Great game store. Friendly owner. On several occasions, I have been able to find items here that other, more prominent game stores did not have, or are constantly out of.

I’ve played games here a couple of times now, and I plan to come back repeatedly. Great shop, great staff, and NO cover or fee to play(but come on, buy a drink or snack!) Location isn’t super easy to park near, but it’s close to I-5.

I love this game store! The staff is extremely helpful and friendly and they have a great selection. I love smaller game stores where the staff get to know their customers and take the time to build a rapport with them. I would say that this store attracts some really great customers too, I have found a role-playing group due to this store with some great guys, Everyone I have talked to be it staff or customer has been super nice. I love supporting small local game stores like this and I think I have found one to give my support and money to.

I want to love this place, I really do. However after some time attempting to get them to deal with a physically violent patron that carries weapons, they refused to do so. So given that they’ve taken the stance of being okay with their patrons feeling physically unsafe in their store, I have to give them one star. I’ll have to avoid this place until they’ve taken steps to make everyone feel safe and welcome.

This place is awesome! Great selection of games without being overwhelming, willing to order things that aren’t available in the shop, knowledgeable on the games they do carry, and they have a lot that are available for demo so you can try it before you buy it! They also have a great selection of beer/cider and snacks(but it doesn’t hurt that the Mexican place on the corner is really good and they let you bring in food). They hold regular events(mostly magic cards) and the guys that run the shop are fun and open to teaching. Highly recommend buying and playing here!

Great place for boardgame junkies. They’ve a good selection of games to play right there, for free. And an even bigger selection to buy from. Very helpful people. They’ve usually had good advice for us. Definitely coming back again.

Straight up, I love this place. I went there on a Friday night initially, checking out the local game stores. This was the second one I’d gone to that night. There were a bunch of people playing the Star Wars miniatures game, and while I don’t play, the clerk(Ryan) invited me to watch a game in progress. I was drinking a tap cider at the time(game stores with beer? Awesome!) I came back the next night, where they have an open board game night. This was incredibly cool. I brought a couple games of my own(Betrayal at House on the Hill and Cards Against Humanity), and got in on Smash Up that someone else had brought in. The store is clean, fun, with really cool people. This is a great place to hang out and get some gaming on. If you go there on a Saturday night, you’ll likely see me there.

I can’t remember the last time I was so excited about a store opening. This was really the last thing my neighborhood was missing. We have great bars, restaurants, and markets, but we didn’t have a good game store. No longer will I have to trek all the way to the SE to play some board games. The owners and employees are all so great here. They have so many events throughout the week for whatever you’re into. I’ve seen Magic drafts, DnD groups, and large scale war games. I go Saturday nights for the board game meet up and it is such a blast. They sell a good selection of drinks(alcoholic and non) and snacks. Back in my day it was just Mountain Dew and Cheetos, now there is Stumptown Cold Brew, Pop Chips, and much more. They also have several beers and a hard cider. If you’re feeling extra hungry, they have no issues with you bringing in outside food from any of the several surrounding restaurants. And of course, they have a wide, wide selection of board games and they also have demos for you to try out.

Newly opened game store– I’ve come a couple of times to participate in the open game nights they had. Loads of people come by to share in playing games they have brought, or play some of the demo games they have available. It’s really fun and a great way to meet new people. I’ve already been exposed to a few games I’ve never heard of before, but really enjoyed. Resistance, DixIt, Snake Oil, and a zombie survival game that I don’t remember the name of. When you first walk in you see the products to the left, counter in the center, and to the right there’s several tables set up with different games going on. People are pretty nice about inviting you to jump in, or coming in on the next game. But feel free to also ask too! Last Saturday was their grand opening and they had a raffle for Pabst prizes and different board and card games and Sizzle Pie hooked the store up with 10 pizzas, which was awesome. To play is free, free parking nearby in the neighborhoods, Owner and employees are all super friendly. They sell snacks and beer and there are some good restaurants nearby. Obviously, they also sell all sorts of games. I believe they also hold Magic the Gathering drafts.

The store is clean, welcoming, and has two restrooms! They offer some beer on tap and in bottles although it’s not a great selection. Anytime you can drink and play games, though, that’s a huge plus! I showed up for their dice and drinks game night on Saturday and was helped along by the staff to find a gaming group to join. I had a ton of fun playing, drinking, and snacking! I also inquired about magic the gathering and they do commander and drafts currently. They’re hoping to get a modern night started and a sealed event on Saturdays. As a new transplant to Portland in search of a new local game store, I was very impressed by my visit here. The people and atmosphere will definitely keep me coming back!

Great place to play, space for quite a few people. Healthy drink and snack options, tapped beer selection and BOARDGAMES!!! Right next to PCS Cascade campus, lots of good food options nearby. Was there playing on a Saturday night, our last game went long, but the staff insisted we stay past close to finish our game. Other stores will kick you out and slam the door at close on the dot. Here the employees seem to l sincerely enjoy what they offer. Selection of games for sale is small but hand picked to offer the best available. I expect the collection will grow once it’s been around longer. Great new option for North folks!
