I will often come here when I’m working from home. It is the hangout for the locals and you can always find good conversation. A lot of moms bring their kids. I don’t drink coffee so I cannot speak to their barista skills, but they do make a mean bagel & schmear.

Stumptown roasters espresso drinks Friday dinners with kebabs, burgers, salmon off the grill Breakfast burritos and sandwiches, both breakfast and lunch Ice cream Baked goodies Donuts Gifty things Comfy seating and newspapers Big table in back seats 8 for group coffee We have been coming for about 6 years now. Tazza has changed ownership several times. It remains a sweet spot in a largely residential neighborhood to grab a mocha and a treat. We had breakfast burritos and mochas today. They hit the spot, along with chocolate milk and a sprinkle donut for princess. Total about $ 19. Oh and Princess found a ring for $ 6. Happy campers.

Please note that Tazza Café is open until 8:30PM on Fridays. On Friday evenings Tazza Café offers the most wonderful dinner service. Owner Saeed Rad is a superb chef. Among Mr. Rad’s specialties are seafood stew, grilled hamburgers, beef kabobs, and chicken kabobs. Have always felt that Persians make the best kabobs. Saeed Rad is from Iran and his kabobs are to die for. With your kebab dinner comes basmati rice, vegetables, salad, and cucumber sauce. The kebabs as well as the hamburgers are grilled fresh right out on the Tazza Café gas grills. Dinner service at Tazza Café is like being invited over to a friend’s house for a barbecue. Delicious food, comfortable surroundings, lively conversation, and some warm fellowship.

Had a chai tea latte & kabob dinner. Great service and atmosphere. The food was as authentic as the Iranian owner. The cucumber yogurt dip is amazing. Meal could very easily be adapted to vegan or vegetarian standards. Will be coming back! Pastries are $ 1 after 3 pm + Stumptown all day.

Great little neighborhood café with good food and drinks. The owner is nice to talk with as are the women who work there too. Friendly, family-oriented and comfortable. They have outdoor seating and a water bowl outside for the 4-legged fur balls too… pretty cool.

The new owner has just bumped up the prices. I went there today and paid $ 3.25 a large«house coffee». Are they out of their minds? Last I was there before the holidays I believe it was under 2 bucks. Sorry I am not going there for my cup of coffee.

Great Stumptown coffee. This place has free WiFi and is a very cozy place to talk, study and do some work. They have a variety of food so you don’t have to drive anywhere if your hungry. They also have local made ice cream.

came here on a recent visit to the family. before i go further, my family does know the owners, but my opinion will be very unbiased. first of all, you HAVE to try the sliders. the owner got my brother to eat some and i couldn’t resist. he had me at, «in & out»… holy moly! as close as oregon can get to in & out… apparently the sliders are just for catering or special orders, but you can get a regular sized burger on their menu. which is better, b/c it’s bigger: D the sauce, the veggies, the burger and the meat. mm. mm… good! the interior is beautiful. spacious with lots of seating, rich jewel toned walls and LOTS of windows. there’s even a fake fireplace! books and toys to keep kids amused. clean bathrooms and friendly smiles as you enter. now, you’re probably thinking, «unbiased??? psh, whatever!» i do have one thing to pick on… being a baker, seems absurd to sell cookies and breads for so much. sorry frank! i’m keeping it real! i can’t say whether or not it was good, but the price brought me to a screeching halt. they brew stumptown! which is supposed to be one of the best beans in the northwest… i can’t wait to go back — hopefully i haven’t been blacklisted for my comment: D

This quaint little coffeehouse is just mere minutes away from my house, making it the ultimate stop for coffee in terms of convenience. They brew local Stumptown Coffee which is pretty darn yummy. I love their Iced Vanilla Lattes. My sister is a fan of their white chocolate mochas and their version of frozen frappacinos. They also have a nice variety of take-home dinners, pastries, desserts, and ice creams. Décor is interesting as it displays local art for sale including earrings and such crafts.
