Worst experience of my life. I was practically attacked by an employee. Tried to use the bathroom before I order my coffee and his leg stop the door. He threatened that I may not use the bathroom until i ordered. Really! 20 years a customer and that’s how I’m treated. He threatened to call the police if I use the bathroom. Incredible. Period. He was almost physical with me. Never complain to the manager in my life. This was the first time. Unbelievable. Can I say that again. Unbelievable.

What a great Starbucks. most all of the people that work here are nice. the one employee that is most amazing is Eric! He is very kind and attentive and took the time to learn our drinks at our names the first two times we were there. its people like Eric that keep us coming back! good job thank you Eric ! PS: We were visiting from out of state and they made us feel right at home.

Great people here. All staff are very friendly and helpful. The service is fast and the place is very well kept. There is lots of outdoor seating for nice days but indoor space is somewhat limited.

I had my name on my coffee, but they didn’t call it. They put it over the table and u gotta figure it out. Terrible service!

I’ve been coming here quite often to make use of their free wi-fi and get some work done. Great place to people watch both from inside and outside sitting at one of the many tables they have. Service is always top notch and everyone looks happy to be working there. Drinks are always on point.

I always come at the same time each day and am greeted with great customer service and dependable clover press French roast! I like all the staff I see here on the morning shift, but Ruby shines. She is helpful to customers, notices details, makes authentic compliments.

This is my favorite Starbucks around. And in the Pearl District, that is saying something. Everyone who works here is thoughtful and professional. The store manager is always eager to help with any problem. The bathrooms are well maintained, and for a coffee shop that is saying something. They okay good music and all the staff here are happy to chat with you, and really take the time to get to know you.

STARBUCKSATTHESTREETCARCROSSROADS Plop down & sip a brew outside in a easy chair under a big umbrella. Feel the warm sun and gentle breeze across your brow, in view of the GOBYSTREETCAR, large, neon sign hanging on the Streetcar Lofts building. At the crossroads LoveJoy &11th watch streetcars grinding rail criss-crossing throughout the Pearl to the Alphabet district, to downtown and across the Willamette River via Broadway bridge on the way to OMSI. Get your ticket! Buzz on down! Go-By streetcar! See ya at the crossroads! Then, buzz the Pearl by foot!

I was not impressed with how friendly(or not friendly) the barista was. Mr. Mustachio man was efficient but he seems more interested in getting to the next person than making a connection with the customer in front of him. Besides that, it’s Starbucks with a clover machine. Doors open from the inside though, which makes me wonder, u would not want to be inside that particular building if they had an emergency. That’s on the dangerous side.

Now, I know Starbucks isn’t exactly world renowned coffee(especially when one considers the plethora of amazing locally roasted coffee available in portland) BUT I love this particular Starbucks, entirely because of the friendly and courteous staff who work here. Five stars for service and convenient location. If you’re in the neighborhood and need a caffeine fix, pop in — if nothing else, the baristas are really nice people.

Most pretentious Starbucks in Portland. Plus, they stop brewing the dark roast at 11am, then try to get you to pay extra to make it on the clover machine. I live one block away, but will never be stupid enough to come back here again. Epitomizes why the rest of Portland thinks the Pearl is full of pretentious a-holes.

Crappy coffee. But the view of the corner is nice for people watching and there is a great little nook with a table and chairs to do work. Nice patio for summer days too. Right off the streetcar line where the CL and the NS meet too, not too shabby. But anyways, this is a review about Starbucks. Do people even read reviews about Starbucks? Everyone has been to a Starbucks and they’re all the same? Yet I’m still typing… Hmmmm. This has to be the longest review of a Starbucks ever. And I haven’t really said anything about the store itself. Anyways. If you care very little about coffee but you like people watching, books, and convenience, this is the Starbucks for you. **not to be confused with the Starbucks across the street in the Safeway. Or the other one a few blocks in the other direction. Or the one near Powells. Actually, keep walking and go to the one across from Powell’s books. That one serves wine and beer. So you can go to a Starbucks and not even drink Starbucks coffee! Okay, this review has actually ended on a helpful note. Cheers!

This is my local. Ouchy seating for sure. Baristas are friendly. They have a Clover machine which means you don’t have to suffer through another Pike’s Place. So don’t. Come here for the coffee and stay for the charm. Or the yummy in a cup.

This Starbucks location is a hit and a miss. Sometimes I get great service and my order right, sometimes I don’t. It’s a pity because they are in a prime location.

3 stars for outdoor seating, and 2 stars for indoor seating. If you are interested in comfy coffee house style seats, there are few here. Service here is excellent as I am greeted regularly with friendly banter and a smile. The hours have recently swung to a more reasonable schedule being open until 10pm for the summer I believe. I enjoy coffee shops into the evening, allowing me to focus on grinding out some more work. Outdoor seating is really neat, and makes for good people watching if that is your thing. There are alternatives in the area if you are looking for a more comfy interior but again the service here is enough to keep me coming back.

Most of the time I hate Starbucks and they didn’t do much here to help change my mind. I’m a decaf drinker. Yeah, I know you coffee aficionados out there just cringe at the very thought but it is the way it is. Actually, if you’re genuinely a coffee hound/aficionado, you wouldn’t be hangin’ at Starbucks now, would you? It was 11:10am when I asked for a decaf, only to be told that there is no drip decaf after 11. «But, I can make you an Americano decaf.» I’m like, no thanks. I should just get my coffee fix before leaving the house and be happy with it.

Great location on the corner of Lovejoy and 11th. My mother lives one block over so when visting this is my Starbucks of choice. Service is on par with what I’ve come to expect at any Starbucks nationwide. This location does feature the Starbucks Reserve(Rare and Exotic) line of coffee which you don’t find at all locations. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Lovejoy is a busy thoroughfare and one block away from Jamison Square Park. Plenty of people watching available for those who enjoy that hobby.

LOCATIONLOCATION It would be an hour wait for our table at Piazza Italia, so I wandered around the corner into this dry, warm, most clean and library quiet Starbucks @ the corner of 11Th and Lovejoy in the Pearl District. Some of you may not know that Mr Lovejoy wanted to name this town after his hometown Boston, Massachusetts. I guess after a coin toss, Lovejoy lost out to another fella who was from Portland, Maine. Hmm, how does Boston, Oregon sound? I slowly drank and enjoyed the touching hot, craving sweet and lushly creamy Hazelnut Macchiato. For certain it made the hour wait that much less enduring.

This was a break from shopping. I ended up stopping here for my usual Passion Ice Tea. This place is actually the one I prefer when in the Pearl.
