Since Donut King in Tualatin shut down, I’ve been yearning for a good donut. Sesame Donuts has a pretty stupid name, but the donuts are decent. In fact, for a run-​of-​the-​mill donut place, it might be the best in the area.
The donuts are good… Not great, but good. They don’t fill you up, either, which is odd. I can power through two and feel fine. Typically, I feel like a beached sea animal if I have two donuts.
Bottom line is, they’re more than adequate at donut-​ery. Simple, easy, straightforward donuts. Enough said.

We just had a friend surprise us with a box of donuts from Sesame Donuts. The donuts were fantastic. The «Sesame Donut» was my favorite although the custard filled maple was a close 2nd. Super fresh and delicious.

This is a family run business and has been around for over 20 years. This is one of the last Donut shops in Portland that you get a friendly welcome when you walk in the door. They have a great sense of humor and a love for life, they also have great donuts, coffee and other home made treats. You need to experience these guys.
