Absolute worst customer service I’ve ever experienced !!! The manager is a complete douche bag ! He will tell you a price, go to ring you up and decide it’s $ 10 dollars more. I’m betting on little man syndrome. I will never return to this store again ! I will be sure to take my business to ESB moto or Motorcycle warehouse down the street, or even drive to Oregon City for APEX Motorsports. I would not recommend Sports Plaza to ANYONE !!!

I went in for a service recall. They took down my information and said they would order the part and call me in a week or two when it arrived. Three weeks later I call for an update and they never ordered the part! The guy was unapologetic and gave the excuse that they needed more information from me before they ordered it. If that was honestly the reason, it would have made sense to call me and ask for it, don’t ya think?

Bought a new bike from Sports Plaza in March of 2014. Great experience working with Justin. Not a lot of shops on this side of town but they still treat you like they value your business…
Hate going in there because there is always another new Yamaha calling my name…
As stated above… hours may not be correct but that might be Unilocal fault or ??? Call ahead.
So far I haven’t needed mechanical work but I’ve overheard the mechanic talking with folks… he’s seems like a straight up guy who knows his stuff. Friend at work had breaks done on his big Yamaha crusier, great experience.

Fix your store hours. Just drove an hour through traffic because Unilocal says you are open. 5pm on a Monday.

TL: DR — Never go to this place for scooter issues. Was charged much more than any other shop for a tune up. I left the shop, scooter sounded good, less than 10 minutes later, the scooter DIED. This was on a Saturday after they had closed and they were not open again until Tuesday. I took on the cost of having it towed to my home. The manager did have it picked up to work on it. Said it wasn’t their fault (yeah, right). Once I got it back, about a week later, it ran fine for a day. Then, once again, the idle was off and it would DIE if I came to complete stop. I had to argue with them to come pick it up and repair it again, they wanted me to bring it in and to pay for additional repairs. It took three days for them to repair it, but when I called to check on it, the cashier said it had been ready for two days. This was the absolute worst experience, and it is very unfortunate when a manager says it wasn’t their fault. I took my scooter in for a tune up — there were no issues until their mechanics touched it. I had since gone to Columbia Scooters and their prices are better, service better and they are all about scooters. Go there. And never Yamaha sports plaza for your scooter needs. But, if you want to pay a lot of money and have to take two weeks and two trips to a sketchy party of town, by all means.

Went to many dealers and were treated very well but this place really made a lasting impression. Stopped in many times to ask questions and look at what they had in stock. I was treated very well by all of the staff and especially Justin. They also have a store in Fairview and Dan was super helpful out there as well. They made me a deal on a new bike that I couldn’t pass up and couldn’t be happier with the buying experience.

I just purchased a new motorcycle here and some gear to go with it. Both Justin and Nathan were professional and knowledgeable about the products they sell. The prices are fair, the service I received was excellent and the products sold are high quality. I highly recommend this shop!
