I really really don’t like dealing with sales people. I know it’s their job and all but most are pushy. At sleep train by Washinton Square the sales lady was not pushy at all. It was a very pleasant experience. Thank you Erin for helping us purchase our new queen bed set.

This is the first time I have ever purchased a brand new bed. I was worried it would be a similar experience to buying a car. I was pleasantly surprised. Laura was super helpful and very low pressure. She let us try every bed we wanted and answered all our questions. We did a lot of research on line prior to coming in. Which I would recommend anyone do. However Laura was quick to confirm all the things we found on line. So it wasn’t a bunch of hooks to get you in. In fact she pointed other bonuses we would receive with our purchase than what we were expecting. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a new bed. We had our daughter with us and as we were checking out she became very cranky. (Our daughter not Laura.) So Laura was able to do the paperwork quickly and simplify the process so we could get our daughter home for bed. If you go anywhere to buy a bed make sure you stop here before you make a decision. Can’t wait for our new bed to arrive. They are delivering it for free.

Very knowledgable staff with several excellent beds to choose from. Store manager Laura went way beyond the expected and gave us a no-​pressure offer. The stay-​cool pillows are turning out to be a family favorite!

If your in need of a beauty rest then this is your place. The store is in a nice location by Washington Square mall while the staff was very nice and very professional of their work. They helped with everything from answering all my questions to helping me with my mattresses.
The store is very clean and tidy with the best selections of mattresses. (Tempur-​pedic, Beautyrest and a lot more) I love this store because of the many options. My favorite was the mattress cover/​protecter that helps protect against stains, spills and flaky skin it that helps «doubles» the life expectancy of the mattress!

See Simon at Sleep Country for a great deal on a mattress. The store has lots of different types and Simon is very good at showing you the options, no pressure, no wasted time, if there is a floor model available, they will sell it to you at a reduced price.

Just worked with Simon on buying multiple mattress sets, and was so impressed that he did not try to up-​sell me. He knew what I had before and helped me find the same brand and style and showed me side by side the comparisons of materials and springs. He worked on finding me the mattresses I wanted even though they showed that they were sold out. Great experience.

I went there thinking it could be a good place to buy a queen size mattress and a twin mattress for my daughter, boy I was wrong!
A guy named Mike Mc-​something (can’t remember his last name) helped me, he was sitting in the front desk and he not only ignored me, but was very condescending, and offered no help whatsoever, when I needed to use the phone to call my wife to let her know about the mattress (because I forgot my phone in my truck), he didn’t even offered me to use the phone and he said «you can go get your phone and I’ll be here», 0 customer service, needless to say I went to my truck and didn’t go back.

We went to Sleep Country on Scholls Ferry and worked with Ryan Mack. We received excellent service. Ryan was very helpful, knowledge and friendly. He was able to answer all of our questions and made the buying experience very enjoyable. I will definitely go back to this store and buy again!

Great experience. Simon assisted me. He never tried to up sale me he just gave me all the info on the mattress type I was looking for. He took the time to try to get me the best possible price ( Unilocal coupon/​Current sale on mattress). In a nutshell it was a pleasant buy and I would come back no doubt. As an owner of a mattress store in Iowa, I was helping a friend who has relocated to the Portland area purchase a few mattresses for his new place. The entire experience with Sleep Country on Scholls Ferry Road was smooth and I would recommend this location to anyone searching for a new bed. Great service. Very knowledgeable Good experience overall. Went in and purchased in the morning and had installed (for free) in the evening. thank you note was a nice touch a few weeks later.

It was time to buy another mattress and this time I knew exactly what to do and drove straight to Sleep Country. We had just renovated a room and my daughter was in need of a new, full size mattress.
I absolutely LOVE the customer service here! The greatest thing about Allen was that he made sure he kept my daughter focused on beds that fit within my price range. And when I didn’t even know where to start with my price range, he guided me through that, starting low and pointing out only the good in what we were looking at. At no time did he try to up-​sell us or redirect us to mattresses where he could get more money from us. Gotta love that.
And just like our last experience here, even though he was the only salesperson in the store, he deftly handled us and the two other customers who wandered in after us, making sure each were attended to but also very much keeping in mind that we had been there first and he intended on making sure we got what we wanted/​needed.
Despite shopping at about 8pm, he got our mattress delivered to us within a two-​hour window the very next day. I’ll never shop anywhere else for mattresses.
