Awesome rental company. Rented a pallet jack and a drop trailer. The staff had us in and out in no time and quickly processed our paperwork on return. Gladly use them again…

Outstanding service and prices. I had a great experience renting from them. Their equipment (rented scaffolding) was in great condition and not missing any parts. Thank you, would rent from them again!

Very unprofessional service. I rented a man lift for the day (which is 24 hours), from Portland Rent All. However the salesman (Oscar) informed me that it had to be back that day, due to it being reserved for the next morning. I told Oscar I’d have it back by closing time (5pm) and he charged me for a 4 hour rental which I though fair since he wouldn’t let me keep it for a full day (24 hours). When I returned the lift the salesman charged me an for the full day. I complained and the salesman got Oscar to address my concerns. Oscar grew angry at my questions and denied charging me the reduced rate until the other salesman left the room at which time he commented the he would have given me the reduced rate if the other salesman hadn’t intervened. I couldn’t believe what he had just told me. If you want to deal with professionals with integrity go elsewhere, otherwise be sure to ask for Oscar.

Do not use unless you know the exact amount of time you need your rental item. If you estimate and it turns out to be less time, they still charge you for the original price and refund you days later, creating problems with your bank account balance. In my case I haven’t be refunded the difference. And I returned it the same day I picked up.

I rented a tandem axle hydraulic drop trailer and I couldn’t be happier with the service and the equipments performance. I was a little concerned that the load I was was hauling might not fit so the guys gave me all of the specs and let me check it out before I needed it to be sure it would fit my needs. They also made sure they would have an alternate trailer for me to use if I needed it. Very solid service and professionalism. Thank you, I will be back.

Probably the worst service I have received in a long time. Rented a pressure washer from them that was being picked up by a contractor who is painting my house. He reserved it and then I called up the next morning and paid for it with my credit card, no problem, all good so far. The pressure washer didn’t work at all and if they’d tested it before issuing it, they would have known that. Took it back and was given another one, a lot of time was wasted but not a huge issue. The next one worked okay, not fabulous but did the job.
2 days later I called up and said I wanted to rent a drum sander, told the guy that someone would be picking it up within the hour and i wanted to pay for it with my credit card over the phone, he said okay but wanted me to call back once the guy got there to pick it up. About an hour later, when my friend was there to pick it up, I get a call back and was told that I couldn’t pay for it over the phone, I’d have to go down there. I explained that I’d done a similar transaction a couple of days before, no problem. He told me that was wrong and shouldn’t have been done and asked who I spoke to, I said, «you Nathan» shocked silence, then stuttering about how it couldn’t have been him but it was him and so we argued back and forth for a couple of minutes with him insisting I come down and me saying I couldn’t I was working and telling him to just look up the last transaction I’d done with them if he couldn’t remember that he’d taken my credit card info over the phone. Finally, realizing that I was talking to someone with half a brain, I just hung up.
Next morning I went to Interstate Rentals and it was like a breath of fresh air in comparison with fabulous customer service and well maintained tools.

2 issues:
#1, I do not want to see your underwear; apparently the guy at the desk is a «sagger.»
#2, rented a bobcat which wouldn’t run once at the jobsite. It took 4 hours to get a mechanic on site, blew our entire day, and the machine had a KNOWN ISSUE. Once he reconnected the kill switch wire, the machine ran fine. This cost my client and i several hundred dollars for the delay (crew on hand for Saturday afternoon excavation work) and meant that I then had to spend my Sunday excavating and busting my hump to finish the work without a crew.
Highly dissatisfied with any rental company that sends out equipment which is known to be broken. Moral of the story? No renting from saggers.
