I had a really fantastic breakfast burrito this morning. Generally I have low expectations for campus cafeteria food, but this burrito was amazing. It contained eggs, mushrooms and what tasted like a bechamel cheese sauce with a side of really good salsa to dip. I will be back for more burritos!

For those of us that are on the OHSU Marquam Hill campus on weekends, the M-F only hours are a bit saddening. Definitely my go-to place for coffee when I’m working during the week, however. Both healthy snacks and savory treats are available here, along with Stumptown brew, as mentioned by others. Well rounded variety in a nice nook within Sam Jackson Hall.

Stumptown coffee is served here and the staff make a pretty mean brew. And lots of tasty breakfast and lunch options too. Pastries are from Roman’s and are amazing(try the pop tarts!). I grabbed a fruit and cheese box this morning to have for lunch but several of the sandwiches looked quite good as well. I much prefer this spot over some of the other places scattered throughout OHSU– it’s worth your time to seek them out!

Although there a little bit pricey they’re comparable to Starbucks in that manner. But they’ve got Starbucks beat with the vast selection of food items healthy food items even the coffee doesn’t taste burnt Now they didn’t have the caramel drizzle that I normally get at Starbucks but my white mocha without it was still flavorful. They have detox water moonstruck chocolate and delicious pastries that are soft. I would recommend going here any day over Starbucks

More expensive than the other places to get coffee on campus. Ridiculously they claim the reason soy milk isn’t available self serve is because there isn’t room on the counter — which they custom designed. Instead, you have to get someone’s attention, which can take 2 – 3 minutes or more, and then they won’t even let you pour it yourself. If it is Stumptown you are after, do yourself a favor and visit the Daily Café at the Tram instead.

My stop and go for stumptown coffee while I’m at OHSU. With good toasted focaccia sandwiches

I think they’ve been open for one month here. Today there’s two local roasters: Stumptown and Rose Line, both Guatemalan roasts. 1.75 for a small cup, 2.00 medium, so it’s pretty cheap. The coffee is premade drip only, in those huge metal containers. I guess doctors don’t have time for a proper pourover :). For food, there’s breakfast lunch and soup. Turkey focaccia, Toluca pollo rollo– a vegetarian wrap I believe there lots of scones and cookies and baked goods.
