Great bike shop, super friendly and helpful. They do a really nice job with repair and maintenance. I bought my commuter here and have really enjoyed working with these guys. I would totally recommend them!

This place is so solid. It’s so nice to walk into any sort of place that employs folks that really care about what they do. I think that makes all the difference in the world. These guys clearly care about bicycles and helped me a ton.
I brought my bike in because the brakes were weak and the gears kept shifting randomly. They fixed this in an hour or so.
Then I decided to try and do a cyclocross, so I went back and asked about tires. They helped and gave me a great recommendation.
I just got back from the event and had a ton of fun and the tires and tire pressure they recommended really helped. That feeling of making a bar banging pass on an old man in spandex at the finish line was more than enough to keep me grinning ear to ear all day.
I was initially anxious about going to a shop because I really dislike shopping and wasn’t sure about local oregon pretense as I’m new to biking but these dudes made me regret ordering anything off amazon. I now know everything I buy for the bike will be here. Thanks Guys!

I can’t recommend Seven Corners Cycles highly enough. This is the best and nicest bike shop I have found in Portland, Their customer service and bike knowledge is unexcelled anywhere else in Portland.
The friendliness and bike knowledge of Corey and staff is tremendous. The moment you walk into the store, you are warmly greeted and your bike problem/​question becomes the most important thing in the minds of the person helping you. No question is treated as stupid or unwanted. The staff’s entire focus centers around you, your needs and your questions. You feel as if you are the most important person in their life. And you are treated more than fair.
Corey and the staff are not bike snobs nor do they make you feel like an idiot. You are not made to be hurried or rushed. The staff is there to help you. They do not try to «upscale» you to the most expensive item in a group. If they make a recommendation of one item over another, it is because, based upon your input to them, they are sincerely trying to recommend the very best product for your needs and price range
Lots of minor repairs and installations can be performed while you wait. Labor rates are extremely fair and, for many services, border on the ridiculous. How can they stay in business with such reasonable labor rates?
You come in and leave feeling like the most important person in the world.

Even though I’ve moved frrom the neighborhood, I still return to Seven Corners Cycles for bike maintenance, as well as to check out the new gear, accessories, and bikes. The staff is knowledgeable, nice, patient, and honest. I highly recommend Seven Corners Cycles. They are the BEST shop in Portland!

Seconding JW’s and Amado’s reviews, I went to this local bike shop to get a new tire, and was really impressed with every aspect of the experience:
+ Clean shop
+ Friendly and knowledgeable staff, willing to answer any question about bikes, repairs, maintenance, where to ride, etc
+ Gave me all the information I needed to make an informed purchase, without upselling unnecessarily expensive gear
+ Installed my new bike tire free, and without asking tuned-​up the shifters, too
+ Decent selection of bikes and all necessary accessories
+ I’m not sure if this is a permanent thing, or just extra stock they had to clear, but they had a wall of good quality kids/​adult helmets super discounted for only $ 10 each! I brought a friend back later in the day to buy one and they loved it; awesome deal!
— The only downside is that they’re not as big as some of the massive bike shops that have multiple locations and thousands of feet of bikes, accessories, clothes (think River City Bikes or Bike Gallery), but they’ve definitely earned their place as my first stop when needing bike maintenance, repairs, or essential accessories.

These guys are super-​awesome. Top-​notch customer service. Corey makes you feel like family. I highly recommend Seven Corners.

Seven Corners is now my go to bike shop when in Oregon. It is definitely not my LBS since I’m driving over an hour to get there from Salem. But its really worth that drive imo.
On my first visit I brought my Bianchi in to have my saddle adjusted. It wasnt a planned stop but very fortuitous for me that I was in that neighborhood and the bike was in my truck.
Corey greeted me with a smile, answered several questions, and I felt easy going rapport with him. Customer service in this bike shop has been 5* every visit.
On my next visit I had pre-​arranged with Corey to give me some basic fix-​it-​yourself maintenance lessons. Wow! He was awesome. He took his time and was very patient, explained things more than once when I needed it, showed me little tricks and do’s and don’ts and WHYS. He made it easy as I’m a hands-​on learner and this was really good for me. He also explained about shifting to me — at least twice. He put together all the fix-​it stuff I needed, he didnt try to sell me stuff I didnt need, and he explained why one item was preferable over another. It was all exactly what I was looking to get out of the lessons. The bike wasnt feeling great to me so he replaced the stem making the bike fit me much better. He won extra goodness points when he upgraded the bike computer I wanted, at no charge, because he noticed the original one had a flaw and it was their last one. 5* service! I spent a bit of money buying all my goodies but none of it was overpriced compared to anywhere else and some of it was nearly as inexpensive as Amazon when I compared it all later. Truthfully, I had expected to pay him for his time too, which I told him, but he didnt charge me for it. Wow! I felt much more confident walking out of there. And I knew I had found My Bike Shop.
On my next visit Ben was my service guy and he was fabulous to work with too. He had some really great suggestions to some issues I was having. He installed my new and very expensive saddle, even though I didnt buy it from them. And he made a chain seat lock for me. I wanted a rack and he recommended one and explained why it was preferable over the others. After it was installed he discussed the pros and cons of different types of panniers with me. Ive never seen any high pressure sales tactics there. I feel both Corey and Ben told me strait up whats what.
Being a very novice cyclist, I really wanted to find someone who would just take their time to answer all of my questions, patiently and thoroughly. And they’ve done that, every visit. Ive watched them take that time with all their customers. I never felt rushed there or slighted for my lack of knowledge and endless novice questions. They’ve been just wonderful to deal with and have won my loyalty. When we are back in Oregon in the spring, one of my very first stops will be to bring my bike in to these great guys at Seven Corners for a full tune-​up. I have total confidence in this bike shop. I’ll definitely be back!
And I almost hate to leave the review because I dont want everyone in Oregon finding them!

