Look it’s a Starbucks, so you know what you’re getting and what to expect, but here’s why you should go to this one: — you’re a lobbyist: Gov. Kitzhaber hangs out here, so if you’re wanting to pitch your issue, hang out and wait. — you work downtown(and you want a quick caffeine fix): they’re fast, efficient, and friendly at this particular location. — you’re cold: the outdoor overhang is heated and I mean toasty warm. So if you’re waiting for a bus or ‘housing-challenged’, go here and warm up.

I used to frequent(multiple times a week) this Starbucks location, as it’s very near where I work. However after a NUMBER of experiences with surly staff, messed-up orders and being charged for items I didn’t order(not to mention that they kept correcting my pronunciation of my OWNNAME), I now walk an extra three blocks to go to a different Starbucks location if I find myself in the mood for a Starbucks product. I wish there was a good local coffee shop nearby, but I haven’t found a good one in the neighborhood. Until one appears, I’m still avoiding this Starbucks location in favor of a different one.

I asked for change for my 20 dollar bill. I bye stuff from these guys everyday and they said I had to make a purchase of 5 in order for them to give me change. I told them I bought a 5 dollar drink this morning does that count and they said no. So this starbucks is dead to me! they make so much money as a corperation and they are to lazy to open there till and give me change for a 20 instead they need more money… that’s BS

I love me some Starbucks, but in particular, I love THIS Starbucks. I work at the World Trade Center, so I visit this store location several times a week for my caffeine fix. It’s got all the standard fixings of any other Starbucks, but what makes this store better than many are the baristas. They are always incredibly friendly and efficient, and I’m constantly impressed by how many orders they have memorized for their regular customers. The store recently did a remodel, and in the past couple of weeks, they have added some nice, colorful photography to the previously bare walls. If you happen to be downtown near the World Trade Center and you need some coffee, I definitely recommend this particular Starbucks.

A perfectly acceptable Starbucks, though the stairs are non-handicapped friendly(they have a little lift, but for 3 steps it seems a bit much). Not enough comfortable seating. Good service.

This is probably the single most consistent Starbucks that I’ve ever visited — 3 times a day for a year plus. Staff is super friendly, place is always clean. You may need fight for seats with the homeless folks who wait for the bus, and some hours can get pretty busy due to World Trade Center folks meeting here, but c’est la vie. Make sure the staff get your name if you plan on becoming a regular, and marvel at the number of customers that have gold cards and use their smartphones to charge them.

This is as good as it gets for a Starbucks. Great service. I really like all of the people that work there. They are quick, friendly, and make some good coffee.

I don’t usually like Starbucks coffee, but I like this one just because they have tables and chairs for people to sit outside. My bus stop is right in front of this place, so I usually use their chairs while I’m waiting for the #15 to come by and pick me up. I bought gift card and after coffee gum at this location and the guy behind the counter was extremely helpful and nice. So even though, I don’t fancy their coffee, I fancy their hospitality. :)

I have this problem that I really, really, really like wild sweet orange tea & Starbucks seems to be the only place that routinely stocks it. So therefore when I need my fix I’m forced to whore my wallet out to the mega-corporation-of-doom. But now that doesn’t seem so bad, because I’ve discovered the World Trade Center store. This is the most genuinely friendly Starbucks I’ve ever been to. No canned cheer here– the staff is damn funny… …and fast. Even when I walked in and was the 10th person back I was still out of there within 10 minutes. That’s unheard of at 8.00 am. Good job team! So if you find yourself in the company of out of town ‘Starbucks is the epitome of coffee how could you think otherwise’ guests — give this one a go.
