DO NOT GO HERE! terrible experience. I walked in and asked how long the wait would be. They said 30 minutes so I went to the post office. Came back and got seated. The woman doing my hair was also coloring another persons hair. The place was dirty and the towels were all stained and nasty looking.
As she got going on my hair she rotated with the other person leaving her hair sitting for far too long. She had trouble picking out a color for me after I said, I just would like the same color I have now. She went on to mix color and get going. Another person walked in who wanted a cut and then she started on her hair. So she had 3 of us going.
There was another woman in the store who worked there but not sure why she wasn’t taking any clients. She just sort of was sitting around. Eventually a 3^rd person came in who worked there and she wasn’t helping this woman either. As she dashed between the 3 of us my hair sat WAY TO LONG with color on it.
I could feel my hair heating up and all I could think was awesome she’s going to fry my hair off. My head started to itch too while this was going on. I said something and she came back to my hair leaving one woman sitting there with half cut hair and another woman with half blow dried hair.
Then another man walked in and she put him on hold too. He was obviously a friend and a regular, but he was just standing there for like 20 minutes with her promising it would just be a few more minutes.
When she went to wash my hair it was uncomfortable and she had a weird plastic thing on my neck that was all scratchy. Wash out wasn’t great. I could still feel goop in my hair. Maybe conditioner? Who knows.
She sat me up and was like ok there you go. Want me to blow dry it? No comb through nothing. I was pretty much like get me out of here. At this point. It was a complete S%$t show. Sorry for my language but I have never been so shocked at service in a salon. My justification was like ok… well it’s cheap. Then I got a $ 70 bill and she asked for a tip. I was like um No.
Should have gone to Rudy’s or Bishops. Way better service, way cooler, way more interesting people working on your head.
Now I have an itchy scalp (never have had this after a color before). So needless to say I thought it would be a quick walk in fix before I head out for the holidays but totally not worth it. Don’t bother with this place.