These guys have treated me great many times. Even if I’m buying something inexpensive they give me lots of assistance.

Just returned from the bike shop with a new Specialized and I’m really excited! Graham helped me out, and helped me find a bike to suit me and my purposes. The experience was laid back and I really appreciated the low-​pressure environment — no big deal to familiarize myself with the bike’s workings in the parking lot, then take a test ride around the neighborhood. I’m fortunate enough to live across the street from this shop, but would travel (bike, drive, fly if I had to) to get here. Great place!

Wow! This place is awesome! You can feel the positive tone from the second you walk in the door. All three people I have dealt with were completely unpretentious, very knowledgeable, patient, and pretty funny. Unfortunately, I bought my bike from another shop before I knew about Seven Corners, and even though it’s an entry level bike of a brand they don’t carry, they have never seemed to look down on it or treat it as less important than any other bike they work on.
The prices are very competitive. They don’t try to pressure you into a purchase and have never tried to upsell me on more expensive items. This place is obviously more interested in making happy customers who will come back than making a quick sale like other shops.
Seven Corners seems would be perfect for the avid cyclist riding a very high end bike or a person just getting into cycling.

The owner is awesome. He really loves bikes, and I never felt pressured to purchase something I didn’t need. Got a bike that perfectly fits my needs.

I live on the other side of town and still choose to keep returning every year. My last visit (on a Saturday) the shop was busy with bike folk and I needed some piddly junk done to my bike that I failed to ask for when I dropped my bike off. Corey did it all for me without a grumble and he laughed and smiled not just with me but with everyone that walked into his place. I think about half the people that came in he called by name. I cannot say enough good things about Seven Corners Cycle. It’s a busy place in the summertime which makes sense but still come here they really are worth the wait if like me you wait until summertime to get stuff done to your one, two, three or four wheeler.

I came in one day to use a bike pump when I first moved to Portland (January ’15), and the gentleman recommended a few excellent trails for me to ride that I wouldn’t have found otherwise.
I also came in to purchase a new tube and mentioned my rear wheel striking the frame after braking and they fixed it for me free of charge, and showed me how to deal with it in the future. The staff is very knowledgable, and super friendly-​everything you could ask for in a shop. Finally there is a business that cares about customer service; I will definitely be back for a tune up and any other bike needs!

This is one of my favorite businesses in Portland, and that includes any category, not just bicycle shops. I agree with Mark M that this place deserves another star. Cory and all of the staff are super knowledgeable, friendly, and sincere with their attention and high quality service. They always assure you that your experience is their main concern, and they mean it. I bought my commuter bike here 18 months ago and just had it tuned up, and it rides like a champ. I plan on coming back and buying my first new road bike here in the near future. More than fair prices, sincere and friendly staff. Proud to be a long-​term customer of Seven Corners.

Brought our bikes in for a tune up after being taken apart and stored in the trunk for a cross country move. They were able to tune up our bikes for $ 40 cheaper than quoted, and completed the tune up on a short deadline. The bikes are riding great! It was apparent from my experience they are looking to add long term value for their customers. Great prices, friendly staff and quality work. We will definitely be back.

My 2^nd update: The employees here are just the best. They’re always very friendly, and though I’m not sure they recognize my face, it certainly feels like it.
Since my previous update, I’ve had my bike in for service and also had wheelchair tires replaced a couple times. The price is always fair and the work is superior.
This is absolutely the kind of local business that should be supported and celebrated! I’m glad I’m a customer!

I moved to Portland this spring and began searching for a new bike for the first time in 10 years. There are 50+ bike shops in PDX and I was a bit overwhelmed.
Corey at Seven Corners was amazing… he fielded my awkward questions with enthusiasm, guided my decision with helpful knowledge and experience based advice. All without judgement or pressure. And I left with a bike that I fell in love with on the test ride… and have been exploring Portland with ever since! Kudos to Corey and the crew at Seven Corners for excellent service and creating a welcoming environment; I would recommend them to anyone looking for a genuine experience.

Had our bikes for a while now and they’re doing great. We brought them back in for tune ups after the bikes settled in and that’s all done for FREE. I also went in to get new tires since Portland roads aren’t the greatest and I got two flats in a week with tiny holes. They recommended the armadillo tires and I highly recommend them. They are a little pricey but I actually road over glass twice with no issues and no flats since. He also got me a bigger size tire which helped on road grip and I had plenty of room without having to trade brakes. They are always friendly and prompt with no hassles. Thanks for the continued GREAT service.
Update 10÷27÷14
Got clipped by a car and back wheel got out of whack. Quoted me on the new rim (60 $) over the phone but when I brought it in Ended up being just a Spoke needing replacing and since I bought the bicycle there it was half price service so only ten bucks for parts and labor. Good to know they don’t try to get one over on people and will do simple fixes without claiming to need to replace major parts. Not only that but when I called they had actual concern over whether I was ok or not. This place just gets better and better.
