I work in the building so I’m a regular. I’ve only had a few bummer meals here. That’s a few out of 4 years of dining here. It’s delicious 99.9% of the time. The Oregon field green salad is my absolute favorite… I would say I’m slightly addicted to it. Field greens with house made strawberry vinegrette, dried cranberries, candied walnuts, and Gorgonzola cheese need I say more? It’s just so yummy. On top of that the staff is always super friendly, and always smile even when they are slammed at lunch hour! Keep up the good work people!

I visit this café 3 to 4 times per week. The staff is always friendly and efficient and the food is great. The reason I’m writing a review though is the soup! They always have Chili and Turkey Noodle soup but they also have specialty soups that change a couple times per week. The soups are fantastic! Thanks Rivers Edge… don’t change a thing!

I work next door to this place and have been going off and on for the last 6 months. Overall I’d say about 80% of the time I get a good dish. They have a great selection of lunch items and breakfast items. Their sides when purchased separately are way overpriced but most of their meals come with a side and the quantity for the price is decent. The speed and customer service is excellent and their rewards program is great. You can order online ahead of time to beat the rush(usually always 10 – 15 people in line from 11:30−1pm). Sloppy Joe recipe was the best meal I’ve had their so far. Keep it coming back! Thanks guys!

Omg the burrito was sooo big I had to pick at it after awhile. Could have shared it! I was looking at some of the other breakfasts and the sausages looked good too!

This is a lunch spot that takes phone/online orders and also caters so it’s seemingly always busy. I’ve been a handful of times exploring the large menu in hopes of «better luck next time» but so far such luck has been elusive. Salads, wraps, sandwiches, they’ve all come out as odd and/or overwhelming combinations of ingredients and flavors – soggy, messy, meh.

go here for lunch a lot… though I do walk by first before I make up my mind on what I am going to have since sometimes the line is out the door. The food is decent and they always have weekly specials. They are not adverse to making changes and they are helpful and almost always smiling.

This was the ast time I eat here. French Onion soup — $ 4.25 for a bowl of over salted broth with sliced onions a few croutons thrown in. Thats it. Every recipe I have ever made or seen has cheese melted on top of a slice of bread or crustini. They did throw in a pack of saltines. Other reviews say it all, they survive on location and not the quality of food. I should have read the reviews first. Take my advise, avoid this place at all costs. Even if it is too cold to venture very far.

I go here almost every week, I work next door, for their Rogue River wrap. It’s really good and I can save half for the next day so it works out well. The pasta salad that I get with it is really good to me but I don’t usually like pasta salad. Love their tots and some of their specials are really good. I advise against the pasta dishes, I got a carbonara dish one time and the sauce was really thin and watery, had barely any taste to it. Pretty fair prices for the food and it’s really convenient for me because I can order online, pick it up, and eat outside.

I like this place. A group of us at became the Welcoming Committee for a large scale move. We’re moving from Broadway about Harrison to 4th and Market. We were charged with scoping out our new local digs for lunch. This was the first one we tried. it was very good. We arrived during the noon hour, which was very busy. There was quite a line to order, but the staff are fast and friendly and it wasn’t long before we were ordering. Next we learned that they take phone orders and you can order at their web site. Lots of folks were taking advantage of this and thus there was a bit of a line at the pick up counter. Nothing horrible and people seemed to move in and out of the restaurant quickly. I ordered the Longhorn Steak and Mushroom Wrap. It was very good. It was big enough that I didn’t need anything else. One of my co-workers had the Cobb and it looked great as well. Another had the Chuck Steak burger which was huge and came with seasoned fries, WOW, they looked awesome too! She let me sneak a few off her plate! They serve breakfast and based upon my lunch experience and the breakfast menu, I’ll be back to try that too. They also have a frequent patron deal, you spin the wheel, it was cool. I definitely recommend this place.

This place thus far survives only on its location and not on its quality of food or service. I guess the old statement is true it really is all about«location location location». They are mediocre, and I would have probably given them 3 starts for a-ok, however the mediocrity itself is inconsistent varying from ok to terrible. I don’t think this location could ever make a simple salad the same way twice. With the exception of the cashier the staff makes you feel like you are inconveniencing them with your appearance, and talk down to you like you are on your juice break. Unless really pressed for time I usually pay the extra money for delivery from somewhere else; however if you are in a real bind, it is best to order in person and stay while they are making your food, that is your best chance for consistency. Don’t try to call, I tried to call in an order for our office the person answering the phone simply put the phone down and after 20 minutes, I walked over to the place and found the phone was till«holding» to take my order. Good Luck.

My mom ‘s theory is that most good food can be wrapped in a tortilla for breakfast. Growing up with that gem of wisdom, I am a huge fan of their weekly special breakfast burrito. This week it’s corned beef hash, cheddar and egg. Good comfort food that was enough to eat for lunch too. Yeah, that might seem odd but hey, it worked. I placed my order on-line, received a discount and didn’t wait in line to pick it up. Sandwiches are good however, expect to spend $ 7 to $ 8. Still can’t decide if it’s worth it or not. But I do like the California chicken wrap(again, good stuff squished in a tortilla). Always friendly people here and the time frame of order to plate is rather quick… well, more times than not.

