This Starbucks is an above average one. There is a general pleasantry to being so close to Director Park and the Park Blocks. It is tidy at this location and the options are plentiful.
Last time, I just went for a San Pellegrino. In appraising Starbucks, they certainly meet the merits of one important test that I yield you, the test of having noticable power outlets. Seating is plentiful, though there are locations in this city where it is still further more plentiful.
Simply, this shows the coffee chain in a flattering light.

Finally! I found a Starbucks in Portland that makes my ice coffee the way i like it! Staff was very friendly and made my drink the way I wanted. Totally coming back to this Starbucks.

It amazes me how a person can remember what I order each week when I have only been in the store 2xs before. Wyatt is a rockstar! He is friendly personable and has a great grin. He seems to remember everyone’s drink order too! I like this Starbucks the best! I will have to continue to frequent it after my stint downtown is over! Thanks Wyatt for being so on it!

This is my favorite Starbucks in downtown Portland. What sets it apart is the exceptional service and attention. The baristas seem genuinely interested in making suggestions for coffee. I love it because they have a Clover machine, so I get to try all of the reserve coffees that seem to come in frequently. They always seem so knowledgeable about the coffees and their recommendations are almost always in line with my tastes.
The café is always clean at this location, and there is plenty of seating throughout. Also, in the warmer months, the outdoor seating is a great place to relax and watch the Portland «flavor.» It’s like coffee and a show!

I am usually here on Tuesday evenings due to appointments.
The baristas always seem to be very quick and my drinks always have a steady quality that I appreciate. I don’t believe I have ever had bad service in the 3+ years I have been going there.
Its location next to Director Park is quite nice and the area is surrounded by a large variety of food choices within a short walking distance so it seems like its the perfect location after a meal.

EXCELLENT baristas. Super friendly and helpful. Space was laid out weird and the tables seem low. Then again, I am tall.
Boxes were were out and obscuring some decorations.
Convenient location.
No large comfy chairs — more of a business-y Starbucks, which isn’t really my thing.

TIME&PLACE: Thursday early morning
Your typical Starbucks, but definitely more good than bad.
Bananas and pastries galore — I was so curious about the Portland Coffee Cake (we obviously don’t have that in LA) but I restrained myself.

*Long line, but they move quickly (and are friendly, to boot)

It’s pretty much like any other starbucks, but their customer service is here is top notch. I really like the view of downtown portland from inside. Kudos to the friendly and helpful staff.

In the heart of downtown Portland. Not too crowded or noisy. Metered parking isn’t too difficult to get. Friendly service. Comfortable.

The Starbucks fare is much the same everywhere, so the difference, to me, is only in the service. This is my favorite SB in the downtown area because most of the baristas are very nice and friendly. They’re usually very accommodating with warming sandwiches and whatnot. Also, it’s usually not as crowded as the one on Pioneer Square.
Their sitting area with small round tables is also nice. Since it’s on the small side, it’s not too noisy. The few tables outside are pleasant during summer. Two restrooms available (ask a barista for the code, it changes periodically). Wifi is free.
