This Papa Murphy’s is my go to spot for pizza. I continue to be impressed with the niceness and efficiency of the staff here. As a vegetarian I don’t have a ton of options for exotic pizza toppings, but that doesn’t bother me at all. I enjoy the fact that I can have a super hot pizza in the comfort of my own home for a reasonable price. Many times when I place my order I substitute some other topping in place of the tomatoes that come on both of the vegetarian pizza options. The staff never flips out at my request for this. In fact once they accidentally forgot to forego the tomatoes on my pizza. They were so apologetic that they refunded me the entire cost of the pizza. I wasn’t even upset at the tomatoes… I just picked them off my pizza slices. Way to take care of your customers Papa Murphy’s! Placing orders is easy by phone, even easier online. I don’t think I’ve ever had to wait more than 15 minutes for my pizza to be ready. I also love that there is no short supply of discounts available for this place. I don’t remember the last time I had to pay full price for my order. Hot pizza with fresh toppings, great service, and at a great price. Why buy a frozen grocery store pizza ever again?

The service at this location is amazing! Very friendly staff and the management has taken care of this store extremely well. All of the issues I had with their service have disappeared and the pizzas I get are fresh and delicious!

Give them another shot if you haven’t been there in a while. We grab a pizza here every few weeks and the team is always really upbeat, friendly and fast. Yes, the small parking lot is a drawback, but we’re usually in an out in less than 10 minutes and I always appreciate how friendly everybody is and leave smiling. Plus the store is super clean.

What pizza place doesn’t give the option to have onion as a topping?! I don’t want your onion mix, just regular onions, and stop telling me it has always been this way. ITHASN’T! I have ordering just onions from this place for 10+ years. I get just regular onions at every other Papa Murphy’s I order from. Also when I tell you I don’t want onion mix in my pizza DON’T put it on it! My goodness how hard is it to make take out pizza? I’m thinkin’…uh… not very. I absolutely agree with Sarah G. customer service is awful and perhaps I had my pizza made by the same person. The owner should really review this, she was so hasty in making the pizza she was wasting more toppings than were going onto the pizza. Thank goodness there is one on Lombard not too far. I can get just onion and have it made for me attitude free.

Upon pulling into this small and COMPACT parking lot(shared with the fabulous Thai Ginger… see my review(=), I quickly found myself in a pickle. My truck will not be able to squeeze by the little car coming through the lot. So I pulled into the parking lot far enough to be out of the street, then waited for the little car to go by. But it didn’t. It backed up. Looking over, I realized that the SUV in front of me(and slightly to my left) was backing up. About this time my friend and I both noticed that some people sitting in Thai Ginger were admiring my truck and watching the soon-to-be fiasco taking place(we shall call them the Trio). The SUV was having a hard time pulling out of its spot(did I mention this parking lot is COMPACT?), so I pulled forward into the loading zone in front of Thai Ginger, allowing more space for him to back out. By this time I realized the small car had disappeared so I would be next in line for the spot. Score! As the SUV was pulling out(it took them a VERY long time), I noticed another car had come in off the street and was behind me, blocking the sidewalk and my ability to back up. The SUV pulled out, and the little car pulled right into my spot. By this time the Trio was no longer admiring my truck, but instead laughing at my predicament. I was a bit frustrated with the impostor car(as it shall be referred to from here on). As I was pulling through the lot, SUV #2 decided to pull out, so I stopped to wait. Meanwhile, the lady in the impostor car was out of her vehicle, walking around it like a crazy woman, throwing her purse back in, acting confused, and pointing around at God-only-knows-what. She wasn’t upset with me or even addressing me. I don’t’ know what she was doing. It was odd. Anyways, the Trio was still laughing and watching me wait for SUV #2 to pull out. After about a 12 point turn, SUV #2 got out of the spot and I pulled right in. 5 minutes to get into a parking lot with three people making fun of your predicament… I hoped it was worth it. And it was. A few years ago, I swore off Papa Murphy’s because every time I went I either got sick or was sadly disappointed with the quality of pizza. Not anymore. I don’t know if it’s just this particular Papa Murphy’s(because the one I swore off was the one on Lombard), or if it’s just that they’ve gotten a lot better, but I am lovin’ my Murphy. They have this new Chicken Bacon Artichoke DeLITE that is to die for. It’s sooooo good. And only $ 7.99 for a large!!! Chicken, garlic, artichoke, bacon, spinach, all on a thin crust… can someone say«MMMMM!!!»? I can. Even the finicky teens I brought some of this to liked it. The pepperoni is good too. My tummy’s still full. The service was super great. Very friendly, and the place was nice and clean. Don’t forget to say hi to my friend Whitney. She’s a sweetheart and kept us occupied with conversation while we waited for the pizzas. Three pizzas richer, my friend and I walked back out to my truck, praying to God that the lot wouldn’t be so full, and that the Trio was no longer sitting in Thai Ginger, fully prepared for more laughing. As I pulled out of the not-quite-as-full parking lot, I looked over just as one of the Trio noticed we had returned… they started laughing.
