Wasn’t sure whether to give this two or three stars. We ended up here for brunch because of the menu and amazing location(although we sat inside). The hostess was a combination of disinterested/confused while seating us and I could see plainly that there was some tension between some of the servers, which was weird.(To be fair, our waitress was quite pleasant when dealing with us). The food was good. I had Maine Benedict and really liked it. Others in my group enjoyed their meals as well. This is mainly why I chose the three star rating, because… the place was also really dirty! I guess we came in toward the end of the brunch rush but there was food left under our table(some type of fish judging by the smell), the wall next to us had splatters, and one of our friends returned from the(one) bathroom declaring that it was a disaster in there and we should probably just hold it if we had to go.

Visited the Farmer’s Table on Labor Day weekend. There are about ten tables inside, and the place was quiet at 830 at night. Lots of outdoor seating. Maybe the lack of customers has to do with the fact that the hostess was slow and not very welcoming. Onto the food: Mussels are good, and I highly recommend the polenta fries — which are heaven and salty. The pork loin was yummy, but the clear winner was the rib eye. The service was mediocre, the bathroom was disgusting, and the food was delicious. I probably will never visit the Farmer’s Table again, but may recommend it for a quick bite outside for a drink and polenta fries.
