Had a blast celebrating my husband’s Birthday on a Sunday afternoon! Lloyd was a great guide. Will definitely plan to do it again.

Made a weekend trip to Portland and wanted to do a bar tour and Pedalounge looked like the most entertaining option. Super glad I made this choice because we had tons of fun. Lloyd was awesome!!! We went to a variety of bars and breweries that gave us a nice taste of Portland.

Hands down the best bike experience. For the last two years my friends and I have done some sort of brew bike for my birthday. Pedallounge surpasses all other options here in Portland by a thousand miles of awesomeness.
Lloyd, our guide, was a hoot and fantastic. Everyone of my friends said it was the best experience we have had. We are only using pedal lounge from here on out!

We booked a bachelorette party with Lloyd. He was the perfect host. He was funny, accommodating, and really went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. We made four stops and each was unique and wonderful.

I rented the private bike for a work event and it was an absolute blast! Lloyd’s energy and spirit made him an excellent host, he definitely helped make our night one to remember. We’ll definitely do this again in the future and I want to take my own friends on it now.

First time on the Pedalounge and already trying to figure out dates for our next trip. This was the most fun I’ve had in a long time. Lloyd was an amazing, easy going guide with a great sense of humor! He made the experience fun and exciting! Pedaling was not too hard. Bring your tunes and cash for faster payment at the bars. I highly recommend the Pedalounge to all Portlanders or visitors that are looking for a great way to spend time with friends, family, or strangers. Such a great tour! Lloyd is a great guide, and brought us to lots of pubs around Portland. Price does not include drinks, but all of the bars we went to were affordable. There’s a speaker system for people to play music, it’s not terribly hard to pedal, and was just overall enjoyable and hilarious!
The energy brought to this by Lloyd is what really made the tour for my friends and me, I’m definitely going back next time I’m in Portland!

What an incredibly fun way to spend an afternoon. John was extremely easy going and made it enjoyable. I planned my buddy’s bachelor party to start with this, and couldn’t have done better. Every little touch from him accommodating our large group to letting us play gangster rap down the streets of Portland was great. We stopped at 4 stellar breweries that we had him choose for us, but he would have been glad to let us customize the trip more if we knew what we were doing. We all built up a healthy buzz on great beer and even broke the 14 person speed record (I’m sure he made that up to make us feel good). The day ended up with John literally giving the «Lloyd» shirt off his back to a guy in our group named Lloyd. He actually gave his shirt away. Amazing. I will be back to ride again.

When my work said we were doing this, I thought «lame».
Not a month later I brought my own group.
Both times every single person had a blast, laughing their heads off the whole way.
Lloyd is genuine, kind, fun and laid back. He is integral in making this experience awesome.
I knew we’d need food, so I called an order ahead into White Owl Social Club, and that worked really well. We kept to small, independent establishments — Firkin Tavern, High Dive, White Owl (not small) — and it was perfect, though more conservative types might be more comfortable at places like Blitz.
Music is important. Put the partier of the group in charge of bringing the playlist.

located inside and out the back of blitz ladd to load… eleven passengers ready to pedal this massive vehicle on a bar hopping adventure… plenty of suggestions by the guide… granny geared vehicle. easy pedaling, but slow moving… aux connection and speaker for phone music connection… cheers and honking from cars passing… being tourists in portland and having fun… stopping beermongers for $two beer cups, jolly rogers for a dive bar and bite experience, green dragon bistro brewpub for larger/​nicer brew drinking, the firkin tavern for quite local bar feel and back to the blitz ladd… that was a lot of beer… under three hours and roughly $four-​hundred after tip…

Lloyd was the perfect host to our 16 person party on wheels. I haven’t laughed so much in years. People in my party have told me all day today how they woke up still laughing about yesterday’s ride. If you like to drink beer, visit out of the way places, and pedal a bike all at the same time, don’t hesitate to book this. One of the highlights of my time here in Portland without a doubt!
As the person said above. take a cab, trimet, or designate a driver. You will get sloshed.

Sweet baby jeebus, my liver will never be the same. I am no longer of that college age with the indestructible insides that allow me to shotgun adult beverages like a speeding bullet. But one afternoon with John/​Loyd aboard the Pedalounge and I sure gave it my best shot, as did 5 of my closest compadres.
First off the contraption, the actual Pedalounge, is totally badass. Bring some happenin’ party tunes on your phone or iPod, ’cause it’s fully equipped with a stereo system. (I highly recommend Michael Jackson, just sayin’). It seats about 16 I believe, with some lazy f-​ers who don’t actually have to pedal. It’s comfortable and will definitely create a buzz (pardon the pun) as you roll on down the SE Portland streets to some selected destination that can include the Lucky Lab, Bltz, Beer Mongers and/​or Apex. The bartenders all seemed pretty jazzed to see us pony up (but it was relatively slow at 3 p.m. on a Saturday).
So, for two hours we drank quickly (you get about 20 mins at each stop), and pedaled our butts off. John/​Loyd does the driving, so it’s all legal and legit. This was a complete blasty blast, and if you’ve got a group of friends who are in need of some revelry, this is by far one of the most entertaining ways to bond. Cheers!

I can not tell you how much fun the Pedalounge is. It’s a RIOT!!. John (aka. Lloyd!) is the best. He entertains while making sure everyone on the bike is safe and having a great time. If you want to have the best time of your life, book the Pedalounge. I’m definitely going to be riding it again and again!

A ridiculous amount of fun for something legal! Bring friends who love beer, love to laugh, and don’t hesitate to potentially make fools of themselves by clanging the large bell in traffic. A good deal if everyone chips in, pricey if you’re paying solo for a party of some sort – but no matter what, you’ll have a blast!

Back in early March several friends purchased a Living Social deal for the Pedalounge, corralled a crew, and jazzed all of us up in anticipation of good company, great beer, and a quirky activity.
With expectations already running high — Lloyd (our driver) and the Pedalounge not only met, but FAR exceeded them. We had a large group and no one scheduled after us, so we had lots of flexibility and despite several of our group being somewhat discourteous regarding time — Lloyd was accommodating and kind, not to mention buckets of fun!
My biggest fear was safety, but let me tell you: I had none once on the Pedalounge. Drivers gave us wide berth, and most were watching in awe, entertained by the shenanigans… Or maybe by the Michael Jackson blasting from our speakers.
Bring an iPod with hilariously bad (or good music if you’re one of THOSE people who actually cares) pop/​dance music, get some friends together, and have yourself a fantastic time.
Be mindful of the driver, the timing, and be courteous when at the bars. I would hate to see this adventure fall flat — It really should become a Portland institution (as it has become in Amsterdam). While you can drink on the Pedalounges in Amsterdam, you can’t on this one. Yet — speaking from personal experience, I had more fun on this one here in PDX than my excursion in Amsterdam. No joke.
**Quick notes: Save yourself TONS of time and money by bringing cash. Sure, there are ATMS at most bars, but you’ll spend less money, get more beer, and have less stress if you prepare. In addition, please, please, please do not drive home drunk. Get a cab or pick a designated driver. I can’t think of a faster way to encourage the city to shut this operation down than a bunch of drunk drivers hitting the roads after a fun night on the Pedalounge.**

What a fun experience! We had a great time pedaling the lounge, waving at incredulous bystanders, and drinking the tasty beer at our destination pubs. A great activity for a group of friends or as a team building activity. Go Pedalounge!
