U Car Share

I have been a member for a year now and every experience I have had renting a car from them has been amazing. Unlike zipcar they do not require monthly payments or yearly membership fees. There is a onetime fee that is even cheaper than zipcar and you only pay when you need a car! Gas is paid for and the fee per hour is low. As long as you are not driving very long distances it is a great deal! Whenever I have had any small issues with the car I have been able to call them and get their help immediately. For example, today I had driven with a friend and after we had returned the car, she realized she left her purse inside. Since the reservation time I had paid for was over I could not get back in so we simply called and they unlocked the door in a matter of seconds. I would recommend them to with high regard. The only drawback is that unless you live in SW Portland near Lewis and Clark it is not as convenient as Zipcar.
