I like this place. It’s close to home, cheap, and decent. Not my everyday first suggestion for quick tacos, but the people are friendly and the place is clean.

Yummy burritos. I had the carne asada burritto and it was authentic and delicious I will be back for more!

I ordered the«super nachos» I did order them without meat, but usually at restaurants I still get decent nachos. The cheese wasn’t melted, the guacamole seemed fake, and they charge 1.25 extra for pico de gallo. I won’t come back.

Two words: Carne Asada. Their carne asada burrito is a religious experience. Super delicious. Good price, great location for those in St. Johns, and quick service. Bonus for the good condiments, too. Highly recommended.

Been coming here since it opened when I was young. Drive over there quite a bit from Hillsboro to chow down on their shredded beef burritos and amazing soft tacos. I’ve been telling them for years to open one in Hillsboro. :)

Pretty good food. Wish the guacamole was real avocado though! Lots to pick from. Could be a bit cleaner though.

Good food usually love this place, but to me it seemed like I was a burden today. A simple smile or even a thank you goes a long way. Didn’t receive either during this visit. Was not greeted upon walking in, was not smiled at, and was not thanked after ordering my food, receiving my food, or placing a tip in the tip basket(even though a tip was not deserved). Will I come back? Not for a long time.

What a surprise! I was drawn in for lunch today while getting ready to walk home. The siren song of a wet chicken burrito was what set it all off. I mentioned in my original review this I what I wanted to try next. It was the right choice. For good or for bad, I made a piggy of myself and ate the whole thing, but it was just so damn good. You’re right — I have no discipline when faced with this excellent food. Real chicken diced up and mixed with beans, rolled in a burrito, covered with burrito sauce, and with sides of diced tomato, shredded lettuce, and sour cream. Like Scarlett said in Gone With The Wind, «tomorrow’s another day» for better behavior, and I swear I will be better then, but for now I’m nice and sleepy and full. I’ve added another star just for the sheer deliciousness of the wet chicken burrito and also the very cheerful service. The young man laughed at one of my jokes; should have tipped him big money.

Definitely been a favorite place of mine for years! I tend to go there for the tamales and burritos(yum.) if you’re looking for good tacos, this is the place to go. Moderately priced, delicious and very generous portions!

Good Mexican food served fast and caliente. You can make it as picante as you like! The Special Quesadilla is truly special and the burritos are generous in size and fresh in ingredients. The Steak Picado burrito is mostly beef and is truly delicious. We have been back several times and have never been disappointed.

I love this place. I go there about twice a week. I love there super nachos and multiples of their burritos. Oh, and their tacos. My wife is a big fan of their super nachos and tacos too. I make up my order on my phone and give it to them that way. We get good results on our orders by doing that, it’s the easiest way since I have short term memory loss. Love their food!

As someone who grew up around real Mexican food in Los Angeles, my taste buds couldn’t tell that the food here was made in Portland. The burritos here is pretty darn good and they’re considerably cheaper than what you’d expect. I go here on an almost weekly basis and can get a full meal with a drink for less than $ 10. The only downside I’d say is that the décor of the place needs to be updated quite a bit.

I bought my moving party lunch here, and for 8 people, lunch was $ 54.00, not too bad. I had the pork and chicken tamales. A little on the dry side, but very good. The fish taco and Asado taco were very good, at $ 2.20 each, a little on the high side, but bigger than normal. I really liked the fish, I will come back for that. Service was really quick and friendly. Lot of Jesus on the walls. I heard this is the place for breakfast burritos, so I will check that out next time.

This has been and continues to be a great place. Excellent food. Great selection. Huge portions. Cheap prices. Take out or eat there. You order at the counter and sit in the large informal dining room. This is Mexico in Oregon!

2 words: food poisoning. This place was always a favorite in my family… it had gone totally downhill. Try King Burrito! They will not disappoint or give you the s$&@s!

I usually order a breakfast burrito, no meat, add veggies(no mushrooms) and I love it. Their veggie burrito is also good and full of beans and steamed broccoli, etc. not just chopped iceburg lettuce and tomatoes like some other Mexican spots. I think it is a good bang for the buck. It’s always a generous size, fast and very hot(temperature wise). Someone else mentioned the strong cleaner they use — it is indeed very strong. I have ordered later in the evening towards closing when they started to mop the floors of the restaurant and I had to leave because it was that strong smelling. I am having a sensory moment remembering the smell right now as I write this. Upside is that I suppose it’s good to know the place is clean!

Not outstanding, but very very good. Medium/large portions of tasty food for low prices is exactly what I’m looking for in a restaurant and they definitely have that at Super Burrito. My mom was a teacher in the PPS School District in the Lombard area for 25 years and although she never ate at this restaurant, she was telling me about it many many years ago so I think they’ve been around forever. I never had a bad experience there… no, definitely not the nicest restaurant in town by any stretch but the food tastes good(eight out of ten) and it’s clean in there and they get it out to you fast… and for a low price. Long may Super Burrito run. Oh yeah, I tried a Horchata for the first time at this restaurant. I never really liked those very much though.

Haven’t been in a while, so I’ll spare you details. But I’ve always had a hearty and delicious meal here the few times I’ve been. Very bare bones restaurant-wise, I prefer to take my messy food home. But the nachos and burrittos are top notch and priced very resonably.

I know this spartan St Johns taqueria is on the radar for the locals(as evidenced by how many people may be in line for cheap burritos, esp. in the evening times), but I found their burritos to be just OK. I much more prefer King Burrito over near Kenton… more flavor, but may also contain more fat. But this place IS popular!!!
