Very chic vintage design — mustard velvet comfortable sofas, lounge chairs, distressed wooden floors and window bar seating — amazing atmosphere ! Coffee amazing! Pastries, breakfast and lunch sandwiches top notch! Customer service Amazing! I am a regular. The owner Emily is amazing for creating this friendly coffee shop in the new hottest industrial part of Portland! I recommend this place!

Over priced and mediocre. I like the place for its notoriety in an LGBTQ friendly hot spot, but I’m really not happy with how expensive there drinks are. I’m looking for a new place.

The new owner Emily has gone thru a lot to make this place shine again. I love how she kept all the traditions like Open Mic and Saturday morning gatherings alive but put them in a different perspective. I love the unique coffee choices Triumph offers — made-in-house Lavender + Honey latte is amazing! Props to the staff who works here and put the good vibes out. The only suggestion for improvement would be having two people behind the counter in the mornings, so the wait isn’t that long.

The most expensive coffee shop I’ve ever been in. Both the bagels and the coffee I bought were the most I’ve paid out of maybe 100 plus coffee shops I’ve been to across the country. The batista tried putting my change in her tip jar instead of handing it to me even though I standing right there. Coffee was warm

Stoked to have a coffee shop that’s open late; 7 days a week too! Great ambience! Great for camping! Lots of space. My one complaint is that the drop coffee wasn’t quite up to par for Portland. But I’m still gonna go back! Also the barista was devoid of any pretense, which is a breath of fresh air.

Everything I want in a café: good coffee/tea, pastry selection, variety of seating with comfy couches, and perfect volume for background music. Happy to have finally found my go to café near The Circuit climbing gym!

The Germans have a term — Gemütlichkeit — which refers to homey comfort, good feeling, and friendliness. This is Triumph Coffee. The food and coffee are great, and reasonably priced. The light coming through the windows is beautiful, the staff are friendly without being in your face, and the art exhibits are always interesting. Triumph is welcoming to all. It is clean, clean, tidy, and welcoming, and the food is prepared with love and care. Triumph gets my recommendation as one of my top lunch and coffee places in Portland, hands down!

Simple little shop. Space is large, with a raised area in the bay window in the front that has counters along the window, and looks like it could double as a small stage. There’s some a couch and some chairs up front around a large, round coffee table. A large counter lines the left, and there’s a mix of tables in the back right. Nothing fancy, and mainly pragmatic choices. Feels very down to earth, with the furniture definitely seeming like something from 50 years ago, though very well maintained. I had actually walked over here from Portland Roasting’s tasting room, mainly since this was the closest coffee shop that came up that was open after 5. They’re actually open to nine, which along with the bar-height stuff in the bay window is a nice plus for me. Eclectic mix — there was a group of 3 guys on laptops sharing a 4 top in the back, clearly hacking away on something, a guy working on an Apple Studio Display while sitting on the couch(looked like he was working on some rack mount audio computer), and a few other folks scattered about. Neighborhood is a little sketchy, with a fair number of homeless encampments near by. In fact, right as I was leaving, a guy ran by and stole a purse from the two ladies sitting at the outside two top. This was at like 5:30 and definitely still light out. I didn’t even realize what was happening as I looked up from packing up my laptop, and was wondering what the commotion was. Fortunately, it looked like the purse was recovered, though I didn’t see the guy who I’d only see running away. .. I’m guessing this was more an outlier than the norm for the area… In any case, I’m glad to see a coffee shop that’s close to my place, with counters I can stand and work at, and late-ish hours — gives me an option besides Southeast Grind. ..

Incredible interior remodeling. Feels fresh and clean, though still maintaining the original charm and vibe of Three Friends. New menu is great! So yummy, so affordable! With the new face and new menu, you can really tell that someone cares about this place. Service can still be slow, but staff are a little more peppy and on task. I’ll take it! Also, you have some really cool new faces! But… if my sandwich order is forgotten or takes a half hour, I’ll probably be triggered into the darker part of my Three Friends experience. Keep going strong!

