food tasted horrible and was not fully cooked all the way. I literally took 2 bites of it and was done because I couldn’t bare with how bad it was. I am not a picky guy but damn I should of went to B-Dubs across the street smh.

Great food and drinks and some of the friendliest staff in Portland.

Called literally ten minutes before we arrived to see how busy the bowling OR karaōke was and was told they were«really slow» and would«only get slower» as the night progressed. We get there at 7pm and was told they were booked up until 10pm and that nothing was available. Totally inexcusable. It was my sisters birthday.

Not bad… good service; had the cilantro wings which were very good. The Korean beef salad was just average. Some of the other salads we ordered were pretty good but not exceptional. My daughter had a burger that looked pretty good. I’ll give this place another try at som point but I was really disappointed with my «Korean beef» salad. It was a salad… it had steak on it… the dressing was ok but the dish wasn’t a Korean anything. It was a steak salad.

Ok, totally go to this place if you want to over spend on food that arrives after an hour of ordering it. We ordered the farmers board which includes bread some spreads and roasted veggies and it took atleast an hour to come out. Our orders of roasted mushrooms and two salads took the same time. Also their carrot and avocado salad is literally just that a bowl of avocado and carrots in a small bowl. The prices are way to high for the portions and the fact that you have to wait for atleast an hour to get your food. The washrooms are clean but kitchen area seemed kind of grungy.

Great place to come to after work. It makes you wonder how this place can be inside a mall because once you walk in, you feel like it’s a different place. Their drink selection is decent and they also have a small bowling ally. Come check it out!

Punchbowl is a carousel of fun. I’m a being that loves a club with lots of different spaces under one roof to suit my shifting mood-of-the-moment, and Punchbowl has that, hands down. There’s a cool modern/nostalgic diner, a lounge area, a big circular bar, and then lots of activity areas: bowling, arcade games, karaōke. The design is modern and artistic. I especially thought that the big lounge area was awesome, very comfortable and with such a spacious open feeling that even when the place got busy there were still places to gather on couches with our group of friends. The bartenders are busy but they energetically and willingly do what makes us happy anyway(muddled fruit and adult milkshakes? Sold!) The food was also creative. I had the special, a shrimp po’boy-So good! And tried the deviled eggs(with bacon jam, tartar sauce and mustard: Yum!). Not your typical«bar food». The whole night was a blast right down to our caterwauling in the thankfully private karaōke room. Did we tip our servers enough for our ear-bending notes and demands? I hope so, the staff was so deserving and cordial all night!

My first visit to Punchbowl Social was a deplorable experience. After making plans to attend with our team from work we were greeted by another guest asking, «Do any of you have some weed?» After politely saying no, we finished our bowling match. As we decided to leave my boss used the restroom. Unfortunately, she left her phone there but was lucky enough to remember before she left the restroom. An employee stepped in the stall before she could say anything. As she came out my boss inquired about the phone. The response was, «No, there was no phone there. I didn’t take anything.(as she opened her pockets)» And she hurriedly rushed out without watching her hands. My boss quickly popped into the stall, but no phone to be seen. After double checking the table, my boss approached the bar and asked for the manager. Low and behold, Miss No Hands Washed emerged. «Are you sure you left it? People leave phones everywhere.» It was only after a persistent conversation that she finally agreed, let’s check the stall again. Miraculously, after only Miss No Hands Washed entered the stall, the phone appeared. Unless you’d like to be solicited for a joint or have the bar manager steal your phone, you should find another place to bowl.

I really don’t know where to start with a review of this place. When I was down in Portland a bit ago, this place was being built. The idea and concept seemed exciting enough for me to come back and check it out when it was complete. I did so… and man this place is a complete waste of space. My buddies and I came by to kill some time here and upon the walk in, we were surprised at how big this place is. You’d want 1000 people in there to make it look full. Instead on a Sunday afternoon there was about 30 people. There are quite a few activities to partake in for entertainment, from a few ping pong tables, corn hole, shuffle board, video games, bowling, darts, billiards, even marbles… yes marbles — that’s how vast this place is, they have to fill it with useless games like marbles. Prices aren’t insane by any means but the quality of games are pretty sad. Pay to play ping pong and cornhole? It’s $ 2 a game to play shuffleboard. Bowling… if you don’t know how to bowl then maybe you’ll have a good time. The lanes aren’t greased at all so you’re forced to bowl straight. The ball weights range from 6 lbs to 12 lbs max. The pins are on some sort of string system so they don’t spin when you knock them down to help with strikes. Arcade games are older and outdated. Drinks are weak and over priced. If you want to throw a large party and need open space then this is a decent spot but sheer size doesn’t make up for lack of actual fun/entertainment.

Cauliflower nachos are the best! Went in for lunch today, instead of the at night, was a different atmosphere, but still so fun and calm. Menu is so fun and different, may have some interesting combinations but you won’t be disappointed in any. Totally take advantage of all the bowling, darts, karaōke, ping pong, and corn hole too. Have to come here if in downtown Portland!

