Ate here a few days ago with my wife. We live close by and pass it everyday on the way to and from work. A couple of guys from work said the pizza is great and you can get it by the slice so mix and match! We happened to stop in during happy hour, 2 slices for $ 5. The slices are HUGE, 2 slices is really a half a pizza. We both got the cheese, which was perfect! Just the right thickness, great sauce to cheese ratio, and still lots of flavor. I have had a lot of shitty pizza in my life so I can recognize a good pizza, this is a good pizza! They also have a bar! Can’t really go wrong there! Will definitely be going back! Highly recommend

The food here is fine, but I’m not so sure about the integrity of the employees. I came in for lunch and ordered a slice of pizza and side salad and I gave a $ 1 tip. A few days later I look at my bank statement and see that I was charged over $ 15! I tried contacting the restaurant to determine the discrepancy, but was never called back or contacted by the manager. I’m assuming the tip amount was wrongly entered, but it doesn’t appear that they are going to do anything about it. The food isn’t bad, but be extra cautious and save your receipts so the same thing doesn’t happen to you.

Ordered delivery on Halloween and got my food fast! Only down side was that the pizza was burnt, when I called back to see what they could do for me I talked to a great employee, JD, who offered a discount. The next time I came in the same employee helped me and definitely made up for the first burnt pie. THEN I got a hand written letter and coupon sent to my house for a free pizza! The best customer service experience I’ve ever had working in the industry for years! Will keep coming back for sure.

I don’t do reviews very often but this schmizza rocks. I’m new to the area and was so happy to find such a friendly welcoming bar and restaurant. All the employees are extremely friendly and the food is awesome. They also have a nice little bar that’s a great spot to hang out at on a Friday or Saturday night. I’ll be a regular here!

One of the best pizza places I’ve ever been to. Full bar, great prices, nice staff, pretty clean. When we came in we got a free scratch card(ever card is a winner) too which was pretty cool. The decorations are also rad. 10⁄10

First of all, the owner was amazing!!! Friendly, genuine attentive and caring for his business. I had a couple of drinks, I had pasta, wings everything was fantastic. However, I went the other day and this very rude girl was in the counter. I’m from NY and back in BK we say. «Lemme get a slice» and when we say that we mean, a slice of cheese pizza. She could’ve been a little more polite and say if I meant a cheese pizza. But she was mean and rude about it. Now, every time I see her I’m embarrassed of walking in there. So, you may ask«then why 5 stars?» I had an amazing experience the first time there. I can’t let an employee ruin the reputation of the entire business. Keep it up.(Belt rings)

I ordered through the Unilocal app which was fairly user friendly. The food took 50 minutes despite being 10 minutes away. I ordered a pop I didn’t get. Once I was billed I see they took it off. I would have had my husband pick up some pop if I had known. We didn’t get the onions on the side or pineapple we paid for. The only star was a nice delivery person. Oh, the pizza was soggy and my husband didn’t like the sticks with cheese.

Pizza Schmizza locations are all around town so they’re convenient for a quick slice of pizza wherever I happen to be. Today, I went to their place on SE82nd. The friendly man at the counter informed me that, since it was between 2:30 and 5:00, it was their Happy Hour and I could have any two slices for $ 5.00. Well, I wasn’t really hungry enough for two slices, but I just couldn’t resist a good deal.(After all, I try to adapt to any situation.. .especially eating excessively.) So, I got a slice of «Genoa»(which is their version of a «combo») and a slice of «Don Ho»(Canadian bacon and pineapple). Both were tasty and satisfying as usual. I like Pizza Schmizza because their selection of slices just happens to coincide with what I like, and the Genoa seems to always be available. I also like thin crust and theirs is suitably thin. Overall, they are a consistent and reliable place.

Unfortunately due to an inexcusably poor experience with the food and the service I have had to revoke my patronage. One evening my partner and I stopped for a slice of pizza and a beer before a movie, and to my disgust I bit into a beetle. Realizing only after the fact as my mouth was filled with a dreadful sour taste and I pulled bits of shell out of my mouth. We very calmly informed the employee at the counter what had happened and without much expression she casually refunded us for the single slice and that was that.

