First appointment was today and she was amazing. I have a chiropractor phobia and Dr. Laura was amazing. She address my problems in minutes! I saw her an hour ago and I am already out of pain! I highly recommend her!

Dr. Laura is amazing. She is a true healer. I started seeing her when I was 3 months pregnant with my third child in 2013. I was suffering from headaches, neck pain, shoulder pain and back pain. I couldn’t take any anti inflammatory drugs while pregnant and I would tell Laura she was my Advil:). She genuinely cares about her patients and it shows. I’m so glad I found her!

Pretty good service but I wouldn’t make appointments in the evenings when staff are a bit tired & less tentative, I felt rushed in and rushed out a few times. Overall, I felt better after going.

Simply AMAZING! She made my neck and shoulder pain go away with a few sessions and some simple exercises. I had been to pain management and physical therapists before with no relief. I highly recommend Sunset Chiropractic!

I know its a long review but please read. For lack of better words Laura Swingen saved my life. Back in 2011 shortly after my 21^st birthday I was in a car accident and ever since I had been suffering from debilitating headaches and muscles that felt like rocks. I barely slept, I lost friends due to having no energy to do anything and I barely had enough energy to get through work. I had seen 4 doctors (2 of which were neurologists at OHSU), 3 physical therapists, 2 chiropractors, and several massages therapists and none knew how to stop my pain or what was causing it. I had been diagnosed with poor posture, migraines and worst of all Multiple sclerosis. I was put on every pain killer and muscle relaxer under the sun with no headache relief and an aching liver due to all the meds. I spent almost a year getting multiple MRI’s, spinal taps, and had multiple doctors talk to me like I was an idiot and tell me they didn’t know what to do. Every time I left in pain, in tears, and feeling more hopeless than before. Then one day through researching NUCCA I found Laura. She saw me within days and put me through the most extensive neurological exam I had ever had, all the while talking to me like a person and acknowledging all my pain and symptoms. I left that first visit with a reason for my pain, a way to make it go away and even better… No headache. NO HEADACHE PEOPLE! In the following two weeks I had 2 minor headaches that quickly went away with Advil and for the first time in years I lived with no pain. It’s like I’m alive again. I smile more, I do more and it’s all because of her. I’m not saying she will be able to cure every ailment but she will for damn sure try and if your lucky like me, finding Laura Swingen will save you too.

I’ve been suffering from sciatica on and off for about 2 years now. I’ve done varying treatments from regular doctors, and physical therapists. The last 8 months or so have been excruciatingly painful to stand, move or walk. All 3 of which are required for my job as well as life in general. (I know sob story). Anyway, figuring surgery was looking more inevitable, I came to Dr. Laura remembering she had helped my wife a few years ago. The 1^st week, I didn’t see much improvement, but could feel a degree less of pain. Now after about 6 weeks, there is clear improvement. I am walking better, the pain no longer makes me want to curl up and cry. Though my treatments aren’t over yet, I can see myself pain free in the future which I couldn’t 2 months ago.
Dr. Laura practices a few different styles of chiropractic care (I’m a big fan of Nucca) and can surely tailor a program to meet your needs. Though not everyone thinks chiropractic medicine is valid, all I’m saying is if you’re in pain and surgery is your next option maybe be think of giving Dr. Laura Swingen a try. Or do it before surgery is your last option. Her office and staff are friendly, accessible and has varied hours to help see patients. Appointments are recommended, but drop ins are ok if you don’t mind a wait. Try that with your regular Dr.
