I love Pizzicato’s food, but that was about the only good thing about my experience. I went in and placed my to-go order, but when I pulled out a gift card to pay with, the cashier started complaining about having to use a gift card. She asked me if I knew how much was on the gift card, I told her, then she spent an obscenely long time to figure it out and remarked, «Wow, the one time I actually look it up, they actually knew how much was on there.» I brushed off the negative comments and went to wait for my food. I then watched her sneeze into her hands and blow her nose, and as much as I mentally willed her to WASHHERHANDS, she didn’t. I watched as a young family with two children ordered their pizza and the cashier got it out of the case with her bare, snot-covered hands. As if that weren’t disgusting enough, she opened and closed the pizza oven WITHHERFOOT. I got my food and calmly let her know that I had noticed some unhygienic things she had done and was met with a half-assed, dismissive, «Sorry.» Needless to say, I won’t be going back to this location; I don’t care to eat sneezed-on, shoe-dirt covered food.

I can’t give a higher thumbs up to these guys. They are terrific, the food is good, and we order here at least weekly. They work hard slinging the pizzas and while you might think it’s odd, I think they deserve to be generously tipped as anyone else. But maybe that’s just me. But I hope not.

This is my favorite pizzicato! The Puttanesca pizza is my favorite! It’s a veggie pizza for the vegetarians out there! The Caesar salad dressing is one of my favorites, but make sure you have gum to chew on after(there’s lots of garlic)! The argula pear is also a good option, but stay away from it if you’re allergic to nuts! They are right in the forest heights shopping center, it’s a small inside, but perfect for takeout!

Stop in here regularly for a Pizza-By-The-Slice. Always good service, always quick food, always amazing taste! Love this place.

This pizza joint has always been my favorite, sense I was attended forest park elementary school. Customer service is very polite and the restaurant is very clean. The smell of pizza coming out of the building makes it impossible to avoid!

We have lived in the neighborhood for nearly 10 years and always been happy with the food and service. Recently, the service has really gone downhill. Food is still good. The staff, especially the manager, is unfriendly and makes smart aleck comments to customers, which is very unprofessional. I seriously hope they can bring back the professionalism that they have previously shown. It’s bad enough to warrant going somewhere else.

It’s a nice little pizza place in the Forest Heights community. I had been to other Pizzicato locations, all of which have been much larger than this one. There is nice out door seating at this one in a quiet neighborhood however. They also a selection of wine and beer available. The pizza I ordered came out really fast and also piping hot. The cashier was super friendly and the server was very friendly to people who came with dogs, offering them a bowl of water on the hot day I went. The lunch specials are a pretty good deal. Beware the outdoor seating around mid day. When the local elementary school lets out, a large influx of children flood the starbucks and surrounding outdoor area so if you are looking for a peaceful place to eat, you might want to consider doing it inside.

Excellent place. The service is outstanding. It’s a smaller location so not much seating, but they have outdoor seating which is nice. Every month they have a speciality pizza, plus there’s always a great selection to choose from. Oh and did I mention that they have gluten free crust available as well? Don’t miss out on their salads. Super yummy! :-)

Their pizza is good(I do prefer Hot Lips). This location is close to home, so it is convenient. They are always pretty busy when Ive been in, and there isnt much room in the lobby. I have seen a few times when peoples orders have been messed up, but it hasnt happened to me

Excellent place. Great service. Uneasy about trying a new slice? They’re more than happy to offer up samples. Friendly, upbeat atmosphere. Can’t beat it! Did I mention it’s organic and local?

Real small location tucked in the hill. We got hungry after house hunting, and this place came up when cruising down the hill. I’ve been in other several locations, so I knew it was going to be good. And it was. The service is great, they had a nice selection of pizzas for being Sunday late afternoon. I was a little disappointed that they didn’t have fountain sodas, but I think they don’t have the space for it. But they do have a big fridge with a lot of drink options.

It’s good pizza. They offer a unique variety of pizza. Sometimes artichokes or butternut squash or prosciutto, etc. Place is small, not great for dining in.

I like this Pizzicato in particular because it’s located in my neighborhood and in the neighborhood«village». It’s convenient, fast, and staff is friendly. I also really like their pizza, although not the prices so much, but I’m willing to fork over a couple of extra dollars for the saved time and drive elsewhere. I also like that they have gluten-free options, although I haven’t tried a whole pizza because of the price. I have tried the hummus with GF flatbread and that was quite good. 4 stars for the pizza and patio, 3 stars for the prices

This is not an exaggeration. Tonight I had the worst pizza in my life from the Forest Heights Pizzicato Gourmet Pizza restaurant. I phoned and ordered a pizza to be delivered and was told it would be 45 minutes. I called back 90 minutes later to find out how soon my pizza was coming, and after waiting about one minute for a reponse, I was told it was on it’s way to my house. It arrived five minutes later. I live one and one-quarter miles from Pizzicato’s with no red lights and only one stop sign between the restaurant and my house. The pizza was room temperature, greasy and soggy. I believe that my pizza was ready in 45 minutes and sat in the store for 45 more minutes until I phoned and asked about it. I ate only one slice and the rest went into the trash.

This was my first visit to this neighborhood eatery(family member recently moved there) and we needed a quick light lunch. This location is a tiny place with just a couple of tables and a window-side counter with bar stools.(If you have a group at a busy time you’ll have do takeout.) You order at the window and take a seat. I was disappointed that the day’s special with butternut squash & chevre was sold out, so settled for the puttanesca which was excellent: Big slice, wonderful thin crust, a light touch with sauce and cheese and ingredients — just what I like in a pizza. My sister enjoyed the turkey panini. I will definitely try again when back for a visit.

Pizzicato is a pretty reliable pizza chain in PDX. I’ve eaten at a number of them and it’s usually pretty satisfactory. We happened to be up in this neighb for reasons Craigslistian and needed a quick, cheap bite. Now, this particular location is in an upper-scale stripmally center. It is located in the end unit of one of the buildings. They must do a lot of delivery or takeout as it really is not designed for sitdown dining. There is a grand total of 1 table, in the corner, right next to the one garbage receptacle. The rest of the seating is bar-type against the window. You can get an idea from this pic: It could hardly be more shoehorned into this space. They don’t have much storage either as there have their soda mixes lining the hallway to the restroom. There is some outside seating as well, but it was 90+ when we came and that kind of heat aint a friend of THIS. There is a moderate selection of slices to choose from. I think there were 6 pies total on our visit. Wife had an intriguing sauceless monthly special which featured heirloom tomatoes and balsamic vinegar. It was passable. I didn’t get moon-eyed over any of the rest so I stuck with pep. The slices, while good, were smaller than what I’ve had at other Pizzicato’s. Not by much but you notice these things when you’re paying $ 3.25 for each slice. I’m thinking they were elementary school cafeteria size. They tasted good, although it seems like about 1⁄3 of the slice is crust. Good thing I like their crust! But I’d rather have more sauce/cheese/topping/crust than solo crust. They served up a big glass of wine for $ 5. Like one of their mini-tumblers. So that’s a bonus. The self-serve water is uniced and unrefrigerated. I try to have water as much as I can when I eat out so not having cold water is a downer, especially on a hot day like it was. Service was adequate; no complaints there. I’m mainly writing this for folks who are expecting a full-size Pizzicato in this location. It’s really not designed to accomodate parties of even moderate size. But, when we needed something cheap, quick and convenient, it did the trick.
