Late at night, 10pm waiting for the red eye flight. TG Starbucks was open in an airport that closes down at a time children are heading to bed. For the rest of us its nice to have somewhere to turn for a decent beverage. Got a cool Hibiscus refresher — which was much needed for my parched palate! Server was friendly, drink was promptly ready. No complaints here that s for certain!

Usually Starbucks is associated with great experience and nice customer service. Hence the price premium you pay for the coffee. Based on this premise, I dont understand how they can have as a cashier someone who obviously hates her job. Her name is Graciela. Look for her and order a caramel crappuccino, no fat, extra foam, whipped cream, caramel, more cream, caramel, more cream, caramel and mocha and room for some cinnamon. Awesome, now the line is long… cancel the f##@&*g order and leave to take your flight.

This is in a good location but I went in before 6 a.m. Two people were cashiers and they handled the line well. One employee seemed to keep up on food. One employee was totally overwhelmed handling all drink orders except drip coffee. The wait was long for the cashiers but was extreme for the iced tea. Presumably the crowd is about the same every day since the same early flights are scheduled. Additional staff might help. Sadly, after a long wait the iced tea was undrinkable and was thrown away.

This place is dirty! I put my bag down on a chair and it was sticky! My coffee cup stuck to the table! And not just one table, ALL three of them were sticky.
One had old food on it. I was there 30mins and nobody cleaned it up.
I love Starbucks but you should avoid this one!

I think this is one of the slower if not slowest Starbucks in existence. I agree with other reviews that they’re not maximizing efficiency with employees. There were 5 people working at the time and only 1 person taking orders.

OMG! What is SO hard about adding hot water to a cup with a Chai TEAbag!!!
After waiting 10 minutes in line … I’m now sitting on a 3+ hour flight @ 6am when I take a sip of my $ 3+ drink & find out I have a truly disgustingly sweet Chai LATTE! REALLY!!!
We repeated the order twice for you — 1 PLAIN coffee & 1 Chai TEA w/​Splenda & soy milk. How tough is it to get THAT straight?
Do you REALLY think someone would add SPLENDA to an already cloyingly sweet Chai LATTE?!!
Tea …Latte. It doesn’t even SOUND similar
And people with diabetes have a devilishly tough time drinking liquid freaking SUGAR!!!
I’m pissed because not only did I waste my money on this cup of shit… I had to throw it out!

To the lady who gave me a second latte for free after the first one was knocked over — thank you for your kindness. In spite of it being 5:45am, packed, and at an airport you smiled like you meant it the first time, and remembered my name when I returned. Excellent service.

Don’t they know this is an airport and everyone is in a hurry? Slow line and inept poorly trained staff make this a standout among Starbucks.

There’s a 40 person line at 6am, but it seems to be moving quickly. There’s a location right inside security and one in the mid C gates. Don’t be fooled, the one at mid C gates has just as long of a line. Gotta get something in my belly before this flight though!

Good Starbucks location conveniently located steps from my gate for Alaska Airlines.
Something to note: Due to PDX policies, eateries are not allowed to charge more for their products than they would at a location outside of the airport. No pesky surcharges/​mark ups are allowed.
The line could definitely be faster — it was 10 people deep when I went on a Sunday morning. Only one barista was working a two-​register line. One girl was standing around waiting for someone to order a breakfast item (rarely). I think they could make better use of their baristas considering that its a high-​traffic location.

Great location in the Airport, because by the time I got to the Airport, checked a bag, got through security, a good solid latte is comforting. It was early, so it was an added benefit is that I could get some oatmeal before getting on a plane for 3 ½ hours.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The service was normal enough. The coffee was what you expect from Starbucks. They’re considered a licensed location, so you are unable to use your free reward drink as a Gold Member, which was disappointing — though I know that the employees are unable to control that policy.

Being in the airport they didn’t have a huge array of selections of pastries, therefore, just got a sugar free caramel latte. The lady at the til was super sweet and joked with me considering that I was half asleep surviving on 4 hours of sleep. They actually spelt my name right on the cup which a huge shocker. Rarely does that happen.