It’s a nice place to grab a quick bite(assuming short line) in the building I work. I don’t go very often, but the quality of food is good.

I’ve walked by here often enough and it’s been closed… interestingly, when I mentioned it the very polite and welcoming young woman at the counter said it was because they just aren’t getting the business they need to stay open for longer hours. Well, no wonder! I ordered a hot breakfast sandwich and by the time I got to my office and unwrapped it(yes, it was cold… that’s my fault, not theirs) it was hard as a rock, which of course means that instead of grilling the sandwich on the beautiful grill that they used to fry up the eggs that went inside it, they MICROWAVED it. Gross. WHY? To melt the cheese? It would have taken mere minutes to melt it and simultaneously toast the bread on the grill, for gosh sakes! The oatmeal was good but it’s about the same as Starbucks and similarly priced… and that’s also on my way to work. I love supporting small businesses whenever I can, but no matter how good your location, if you can’t make food tasty enough to keep the doors open then you might as well surrender to the big box chains, because you’re never going to be able to compete. I mean, seriously… how hard would it have been to actually put the bread on the grill instead of the microwave… it’s not like I was in a hurry or anything either. Ugh.

I like this place for lunch during the week. I noticed it a few months ago, while I was running to the bank across the way, and decided, what the hell. Their wraps are outstanding, I have tried the mississippi, and their other wrap with gargonzola cheese and fried chicken, both of which were yummy, and enough for two meals. I also tried their burger, which was properly cooked, and made out of quality meat. I say try it out if you are in the area.

it is great to have a new lunch place in downtown! I’ve been here a few times now and have enjoyed everything I’ve tried. Their prices are lower than most other sit down places for lunch and the portions are really quite large. The wraps come with a choice of side and for less than $ 8 you can have lunch and then some. The salads are also huge and I’ve yet to come close to finishing one and I’m happy to have such fresh ingredients! If you compare them to other places in the area that serve the same type of food(a brewery perhaps) you find the portions are just as big if not bigger and the prices are much lower. Also, the staff has been really nice and accomodating to changes when I’ve asked for them.

I love this spot! It reminds me of an on campus sub place/deli I worked at thorough college. But, instead of serving entitled college kids, these folks have to put up with entitled office workers – and they do it quickly and professionally and with a huge helping of humor. The ladies working the counter always know exactly what I want-and I hope they name the sandwich after me someday. I get a muenster sandwich on a baguette on a weekly basis. For $ 6.50 I get fresh cheese accompanied by fresh veggies heaped on top of a super soft and tasty baguette with a side of my choice(usually fruit) – a ginormous sammy and tons of smiles. All of the other food I have had here is great tasting and super fresh as well, but there is something that is awesomely sinister that keeps me coming back for this masterpiece. I highly recommend stopping in If you find yourself hanging at any of the parks close to here: Pettigrove Park, Ira Keller Fountains, or McCall Park. All are a short jaunt away from Deliciousness. Quick tips: They are only open til 3, they are quite veggie friendly and they do take cards.

This place if very close to our home office — so it’s an easy place to get lunch if my husband and I are fairly busy that day or it’s raining. The service is ok. They’re really good about making things right. Today they didn’t have any chocolate chip cookies except for a broken one. They gave the broken one to my husband and gave him another non-broken one to him for free. At times the staff seems to be busy having fun themselves that it comes off weird to the customer. I don’t consider it to be rude though. Most of the things we’ve tried have been pretty good — BLTAC wrap, soups, Cobb Salad, their chicken sandwiches, etc. My main issue — and the issue I have with most places — is that their portion sizes are huge.

I work near here so that’s how I stumbled on it. Otherwise I would never have just came into the 200 Market building for this place. Personally I love their pasta salad, I hate pasta salad usually but DAMN, this has tarragon and is light– not much olive oil at all. Also, it’s very much appreciated that they have Peak Sweetened Green Tea as a fountain drink choice, it’s my favorite. The staff is pretty care free and friendly, haha they get sandwiches out quick. I usually order the Chicken Pesto Sandwich which I think might have a different name, it has a super delicious pesto mayo, cold grilled chicken breast, lettuce and tomato. I have been ordering the«Little River Deli» which is a build your own half sandwich with a side choice for $ 4. Luckily it isn’t a pewnie half sandwich like most places, it’s perfect for lunch with the side and a drink. Plan on trying one of the wraps soon.

Alas, this place is so close to work that I have no choice but to eat here once in a while, if only to avoid dredging too far in the cold rain on a shorter than usual lunch hour. An enticing selection(enticing sounding, anyway) of wraps, salad, deli sammies, and burgers with a couple of daily specials thrown in. But, alas. Actually I would give them one star, but you’ll notice that is my real photo on my profile and unless I Photoshop in some dark glasses, a hat, and a moustache… or never eat here again… I am afraid some sort of kitchen retaliation might be in order because I am bound to be recognized eventually. I don’t want my occasional lunch at River’s «Edge»(the river being like a quarter mile away so I guess use your imagination) to be sabotaged. Breakfasts are not bad, lunches are… ok…service is kind of rude sometimes, to be perfectly honest. At least the Soup Nazi had good soup. This place will succeed simply by holding us nearby corporate types hostage because of their convenient location – base of the Black Box on 1st/Market.