When the menu has a great big smilie face emoji next to only one item that is the item to order! That’s right, I ordered the Serious Grilled Cheese and it was seriously AMAZING! The combination of the cheese and the pear jam was to die for. I ate that entire thing and while my stomach was wishing I had only eaten half my mouth was crazy in love. I also tried a friend’s Mac & Cheese and if you can’t tell — I love cheese — it was awesome too — but I don’t think I could eat a whole bowl. The cocktail I had was also tasty and the wait staff so friendly and prompt. I have no complaints at all!

My first time at PBS, a private event. I had no expectations and wasn’t really sure what was in store. The location is great, especially if you’re a downtown dweller and don’t want to hassle with parking. Quirky and unique, it seems like there’s something here for nearly everyone. Dining, drinks, karaōke, not-your-average bowling experience, and more to explore… this place is huge. The servers assigned to our area were really friendly and accommodating. Mason Mule, a suggestion of one of the bartenders, very simple and refreshing. Vodka, lime juice & ginger beer. The food: sliders, pretzel bites with sauces, chicken skewers… good finger food while you’re standing around chatting. There’s lots of seating for hanging out. I’m looking forward to a return visit!

Went on a Friday night around 9 pm! Hadn’t even heard of this until a friend turned 21 and said she’d be wanting to go. Interesting vibes but definitely fun! Ping pong, bowling, shuffle board and great drinks! Also, the bartenders were dancing and it was very entertaining!

Really enjoyed myself at this place. Server was Brandi, who was a delight.(Thanks for a great time!) Had a juicer beverage involving carrot and ginger. Very healthy. Biscuits were complimentary and should be complimented considering their buttery goodness with divine jam. Got the deviled eggs, with absolutely no regrets. Added a touch of salt to them to bring out flavor a tad more, but the bacon accent on top made me giddy. Brunch entrée was Mexican burger. Hell yes. ’nuff said. Would and will come back. The boyfriend introduced this place to me, so kudos to him for once again showing me a good time. Don’t worry; I picked up the tab.

Atmosphere is ‘fun’ as they have a large bar and lots of activities. The food was just OK. The Paul Bunyan chicken was not half a chicken but more like one leg with a small wing and half a chicken breast or perhaps half of a really small chicken. The kale salad and macaroni and cheese was good though. The Mac was really cheesy. The chicken and waffles was just gross. The chicken was over cooked making it extra hard like the texture of cartilage. The waffle was overly sweet. We got the special punch bowl which was peach tea, vodka, lemon, and other things I can’t remember. The punch was definitely delicious and not overly alcoholic. Bottom line: If you want some good punch, come here. If you want top notch food, go somewhere else.

Drinking is fun. Drinking while playing games is the most fun an adult child can have. Punch Bowl Social allows you to combine the two activities to maximize your fun times. I went on a Tuesday evening with a couple friends, and the place was empty. I actually liked that we didn’t have to share the ping pong or foosball tables. We also spent quite a bit of time at the arcade games. Their arcade game selection isn’t huge, but there is a decent mix of classics and newer games.

Located on the top floor of the mall, this place was not too crowded for being a Saturday night. Bowling is relatively cheap(around $ 50 — perfect to split amongst 5 people) for one hour. The punch bowl we got(whiskey flavored) was really weak for its price though… I wish they put more alcohol — it just tasted like watered-down juice. I’ll come back to bowl but skip the punch bowl next time.

Went here for a friends birthday on Monday night(all games are free after 9 pm!!!) we staked our claim of a couple lanes after ordering some food. My friends and I shared the Mexican burger it was pretty darn good! The place is slightly strange… Being the top floor of pioneer square. It’s very open and empty in a lot of places. I would imagine on a weekend night it gets pretty packed but I’m not sure. Pretty awesome beer selection and my «mason» mule was yummy. They also have skee ball but it’s $ 1 per play which is kind of insane to me. Not sure if it would be my first pick of places to go out but if I was invited I definitely wouldn’t object

Came in here to try to cool off from the hot hot heat outside. and Oh man oh man! THis place is sooo cool! To start off it takes up a whole floor of the mall. It’s right under the movie theater(I thought it would be perfect for a date, dinner first, movie, then drinks after!) But it also has bowling lanes. not 1 but multiple sets! They also have ping pong, places to sit, 3 bars, Karaōke, and darts! There are even some outdoor patios overlookig the street(they weren’t very clean though…) But the inside was super clean. Their food loooked good but I didn’t try any. To be determined. Their drinks? SO yummy! I had one of their punch of the days and it was deeelish! It had Midori in it and I am craving it right now it was so good. It’s a really big venue and I think it would be great for a big party. Everyone in your party could find something to do, and you can all spread out.
