I have been a loyal customer for 8 years. I ship a lot to Hawaii and always know to use priority mail other wise it is a slow boat to China. In the 8 years that i have been using there service there has been 2 mistakes, the first one with the previous owners who apologized and looked at my shipping history and knew it was their fault ready to reimburse me and do whatever it took to rectify the situation.
With the new owners as of a few years ago they have a very different attitude. The same situation just happened to me and they refused to see that it was their fault. The owner was rude and hung up on me, bad customer service.
I do not advise using their service as they make mistakes with shipping methods customers ask for and then blame the customer.
Mistakes do happen but it in the customer service that makes the situation better and keeps the customer coming back, not with the new owners

I felt financially fleeced and taken advantage of after being charged double for a notary. $ 20 a stamp is outrageous, especially since we were only told the cost after our docs were notarized.
I like supporting small business, but not when they treat the customer so poorly. Take your business elsewhere.

Zero stars. If you need a notary, you will be robbed. They charge double and have a cheater means of doing so. Because you won’t find out until the notary is finished, they’ll have you over a barrel and paying double the cost with no way of retracting the transaction. Do not go here. Plus, the emploee was rude.

David & the crew at Postal Annex are amazing, making seemingly difficult shipments easy. They are fast, thorough and detail-​oriented while also being extremely service-​driven and nice. I can always count on them to just take care of things properly with minimal fuss and with appropriate follow-​through. Thanks David for everything!

Learn something new everyday, a Postal Annex is not held under the same pricing/​costs as federal run USPS. And while it’s not their fault that there pricing is higher (I mean, technically it is BUT it’s not their fault that I didn’t know) it is their fault that the customer service leaves something to be desired.
I had gone to this annex a while ago to ship a printer (wasn’t cheap) but it was easily done and arrived. The guy working was polite if slow. In other words a year ago, this would have been three stars.
Today the girl was lacking in the polite. When I expressed confusion on why shipping something that weighed less than two pounds was seven dollars I was told that it was because there was an electronic device. I asked about flat rate shipping, where she just shook her head and went no.
When I ran into someone on the street and expressed my confusion, they said that’s what happened at Postal Annex, they could set whatever prices they like. Well, oh. Learn something new everyday. But perhaps if the girl at the counter had done more than look at me like I was an idiot and explained why the high cost, I wouldn’t be as frustrated as I am right now.

Sometimes I come up with things to ship or mail just to get a friendly hello from the local Postal Annex people. Makes me sound a little creepy, but these folks are so darn friendly, helpful and efficient that I just can’t help myself.
If they were a bar they would be Cheers, if they were a town they would be Mayberry, if they were in a band they would be the ones shaking the tambourine… yep…that kind of happy!
