Great food & the owner is such a sweetheart! Always makes an awesome burger special for Portland’s burger week! They have gluten free buns, vegan mayonnaise, & options for different sauces, cheese & I love adding bacon & eggs to mine.

Located in the Belmont Street Eats pod. Amazing. So far I’ve had: the Sassy Burger,(pepper bacon and Tillamook cheese) Our kid devoured the Brat Burger– and she’s pretty picky at times;) About a week ago, I tried the Rosemary Chicken… Holy cow!(Or chicken) perfectly seasoned. Today, I had the Psycho Sassy(Swiss and ‘shrooms) … Divine! Robyn’s parents used to run the Igloo, where she cooked as a teen– this woman knows her burgers, man! She has her own Sassy seasoning blended into the local meat– she even uses local buns. I can’t wait to try a milkshake and fries. I am such a burger hog, I’m sure I will have tried them all by the end of the year… Portland’s best for SURE.

I’ve eaten there close to 5 times, delicious each time! It’s the best by far out of the burgers within talking distance. The psycho sassy is awesome, but you can’t go wrong with the bbq sassy-frass burger.

What I love about these burgers is their simplicity and the exceptional quality of the ingredients; they’re all bought locally. The secret is in Robyn’s «Sassy Seasoning» and it’s what makes it the best damn burger around. And the fries, oh the fresh-cut fries! Make sure you get some with your gourmet, freshly ground, hand-pattied gourmet hamburger.

Awesome!!! Best burger I’ve had in a long time! The bun was perfect– fries were fresh potatoes for the perfect fries. Crisp lettuce, tomato, and onion– Rockin’ Robyn knows what she’s doing– if ever I have a hankering for a burger– this is where I’m going!

Delicious. I got a cheddar burger with avocado. My sweety had the one with everything. And we split a fries. The only reason I left a star off was the lack of Coca Cola which I find necessary for a good burger joint and the price was pretty high for a food cart. Tip: ask for tons of napkins. You’ll need them. Also they slice the onions THICK, so if you’re not a big onion person let them know. The lady is super nice and friendly so you might be able to ask for thinner sliced onions. Also be prepared for a messy area to eat. I don’t blame them as they share the seating area with all the other food carts but I did wish for some clorox wipes!

Great tasting patties. The fries were to die for! Seasoned but not too much seasoning. Nice, big selection for a food cart menu. Was sad when I went that they were out of onion rings AND milkshakes! Bummer! New favorite place is the Rose City Food Park. Pretty good selection of carts, restrooms, covered/heated area, kids play area, and it’s not too close to the road(bonus!).

Sassy Assassin FTW. A limited-time burger from February(that I wish would remain on the everyday menu), this burger had melted pepper jack cheese, habanero pico de gallo, wasabi avocado, a spicy mayo(featuring ghost pepper sauce), all on a Portland French Bakery bun. If that wasn’t enough heat, the hand-cut fries with this burger were seasoned with some ghost pepper salt. Golden brown fries, crispy. Can’t go wrong. The panda devoured his meal in about five minutes and enjoyed it. VIDEO: Stop by this cart for some panda-approved foodgasms!

I’m currently writing this review from my car, as I attempted to consume this burger about five minutes ago and it deserves an immediate review for this has been the first burger that has defeated me. Rockin’ Robyn’s Sassy Burger is a food cart located on Sandy blvd in Portland, OR and it’s definitely one to look out for. The portion size of this burger was so large, that sadly there was still about three bites worth unaccounted for. Now I know how Adam Richman feels when he is only a few bites away from finishing a challenge, and fails. In fact, this was my first meal of the day, and I came here right after the gym. So trust me when I say I came hungry. You just need to come hungrier. This is what my friend ordered for himself, and described it as delicious and similar to the texture of shredded onions, but sweet. It’s currently sitting next to me in my car in a to-go box, and I’m so full that I’m debating throwing it away. Will I though? Probably not, I’ll post a photo later. Anyways, for $ 15.25 for this burger, stuffed with 2 cheeses, 2 beef patties, a fries egg and pepper bacon, you better be expecting a hefty meal. However, I didn’t spend $ 15.25 for this. The best way to save some money while dining here is to purchase the Groupon deal($ 5 for $ 10 or $ 10 for $ 20), which is exactly what I did. Want some fries? Check in here on the Unilocal app, and as of today(February 21st, 2014) and however much longer this deal continues, you’ll get a free half order of fries. Since I had more money left on the Groupon, I also ordered the Apple Dream Burger… a seasonal item of a simple burger topped with shredded Braeburn apple and cheddar cheese. First of all, the fries were delicious. Some of the best fries I’ve ever had. They are thick cut, but square shaped(not flat) and seasoned to perfection. I believe they’re seasoned with salt, pepper and a bit of Cajun spicing or paprika but I may be mistaken. Either way, they’re off the hook, and getting them for free thanks to Unilocal is just awesome. They’re excellently crispy with the perfect tenderness inside. A must have item here. Now the burger. The burger was large, filling, heavy, and an asshole. I hate when I can’t finish something. I feel both defeated and wasteful, and I can put away a lot of food. I think the fact that this monster is packed with tons of calories also filled me up good. Looking at the patties, you can see that this place has their own special blend of seasoning to give their meat a distinct flavor. The beef was cooked well done and deliciously done, and it was very, very juicy. Why took this burger to the next level was definitely the cheeses. There was both blue cheese and cheddar, and they were melted and blended to perfection. I would dip my fries in the melted cheeses that dropped onto my tray. The egg with bacon was definitely a good and necessary touch, but the distinct beef and melted cheese is what I believe make this place special. A great thing about this place is that they have many options. Specialty burgers, ordinary, different vegetarian options and even hot dogs and stews. They have unique additions to add to a burger for only a dollar each, such as peanut butter, Braeburn apple, or Cajun seasonings. This place is awesome, and I’ll be back once I recover. The lady here(Robyn?!) was extremely nice and asked me how the burger was. My reaction was«delicious…heavy». I’m considering actually hitting the gym for the second time today now… but maybe I’ll eat this Apple Dream Burger first. Please follow my burger blog on Instagram and Tumblr: PNWburgers and

