Riverside Grill

Riverside Grill is a fun little spot. In the summer you can sit on the lovely deck, overlooking the golf course while listening to live music & sipping cocktails, it’s great. In the winter you can sit at the bar or by the fireplace, have a nice dinner & listen to karaōke (on Friday nites), which is a hoot! I do find the menu a bit limited but I always enjoy what I order. Wine is my drink of choice and they are definitely skimpy & pricey on the wine. I’ve tried the flatbread, steak tips & quesadilla. The only dish that fell flat was the quesadilla but there are other options that are much better. We go often and will continue to do so because we always have a good time. Check it out, you will have fun!
Update: We went for brunch last Sunday. It was very good. I recommend it. I got the spinach & feta omelet, home fries & wheat toast. The home fries were not greasy or overcooked, like in a lot of places. They were cooked to perfection, crunchy on the outside, soft in the middle. My SO got eggs, sausage & english. Pretty basic but delicious. We were the only ones there, we sat by the fire place & the service was great. I think even if we were not the only ones there, the service would still be good. Our waitress was very personable & attentive. Price is very reasonable. Do yourself a favor & enjoy a yummy brunch @ Riverside Grill. Oh, they are expanding the deck so this summer it’ll be a hopping spot! Can’t wait!

Love this place! My fiancée and I live in the North Deering area and we decided to give it a try after one of our friends suggested it. It is one of the best kept secret in our opinion. It happened to be trivia night (Wedneday). We had so much fun. Great specials, great staff and better yet the food was amazing. I LOVED the spicy pollitos. They are the bomb, plus only $ 5 during happy hour– which we unfortunately missed. We definitely will be back!

Oops! Major faux pas — went here for lunch today and ordered a burger. The taste was off and I believed that the meat was bad. The waitress took the burger back to the chef who said it was fine. That’s it — no apology, didn’t ask if maybe I’d like something else, just said that the meat was fine. I did eat the fries, but was charged full price for a meal that I did not eat or would feed to my dog. Sorry, won’t be eating here again!
