melted. It was really clumpy and had to be eaten with a spoon instead of ‘sipped’. Yeah, not really what i was looking for in multiple ways, but whatever. It was 2 bucks.

Tasty food truck serving a awesome organic chicken pot pie. Very well made. Had me wondering how something like a pot pie could come from a food truck. Pot pie also comes with a salad. I also got their triple onion soup, and a homemade Italian soda.

I like to eat healthy even when I am out which makes Paiku a perfect place in the st. John’s the area for lunch. Yes their pies are absolutely delicious especially the Easter pie. However they also make fantastic salads and other breakfast foods that are just as amazing. I have tried to replicate their salad that has mixed greens, shaved carrots, candied sunflower seeds, avocado, and tahini dressing but it’s just not the same. I appreciate that in a food cart pod that I am able to always get something healthy that also is incredibly delicious. Keep doing what you do Paiku, I am a customer for life.

Well-made delicious pies from some really nice people. Tasty buttery fluffy pie crust. Don’t expect a big meal but certainly a satisfying snack. I’m going back for their dessert pies.

So. Much. Nom. I have only tried the sweeter pies, so I am really excited to try the savory next! This food cart is SUPER cute. I love the wood panels, they give off that rustic home feel. I saw they were offering a blueberry, strawberry, rhubarb pie(at first glance, I thought they were separate pies). I asked for two slices and some sipping chocolate, which they were out of, so I may try that another time. We waited several minutes on nearby benches in the beautiful Portland sun. This is such a cool pod, with a laid back vibe– very St. Johns. When our order arrived, there was an extra slice of their chocolate banana pie! Why? Because they didn’t feel the two(pretty decent) slices were big enough– wow! Also, thanks, Paiku! What a way to sell too, because that chocolate pie ended up being my favorite. The pie crusts were out of this world too. You bet we will return!

Love Paiku! It was a great addition to the food cart pod! The food is so fresh and you can leave without feeling guilty for what you just ate. The first time I ordered I was just expecting to get a slice of the veggie pot pie but was pleased to see a nice fresh salad on the side. The dessert pies are also delicious; fruit, chocolate and everything nice!

Love this place! Amazing chicken pot pie, and the people who own the place are total sweethearts. Tip: their business hours are pretty limited, so make sure you check their facebook page before going.

I am barely finished with my chicken pot pie from Paiku but I had to start my review right away, BECAUSEPEOPLENEEDTOKNOW. This was the best, the BEST chicken pot pie I have ever had. The salad was fresh and equally delicious, though I admit to picking off the apple slices. And to top it all off, the gentleman who helped me was SO genuinely pleasant. I’ll be back. Soon. Thank you!

This place rules! The chicken pot pie is fantastic and very well seasoned. The Easter pie is my new favorite. In fact I am about to eat it back-to-back days. A pastry crust with mozzarella, salami, and egg: the flavor combination is truly amazing. I have yet to try the sweet pies but the savory ones are great. Very nice to have them be a part of the St. John’s Cartland. A great addition!

Great savory and sweet pies. Wonderful, flaky crust, even the vegan crust was really good.

I am addicted to this place. I love this cart pod in NoPo but I really can’t bring myself to try anything but Paiku. The crust is buttery and flaky. The pies come with a small salad topped with stawberries and roasted walnuts. If you have not checked it out yet, do it soon! You will not be disappointed.

We live close to the new-ish food truck pod in St Johns and stumbled upon Paiku on the way home from the farmer’s market. The menu looks good — who can pass up on pie? I spied the biscuits and gravy for $ 5 with a couple baked eggs for an extra $ 2. It took about 10 minutes to get my grub. I took it to go and it was still hot when I got it home 10 minutes later. I have to admit, I was pretty disappointed when I opened the container and saw the gravy had no sausage in it. Where I come from, biscuits and gravy always has sausage in it. I decided to take a bite anyway and I’m glad I did. The gravy is probably what they use for their vegetarian or vegan pot pies and it is delicious. The biscuits are really tasty and thick. I was only able to eat one of my two biscuits so I’m getting two meals for $ 7. We plan to go back to Paiku and work our way around their menu!

The chicken pot pie was deliciously fresh with awesome crust. The side green salad had candied nuts, strawberries and a scrumptious vinaigrette. Our biscuits were hearty and smothered in a tasty gravy. Great food pod space that also had Captured by Porches brew, El Nutri Taco, Chowdah, Ché Cafè, Farmfood, The Grind Coffee, and Kruger’s Farm Market!

The cutest family ever owns this cart and makes some delicious pot pies. I had the vegan pot pie and that crust is addictive ! The vegan pot pie was only 4 dollars and it comes with a lovely side salad. My friend had the chicken pot pie($ 5) and he was also very pleased with his plate.

So far I have only sampled two of their dessert pies and have yet to taste the savories. The Blueberry and Apple pies were both amazing! Perfectly flaky yet firm crusts, warmed ever so slightly and served with Vanilla Ice cream. Man… I was a little nervous to try the blueberry as ones I’ve had in the past were WAY too sweet, but it had this perfect level of(lemon?) acidity to balance the sweetness. And the Apple? Best I’ve had that wasn’t homemade by someone’s Grandmother, that’s for sure. The apples still held their texture, just slightly crisp, while giving way to a spoon for easy and clean eating. The flavor was epic. Nuff said. The location is great as there are many food carts, beer, and a covered and heated seating section, but it’s a unique and welcome addition to St Johns as a dessert option. The folks were crazy friendly, which is a first for an opening day in my experience. I think she had the perfect response to a guy who stopped by while I was perusing the menu and said in typical Hipster fashion«I usually go for healthier food.» She responded with a smile and pointed out its comfort food made with real(and I mean REAL) ingredients. Chicken Pot Pie from an actual chicken, real butter etc… I loved it, and the food quality showed! They have vegan and Gluten free options and the majority if their ingredients are Organic. I can’t possibly ask for more, especially from a food cart. I’ll update my review as I sample through their menu. I’m looking forward to working my way through it over the next few weeks. Cheers! PS, since I’m a huge fan of puns, clever names and great food, this is a gift for the owners: Drifting from the farm The taste of summer and light Warms too during the chill

You had me at «vegan pot pie». I was not expecting it to come with a side salad, but it did and it was delicious! Plus it was only $ 4, which blew my mind. I can’t wait to eat this again!
