Elliot is a great teacher, and a wealth of information on lots of different and eclectic styles of music — everything from jazz to hip-hop to reggae to classical. I had played the piano from a young age, but fell out of practice. Elliot helped me become a better player than before by spending a lot of time focusing on music theory. He also has great recording equipment and uses Ableton Live and Maschine frequently throughout the lessons, which is a really fun way to experiment with creating your own music, sampling tracks from his extensive record collection, and producing original compositions.

I’ve taken numerous lessons here. My instructor Elliot was always knowledgable and helpful. He seems to have a knack for isolating the problem I was having (whether technical/physical or harmonic/theory wise) and getting to the root of it, isolating it, and then giving me musical exercises or examples on how to overcome this hurdle… big or small. These simple solutions to the problems or shortcomings I was having in my playing overtime have led to me to being much better guitar player, and overall a stronger musician in general.
I would recommend Rhapsody Music School to anyone that’s interested in learning an instrument, anyone looking to learn about production or beat/computer based music, or just music in general. I was basically a beginner and now I feel I can hold my own on the guitar. Thanks Elliot!
