Paintings, sculpture, glass art, metal wall art and all sorts of random artsy knick-​knacks. This was an unintentional stop on my tour of art galleries but it was a welcome one.
The Dapper Frog is right next door to Gallery 903, but they are also linked together. You can walk right through the gallery and into the Frog without going outside. They are also linked up with a home furnishings place as well.
The Dapper Frog is a higher end art store for pieces of work you’d put in your home or give as a gift to someone else. It’s not an everyday type of place. It is cool to browse though. The staff was courteous and didn’t really bother me or try to push anything on me, so that was good. Simply, the place is pretty darn expensive but some of the stuff is cool. Some of the glass work was very impressive. Glass fish. Go look.

The Dapper Frog is surprisingly one of the more accessible art stores, with lots of cool items and creative pieces. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly, and stopping in out of the cold weather and rain into the store was like taking a break in a modern gallery. My favorite pieces were the metal sculptures of sea life cast in clear glass. A video on how these were made was playing on a monitor in the store; the process looked incredibly difficult and time-​consuming (and justified the high price tags for these items!). The wide variety of artists’ styles and prices are a big plus for this store; from innovative handbags to candles to large paintings, I think almost anyone could find something they liked and could afford here.

Even nicer selection of the glass jelly fish and octopus than we just saw in
Newport! Nice clean store, with friendly service. Nice selection of
the frog mans work as well. Right next to my favorite place to eat too!

Excellent store!!! A fabulous selection of brilliant pieces from a variety of artists. Very knowledgable, friendly, and helpful staff. This store is a must visit if you enjoy creative works of art!

This store had an interesting mix of contemporary art (wall, sculpture & glass) along with assorted chotchkies and random metal figurines. An enjoyable way to browse and look for a little something to make your house more homey.
