I brought in some high end stuff including some ella moss blouses, coach sandals and a Kate Spade purse. None of it was resalable. I was told by the owner, it was not what they are looking for. So if you are looking for chicos stuff, the stay at home mom look of linen the likes of talbots and cache… this is the place for you! If you are looking for designer wear or finds — I’d go to What’s Upstairs in the NW. Frump.

I consigned several high end items that still had tags on them from Talbots and Ann Taylor. I made 4 $ off each item. I was extremely disappointed that clothing that had 59 $ price tags on them sold for 8 $ dollars. Then it was just expected that I would donate the rest of items. I felt very ripped off. I did consignment before with an eBay seller and made a fortune compared to this place. I will never go back.

The Silver Lining is one of my favorite consignment shops. I have only been in a few times when I am in the neighborhood but have found gems each time. Most recently I purchased a pair of black Paige jeans and a gorgeous DVF dress(retail around $ 500) for less than $ 100 total. At consignment stores I usually stick to purses, shoes, jeans, and designer and they have a good selection of all of those items here.

My new favorite consignment store. Great variety and brands. They pay you cash for your consignments. Great sales. Love it!

This is a consignment store and a really good one at that. Always a good selection of seasonal items and they are all upscale. No department store(or lesser known) name brands, but designer instead. Handbags, shoes and jewelry along with sunglasses and scarfs, it is all a fabulous way to get hardly worn clothes that would usually cost up to $ 100 for about $ 30 bucks if not less. Karen, the owner, does sales a couple times a year and that is when you can really get some amazing deals! She is there most days to look over clothes you want to have her sell for you. I’ve used this store to sell my clothes many times now and was very happy with the process. Checks were cut once a month on the 5th and the clothing you take in stays there for 3 months. Then you can chose to take the clothes back that don’t sell or donate them to their store. This is the only place I have found that you can take your designer clothes to and actually get a decent amount of money for them. This is consignment though, so it isn’t going to be close to the amount you originally paid for them, but considering the lower end consignment stores out there you are going to get a really good deal still. I’ll be back with my «fall» clothing!
