Sunrise PDX Airport Shuttle

Had a reservation for an early morning pick-​up to the airport. This asshole never showed up. Called him 4 times. No answer. By the time I called another cab and got to PDX I had missed my flight. Highly DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Sunrise PDX Airport Shuttle= EPIC FAIL.
Never showed up, never answered the phone (tried 3 times– after mutliple emails confirming they would be there!), never called back, never apologized.
They failed to pick me up at 3:30 am for a flight out of PDX. I highly recommend NOT using this company, unless you want to deal with a fiasco.

Will NOT use again. Had 6 am flight. Scheduled pick up at 3:30. Spoke directly with driver the night before flight. Asked him to give a call in the morning when he was on his way so I could make sure I was set. Promised to call at 3:00 and be there at 3:30. Never called, didn’t show up. I called him and no answer. THANK GOD FOR UBER. Was 10 bucks cheaper and the guy was there in 5 minutes to save my ass. Save yourself the hassle and use UBER.

Made appointment and driver did not show up. Called Über and went for $ 20. Never received a response or apology.

100% SATISFIED! This was a great experience for me. Coco was quick to answer his phone, very professional, friendly, and on time to pick me up! The shuttle was extremely clean and pleasant to ride in as he was to talk to.

Was nice on the phone but never showed up to my house to go to the airport! Almost missed our flight to Europe. Don’t use this service.

My elderly mother had an airport pickup a few days ago, I had just had surgery and was unable to drive… the car was a no-​show, no call, no pickup… it pains me to write this as I had used Coco before but the one thing you can’t do in the car service business is not show up, and no apology either… there are plenty of more reliable services out there.

I’m writing a review before actually having used the service, just because the telephone experience was so amazing. I called to see if they had cabs with child car seats, and Coco, the owner, was one of the friendliest people I’d ever conducted business with by phone! He answered all my questions, was not rushed to get off the phone, quoted me a price (very reasonable!), and even described to me where the car would pick us up at the airport. I feel very assured and confident in this service, and it’s one fewer thing I have to worry about when traveling with a toddler!
I will update or write another review after actually getting the ride!

Holy moly! I should have read the reviews before booking. I saw that Sunrise PDX Airport Shuttle got about 4+ stars on average an went ahead and booked a shuttle for my parents They had an early morning flight and I have kids and work to deal with, so to make things easier (on me), I did a quick google search and booked a shuttle with Sunrise. I spoke with Koy (sp?) Saturday afternoon for a pick up this morning (2 days later). I didn’t think to call back the next day to confirm. So I go up at 4:30am to make sure my folks got up, we said our good-​byes and I went back to sleep thinking that in 45 minutes, they’d be on their way home.
At 5:55am my folks woke me up because they had been on the phone with (I assume Koy), who was already 40 minutes late. From what my father said, Koy told him that her husband took the reservation, but couldn’t come and didn’t give her the information about it. She was going to come but didn’t know where we were. They spoke a few times and she *finally* said she would use her GPS to find us. After my folks woke me up, flustered and worried about missing their flight, we got their things in my car and I drove them. Not the kind of thing I or they were expecting.
I was thinking they might call me today to apologize, but nope. Nothing.
So I do not recommend using this business.

Coco was supposed to be here 15 minutes ago. He confirmed last night and is a no show. I texted to confirm this morning and I haven’t heard anything. Do not recommend and will never use again.

I have used Sunrise a couple of times, and always had pretty solid experiences. This last time I, had a scheduled pickup in the evening and right at the time I was expecting to see Coco, he texted me to informe he would not be able to make it because he had lost his keys. I feel he may have stretched himself too thin with a store he recently opened up, removing the flexibility he used to have.
It’s one thing to have this happen, but a complete different scenario when it is stated very matter-​of-​factly — with no offered resolution. It all was very rude and unprofessional. I will not use his service again.

He was a no-​show! I called the evening before for an early morning pickup to the airport. The phone number listed on Unilocal was the driver’s cell phone, and when he picked up, he said he was driving, would be able to pick me up in the morning, and asked that I text him my request info. I did just that. Come 4:45am, no call, no show. I called to see if he would at least pick up … Nope.
I’m sure this happens to every driver now and then. But perhaps this company find a better way to manage incoming calls/​requests. I called radio can and they’re on their way asap. Let’s hope I make my flight…

No show. I called the evening before and specified time & address, asking for an estimate for a ride from North Portland to PDX Airport. Jorge called back with a price and confirmed time/​location. This morning I waited 15 minutes, then texted to double check. No response, so I decided to drive myself. It’s good that I left some buffer time!

Buyer beware! Coco confirmed my reservation a week in advance. He did not show up for my scheduled early A.M. pick up. I tried calling twice & also left a message, all were ignored. We called Radio Cab & managed to make our flight. USE ANOTHER SERVICE!!! Radio Cab saved our day!

Sent an online request for same day service but did not receive any response. For airport service, that’s a fatal flaw.

I called and sent text confirming our 5:15 pickup to the airport days in advance– the morning of our flight– he left us high and dry and did not answer any of our texts or phone calls. We would still be waiting outside for Sunrise to show and most definitely would have missed our flight if it weren’t for a local cab company that came and saved us.
We put our trust in Sunrise, they let us down, an enthusiastic thumbs down.

He did not show up! And will not answer any of my calls! Totally going to miss my flight! Fuck coco!

Shuttle services can be really hit or miss. In pleased to report SunrisePDX is a hit! I had to catch a 5:05a out of PDX on a Monday and had forgotten to make shuttle arrangements until Sunday evening at 8p. One call and done. Coco had great communication and competitive rates.
Definitely a fan.

Just got done riding with sunrise PDX and I was just thinking what a shame it is that this guy doesn’t have a full blown cab company in Portland (he does airport runs). He texted a confirmation to make sure he had the address correct, then he texted 30 minutes before pickup to say he was on the way, then one more when he arrived. And this ride was at 4 am, so it was really nice to have the assurance for such an early flight.
Also his cab was BIG, clean, didn’t smell funny, and had bottles of water! And on too of it he was a great guy to talk to.

Fantastic service. Honestly, really great, friendly service that you will not be able to duplicate in any other shuttle service.
I travel ever week. Literally 250,000 per year. I rely on Jorge (Coco) and Koiyan week-​in and week-​out for all of my trips to and from the airport. I know that they are going to show-​up — or call me with any changes due to traffic or challenges due to scheduling.
The courtesy, professionalism and care they put into their work is evidenced in the way that Jorge texts his customers to confirm a pick-​up; or in the bottles of water they make available in all of their vans.
There seems to be a misguided assumption that «door-​to-​door» shuttle vans are more expensive than metered cabs. This is truly a misnomer. Sunrise PDX Airport Shuttle is the most economical shuttle service (and one of the very best) around.
I trust Jorge and Koiyan week-​after-​week for pick-​ups and drop-​offs at all hours of the day and night. They really are the best!