I am updating my review because I have discovered the tea selection and how great of a deal the tea is. A small pot of delicious tea is only 3 $. This place is great for studying and getting projects done. The ambiance, the art, and the service, are all great the only thing that needs to be improved and keeps me from giving it 5 stards is the 75 cent charge for non-dairy milk with coffee drinks. If that were lowered it would be 5 stars all the way.

Maybe I came on an off day, as it does happen to the best of them. But, I was extremely disappointed. I got an iced mocha that tasted like weak, watered down chocolate milk. The staff was friendly. The atmosphere is cool. I just expect more than extremely weak coffee drinks when paying $ 5.

I’d have given them 5 stars here if it weren’t for the odd jab at lactose intolerant /vegan folks on their main board. Which seems a strange choice in Portland — the vegan capital of the US. Instead of listing plant milks(e.g. soy, almond, hemp, rice) so we know what the options are, it has cows milk as the default and then says, «Fake milk: .75 extra.» Calling plant milk fake is not only factually inaccurate, it’s also insulting.(And also, .75 more for plant milk is off the charts; and it’s the same whether it’s 8 ounces or 20???) Other than that, nice space, friendly service — and they even list a couple vegan options separately, which is great.

Grate place like your living room with great food and coffee. Would be a great place to meet for larger group, nothing not to like.

This place is pretty darn awesome! I’m always a fan of places that feel a little bit like home to me, and I can certainly say Triumph makes me feel at home. As someone who has both celiac disease and mobility issues that isn’t always the easiest to find. Major props also for: — Awesome service. The woman at the counter was friendly, genuine, and knowledgeable. — Delicious, creative, and reasonably priced breakfast and lunch sandwiches — Gluten-free bagels for all breakfast/lunch sandwiches — Gluten-free pastry options — Delicious coffee — MAIN entrance is wheelchair accessible(tired of having to enter through service/back/delivery entrances) — Close to public transit, but also has available street parking, and is not too close to heavy commercial/busy streets — Relaxed and welcoming space with lots of seating, beautifully high ceilings, hardwood floors, and unique decorating. Definitely will be back very soon to hang out and sip some coffee here again!

Hooray! Our beloved coffee shop and home for Fabulous Faerie Coffee has risen from the ashes! Emily has done a great job updating and cleaning up the place, but it hasn’t lost its boho friendly vibe. Of course, the coffee and other drinks are awesome and made with great care. Duh. But those in the know go strait for the fresh pastries, sandwiches and bagels. They even toast my bagel until it’s burnt at the edges — exactly how I love it – and don’t give me any grief over this weird tendency. It can be chill and relaxed or CRAZY and LOUD, depending on the time of day and who’s there. Come on Saturday mornings to hang out with the Faes and those who love them. Or bring a book and wile away the better part of an afternoon.

Triumph Coffee is a real Blessing for this area on SE12th. Proof of that is to only to come any Saturday Morning/Afternoon and hang out. Portlanders of all odd names — stripes — colors and joy appear — a real Community. Emily the Owner and her Fab Staff have created — yes — manifested a Beautiful Space to enjoy great tasting Coffee and Pastries. They are gracious and generous. The Retro 60’s/70’s Olive/Gold/Burnt Orange décor is Classic. It is a wonderful new business and highly recommend your support. Stop By — Check it Out — any day of the week.

WOW Y’all. This is the first time I have been back in a while. Triumph is just that! Very Nice Job. You can really tell loving hands fixed that place up. Congrats! Really Lovely. The shop was full of our beautiful community. I had an Iced tea with a Lavender simple syrup so perfect on a hot day. My partner had a vegan peanut butter cookie(very nice job there) and Pain Au Chocolat(also a lovely confection) The staff were very happy and kind. Felt welcomed and wanted, I am really happy this gem is shining. So impressed with all your hard work! I will be back. Thank You.