solid BIG burger. tastes good, and fresh(that’s always a +) they have many options to customize your burger and the prices are fair(not cheap, but fair for what you get). several vegetarian options are possible. i didn’t enjoy the fries that much —

What a tasty burger! All the products are local and you can taste it. The cheap sassy burger basket is only $ 5 and comes with a burger, ½ an order of fries, and soda! I did upgrade $ 0.75 for Tillamook cheese. Service is friendly and prompt. We’ll be back for sure.

My boyfriend and I slipped by Killer Burger to give it a try only to be disappointed that it was packed– with children and beer mongering families. Nope! Not for this Unicorn worshipping queer boy couple. We decided to fire up trusty Unilocal and type in «burgers» near Sandy. Well to our delight a sassy burger joint appeared. OFCOURSE we had to go there. We walked on over to be greeted by the nicest lady, I assume it was Robyn, who welcomed us genuinely and was more than happy to answer our questions. Her menu selections has something for everyone but we chose a classic Sassy cheeseburger. We got one order of fries to split between us. She asked us our names and then mentioned the cozy patio with a heater for us to wait in. She promised she would call our names out louder than something something(it was sassy in the good way). She did not disappoint by ringing the dinner bell with her voice. We ran over and she hoped we would love our burgers. They looked INCREDIBLE. The fries were hand cut too. Welp, we loved our burgers. Everything was well balanced. Fresh lettuce, good quality tomato, quality beef that wasn’t overcook and delicious melty cheese. What more can you ask for? Our fries were hot and crisp. Ketchup did it’s job. Altogether this was a satisfying meal, that wasn’t overly seasoned or salty and tasted great with each bite. Also the service– it truly helps to be served by someone who puts love into their food and cares about how you experience it. My burger loving friends, please pay her burger cart a visit. You’ll not only be satisfied, but you’ll be delighted by her charm. Hurray for a great burger cart!

Definitely one of the best burgers I’ve had in a while. Had the portobello burger, while BF got the eggplant burger. Our burgers were so freakin’ good. I’ve been trying to slow down with the eating, but I couldn’t with this one. I just HADTO continuously stuff my mouth with it because it was that good. You could tell the ingredients were fresh and of high quality. I mean, even though it’s a portobello mushroom subbing for a meat patty, everything was still flavorful. The bun was nice and toasty, and there was enough condiments to enhance, but not overwhelm the burger. I have to give them LOTS of props for using just a portobello mushroom or the eggplant, as opposed to a veggie burger. I feel that it would be more difficult to make a burger with just one vegetable since you won’t have all that different stuffs in a veggie patty to enhance the flavor. Rockin’ Robyn gets two thumbs up on that one. I’m kinda ok about the fries though. I appreciate that they’re freshly cut and cooked, but I guess I’m more of a frozen potato type of gal? Either way, they were still crisp and well seasoned. I don’t know, there’s just that different thing about fries made with pre-frozen potatoes. Anyway, if you want some rockin’ burgers, you need to check out Rockin’ Robyn and her Sassy Burgers. You won’t be disappointed!

I love this place. It’s so freakin good. I used the Unilocal $ 5 for $ 10 and got the free half order of fries for checking in. I’m really picky about burgers. There are only maybe 3 burgers I really like in this town and this is one of them. I got the sassy-frass with a fried egg on it. First of all the thing is huge. I’m actually in pain a little bit, I’m so full. But in a good way. It’s also messy. Also in a good way. Fries are excellent and my burger was to die for. Not to mention the woman, who I’m assuming is Robyn, is the sweetest ever. And it’s nice that the cart is open so often! Best five bucks I’ve spent in a long time. I’ll definitely be back again and again.

This is a nice little foodcart with some really big burgers. I, uh, tried to finish the double sassy huge burger thing. Yeah, it was a thing. It’s a huge monster of a burger that should not be taken lightly. I really don’t know what I was thinking ordering it, and she tried to persuade me not too. She could look at me and tell that it wasn’t going to end well. Let’s just say that her burgers are just as good the second day as they are the first day. I think they are better than Killer Burger down the street but not by much. Neither place has fries that are really any good. She gives really good customer service, and has a pretty nice selection of burgers.