I wish I could give this 5 stars because the pizza was awesome! Seriously, so good!!! But the main reason it did not get 5 stars from me was the delivery. And this is where it gets interesting. I am 98% convinced that the girl who took my order also delivered my pizza. One indication is that the girl that took my order said she would bring it right over in 35 min., or so. Here’s why that matters, when the girl came to my door with my order and saw that I only had $ 20’s she got this sheepish look on her face. She proceeded to tell me that she did not know she was supposed to bring change and that she didn’t have it; the hesitation in her voice was painful.(The reason this was so painful was because the girl who took my order specifically asked if she needed to bring change and in what increments.) She then very insincerely offered to go get change, to which I said okay and that I would wait. But she hesitated again, wavering at the door she said, ‘unlesss…’ obviously giving me time to say, oh, don’t worry about it. Instead I asked her how much she had. I told her I was going to give a $ 7 tip and asked if she had a $ 10, she only had $ 8. I had half a mind to make her go get the change but since it was only a few more dollars and I didn’t want to make her go, I just let her have it. I felt manipulated and preyed upon. I’d rather someone say, ‘Hey, I’m hard up for cash and a bit greedy, can I have a big tip?’ I would of most likely rewarded her honesty with the full amount of change. I mentioned that I was only 98% convinced. Reason being, I do not know for sure. She could been acting sheepish because she just didn’t want to go and get change and she felt awkward because the only alternative was to ask for a bigger tip. Either way, if it had been me I would of excused myself and gone and gotten the change the moment I realized. I would of returned with their full amount and left it up to them to reward my correcting of the situation and the delivery of their food. The only other issue was the price, one medium and one large for $ 43. I’ll pay it because the pizza was that good, but it will be an every once in awhile place.

I ordered from this place because of so many positive reviews. I thought ok, I’ll get a decent pizza. I wasn’t expecting anything fancy or gourmet. Just a gold ol’ reliable slice of tasty cheese pizza. I’m not a pizza snob nor am I a transplant from Italy or Chicago or New York or Boston in search of a replica of my hometown pizza. I’m just looking for a decent slice, better than I’d find at a carnival. I was really disappointed. The sauce was light, but it had a very strange aftertaste. Cheese was greesy. Crust was very chewy and had a weird flavor too. Overall it just wasn’t good. At all. I took one bite and didn’t take another and I was HUNGRY. I ordered Thai peanut wings too. I ate those because they were a little less terrible. The chicken didn’t seem too fresh, but it was just fresh enough I figured I wouldn’t get sick– like I said I was HUNGRY! I give them 5 starts for fast and friendly service though. Normally I give a place that has decent reviews a second try if my expectations don’t quite match the reviews I read on Unilocal.Everyone can have an off day right? I won’t be doing that this time, I’m just too turned off by the flavor.

I wanted to give a special review to this Pizza place. I have never been there personally, but I am very impressed by their service. My wife wanted to surprise one of her best friends with a pizza dinner for her birthday. We live down in SoCal and had no idea who to call. She went to Unilocal and started calling different pizza places. A lot of them wouldn’t deliver. Pizza Schmizza not only came through, but also went the extra mile. They made a handwritten birthday card(crayons/markers and all) and posted it on the pizza box. Thank you Pizza Schmizza!

I have a theory about this place Every time I go there, I’m served by what looks like underage hooters workers, so I’m wondering if that’s what they are training for? Maybe the owner has a thing for girls like that? It’s weird, and that does not impress me. My crappy little pizza was 4 times the price of the last pizza I bought somewhere else, it’s a total rip off The food there is bland and trying to be all hip, but it’s overpriced crap, and these girls don’t seem to know what they’re doing It’s dry, overlooked and they seem to be confused about what buffalo wings are Yeah, they can be sweet, yet I’ve never seen that place very busy yet I have to wait longer than I expect or longer than what’s told me Why do people eat here? Oh, I know… Hot chicks! I’m giving them another star for gluten free options and positive attitudes

I gotta admidt I love aliens! I even have one tattooed on my arm. Pizza is also one of my weaknesses. So naturally I love this place! The pizza is always great; it’s thin crust that is thick on the ends and huge pepperonis! Some of it would resemble NY pizza if you aren’t a pizza snob. I’m not, I love it all! Service is always great! Come for the $ 5.00 lunch special; a slice and a beer!

Great pizza, great service! Pizza Schmizza is the go to place when we throw an office pizza party. Their pizzas and other items are always high quality and the price isn’t half bad. What sets them even higher above the competitors in the area is the service — they’re prompt, courtesy, and strive to take care of the client. All but one of our orders in the past have come without issue — the one order that did have an issue was rectified with a very customer-focused solution in minutes. Definitely recommend Pizza Schmizza!

Wasn’t the best, wasn’t the worst. Cheese and peperoni tasted great sauce was very light which is something I personally love. The crust was nice and crunchy and it was just a basic slice of pizza. I do think that 3.50 is a little much for just one slice though they are nice big slices. I was very confused as to if I was supposed to wait at the counter or if it would be brought out to me… so I just stood there. As it was my first time there I also was very unsure of what to do with my stuff afterwards… do I leave it at the table? Do I toss it? There wasn’t really any convenient places to toss them either other than a trash by the door. So I just one way out took care of it. Mediocre overall, would try again if I was in the area though I would not go out of my way for it. Also… really weird thing.. If you leave a tip. they ring a bell and cheer. totally was weird.
