This starbucks is a-ok. Waiting for a friend at the courthouse, I was searching for a place to perch. Ends up there’s one much closer but if I’d figured that out, I wouldn’t have had to walk so far in the driving rain. It’s much like every other starnucks you’ve been t0. With a longer than average line since it’s downtown and a cute café look. Of course the cuteness makes it hard to find a place to sit — but most folks were in and out. The bathroom was clean. The staff and customers were neither fabulous nor offensive. My dollup of yogurt with 12 blueberries and a little crispy stuff was quite deliscious and cost about $ 4.25. Yup… It’s starbucks.

I cant get over how many outlets they have. They have one for every seat except for the tall tables.

You can rely on Starbucks for consistency for sure. This is a smallish location, but offers enough seating, places to charge your computer, smartphone, etc… clean bathrooms and of course the coffee we’re there fore in the first place. This visit resulted in a caramel frappuchino, which I order without the whip cream, but always enjoy that little caramel drizzle on the top. This had been left off the drink, but when I asked, they took care of it. So overall, nice visit indeed.

I hate to just repeat what everyone else has said, but it’s totally true — the employees at this Starbucks are super friendly and pleasant! The line always moves quickly and is usually not very long in the first place. The baristas also take the time to be nice and ask you about your day. Also, they are dog friendly! I know of at least two people who have brought in their small, leashed dog while they ordered and waited for their drinks.

This is my «home» Starbucks — I am so fortunate to have the friendliest baristas right in my apartment building! The selection is standard, of course, but the lines are shorter than the other downtown locations, and the service is so much nicer. Love the Essex House Starbucks!

Five stars for Starbucks? What? Yes! Here’s why. This was the fastest and most cheerfully provided rush hour latte ever. These guys are amazing! I think I saw something like twenty customers successfully served during my brief six minute sojourn here this morning.

I ordered two carry out pots of coffee for a meeting this morning from another coffee shop. They shall remain nameless and blameless — but there was a mixup and they ended up giving my coffee order away to someone else. Suddenly I was in need of a lot of coffee in short order. This Starbucks was close to my meeting spot, so I decided to stop in and see what they could do. Heather, the manager, could not have been more helpful, gracious, accomodating, or quick. Thanks to her and her staff I had good coffee for a roomful of executives before the meeting started. And they managed to pull my order together even while servicing a steady stream of other patrons. I am so grateful! Thanks for the great service!

Conveniently located to my office, this is my morning break destination. I like that in just a few visits, they’ve remembered my drink, and after a few more visits, they remember my name. It’s very nice really. I always have a short whole milk latte so I don’t need any extra sugar. They sometimes make it extra hot for me upon request. It’s no trouble. I like that too. I’ve never taken the time to sip my Java there, but they have ample seating both inside and out. They recently remodeled this store, so the food displays and selections have improved. This is my morning stop!

Not all Starbucks are created equal. One good thing about this place is that it isn’t crowded. It is pretty small and can’t hold many people but does offer outside seating. The service here is fast but lacking. Not very friendly and not the best drinks. If your looking for actual food like a bagel or pastry, this location has the smallest selection.

Wow! Can you say«empty?» None-the-less, OK service(not typical Starbucks quality). Overfilled my coffee, but it was a short. First-time in. It’s a Starbucks, ehh.

This is the Starbucks where I had my downfall. I spent 32 years boycotting them and all they stood for. I was admittedly terrified of being yet another American Sheep addicted to their Venti-triple-distilled-cinnamon-syrup-added-half-caff-double-whip-soy-macchiato for, which is I’m sure a more expensive habit then heroin. But riddle me this: Where does ones principals go when faced with a job where you have to be at work at 6am? And have the bus deposit yourself right in front of Starbuck’s welcoming warming glow? And in a neighborhood frighteningly void of any independent coffee house, the likes of which would probably not be open at the completely unreasonable time of 5:45 am? Yeah, I caved. But to be not entirely hypocritical to myself, I stick to a cuppa Joe for under $ 2.00, and I will never go into any other Starbuck’s on Earth. Ever. Oh yeah, I’m supposed to write a review. It is warm. It is fast. The workers are amazing, and nice, and efficient. They put crack in the coffee. It is good. There is a reason this ish is so popular.

It’s a small starbucks, but clean and has a good amount of outside seating. They could use some help with their flow of traffic and a little larger spot for getting drinks. Other then that, not too bad.

Standard Starbucks: small-ish, reasonably clean, soothing muzak, etc. This locations is pretty convenient to all the bus stops on Jefferson, and is even open on weekends(unlike another nearby location). The pleasant and polite employees were even willing to, as an experiment, make my iced chai latte with cream instead of milk.(It was delicious, but a little unpleasantly heavy.)
