Have been going here on and off for years with my son, starting when he was little and she was located across the street. Haircuts were fine; if there was a line, it went fast; and, she had always been very welcoming in the past. Today she looked my sixteen year old son, who has Down syndrome, in the eye and said it would be $ 25 for his hair cut(instead of the $ 17 she charges everyone else) because«he gave her a hard time in the past». Took her fourteen minutes to cut his hair, earn $ 25, wreck our day, and lose a customer. I understand a right to refuse service but think tier pricing is odd.

From start to finish, a horrible experience… The whole time I was getting my hair cut she had me facing away from the mirror so I couldn’t even see what was being done. At the end, I pulled out a credit card to make my payment and she says«Cash only». Lady, if you are a cash only business it needs to be POSTED. Buy a sign, hang it on your door, or your wall. I walked in intending to pay with a credit card and pay that off later so it wasn’t a nice surprise. I didn’t have any cash on me. There was a Safeway a couple blocks away so I said I’d be back in a minute. She said«you need to leave your phone», insisting that I leave my $ 900 device as collateral for the haircut. Really lady? I’m in my 30’s. I’m leaving my car parked directly in front of your shop to walk. I’m not going to «steal» a haircut! Awful customer service…

Great little barber shop. Rosie is hardworking, dependable. A deal at 15 dollars. Highly recommend if you are looking for a neighborhood affordable barber. Rosie is great!

Simple barber shop, I have been going in each month for a trim, four so far. Rosie is very nice and has very reasonable pricing. I have seen women in there getting more fancy treatments including color and perms, but Rosie does excellent dude haircuts as well.
