I was new to Portland and trying to break into the market as a writer. I started working with Vanessa because I needed a coach, a teacher, a mentor and a big boost of confidence. Her advice and constructive input made me a better writer. What I learned from her I carry with me every day as a freelancer and at my current position at Xerox.
