Preforma installed and refinished an old gym floor for us of about 1,200 square ft. We choose performa because the owner, Brenda (a very nice lady) was so meticulous about how we get the flooring material to match the humidity of the room where it was being installed. However we were not happy at all with the quality of the installation after the floor started to cup and the putty started coming out. A lot of putty was used to fill many gaps the thickness of a quarter coin. We addressed the cupping issue by adding a humidifier but the empty gaps remained. Also from the beginning there has been a section near the kitchen that clearly has a curve to the floor boards instead of them being installed in a straight line. If you are using recycled materials such as an old gym floor I do not recommend Performa.
