Philip is the first body worker who I felt really connected with my body. From moment he puts his hands on my body I can feel him listening to it’s story and working with it to open me up in ways that no one else has. He is definitely a treat and well worth every penny!

I had to be in Portland for a few days this past summer and was interested in getting some body work done. I stopped at a local co-​op where Philip was giving massages. After hearing others positive feed back I decided it was worth my time to get to line. It was amazing! After that 20 mins I decided to see him again in his office for a mor thorough investment. He was kind, open, listened to me and addressed my needs affectively and professionally. I felt reconnected, self-​aware and re-​aligned. If I live in Portland he’d be my go to!

Phillip is more than an acupuncturist and massage therapist (both of which he’s mastered) he is a spiritual healer. Once he becomes your doctor, he also a friend and an amazing new presence in your life. I went to see him for intense back and shoulder pain from desk work and he was both a spiritual and physical healer for my body and my mind. His hands are very strong and go deep, so be ready of you are sensitive to deep tissue massage.
I would recommend Philip very highly to anyone seeking healing!

I met Philip over two years ago at People’s. I needed a massage after camping across country, and he got me in next day. I’ve been seeing Philip for massage and acupuncture ever since. My health insurance covers massage, but I continue to go to Philip because he works! He’s patient, genuine, caring and uses his knowledge to support my body’s needs as they change over time. I thank you friend and healer!

I have been seeing Philip regularly for about 8 years. He is amazing. I bought my first massage with him at a middle school auction, somehow expecting that the massage therapist would be a woman. As an older, white, lesbian I was surprised to hear a man’s voice on the phone when I called to schedule my massage, and more surprised when I met him face-​to-​face. I am grateful that I was able to get over myself, and have what was the best massage I’d ever had. Philip put me at ease instantly.
He is extremely knowledgeable about many massage modalities, acupuncture and nutrition. My chronic back problems have all but disappeared since I began to see Philip regularly. I leave every session feeling energized, flexible and very, very happy. I cannot recommend him enough!

Magic hands!
I’ve had massage treatments around the world, and without reservation, I can say that Philip is one of the best. His hand and finger strength enable him to coax the most truculent muscles and joints into submission and still be as gentle as required.
I recommend him to all my friends (and sometimes even strangers) who are looking for a skilled and talented massage therapist.

Philip is great. He listens to my concerns and tailors his treatments accordingly, sometimes doing acupuncture or giving nutritional advise, and always giving the most amazing body work. I appreciate a deep massage, and Philip is able to get deep into my muscles to relieve tensions and help restore a good flow of energy in my body. Philip has been in practice for a long time and knows what he’s doing! I have no qualms about recommending him to any of my friends looking for a solid and skilled body worker.
