U.S. Bank

I stopped here on a Saturday to pull out some cash, but I couldn’t do it. There was a guy sitting in a car with the motor running, and another guy casing the ATM waiting for someone to approach it. One person pulled in and noticed the two and used the drive up ATM on the other side. I watched him leave as the loiterers watched me and waited for me to get out of my car. It creeped me out so I left.

Super nice staff. Clean entry. Short lines. Fast lines if somehow they are long. Easy access drive up/​walk up atm and drive up teller. I go here cause the others are queer… Like odd. Like b of a across the parking lot that treats people like crap. These folks are loads better. It’s like shaving with cream or no cream nice and easy at us bank ruff hard and apt to cut you at b of a.

after a great conversation and set up for my mom’s account, and paying her bills online? I am standing here months later, and nothing. its now late february, and I was there over thanksgiving. at that time? a debit was to arrive, so I could put my mom’s accounts onto it, and pay her bills. she’s quite old. Its now february, and here I am, helpless to pay any bill whatsoever, and now getting on a plane to come to the NW to pay her bills in person.
The debit was to arrive right after thanksgiving, which meant I could pay my moms bills starting christmas. NOTHING came, so I called after two weeks, and was actually snubbed as if I was never there. The woman wanted my mom’s social, not mine, when in fact, mine is on the account.
called again, and again, was told I couldn’t access her account. Seems as though when I get a female on the phone, I hit a wall. When I get men helping me? I get a yes maam, and nothing in the mail. or I get an application to get a credit card through your bank? WT?
I finally got someone to mail me the debit card, and rush it to me for a fee. but I cannot use it without a pin number. that should’ve been rushed to me as well, but its not here… at this point? I would bet money that it will arrive sometime after I get on a plane. nice charge for nothing.
This is a quality of life issue for my mother, and would’ve been a much simpler thing to deal with, had they sent me the debit card, last november, when my name was added to the account. Or been a little more willing to help me when I called and asked what was going on. My mom now? has a disconnected phone, and won’t answer the door, and I wouldn’t be surprized either, if all her bills are being disconnected, or thrown into collection.
yeah, yeah, yeah, names… my point isn’t to point fingers at one person, but rather the entire amount of people I’ve dealt with, who all played into keeping me from just wanting to pay my mothers bills. maybe you should have a policy to follow up in situations like this. power of attorney, and someone dying, and bills? are all very serious issues. seems like I am the one that has fallen through the cracks.
When asked for my mothers account numbers? well, lets just say thats something I wasn’t actually given, as I was assured that the debit was all I needed. if your going to rush a card, then you should rush the pin number too. telling me to activate the card at the nearest US bank, doesn’t work, as there are none where I live.
I cannot tell you how much frustration this entire debaucle has caused me. I have spoken to top and bottom, and it gets me no where. all because you just didn’t mail me the card in the first place. All because each individual I spoke with? didn’t ask me the right questions to begin with.
I thank god I personally stopped using banks, and went with credit unions. at least they follow up on situations like this. I’m sure I’ll be shopping and working out this situation, and direct deposits to another banking institution. I hope y’all read this and take the time to make this right for me. I really am just trying to do the right thing, and I know y’all are too, but there just is no excuse for the amount of grief you have caused me, and my mother, and stepfather, for your «less than helpful» response to a very serious situation.

I finally got a woman on the phone by the name of chantelle greg. she should be your bank president. she listened to my situation, and then activated my card. yes… it was that easy. thank you chantelle. she is the only person’s name I’m going to give on this review, because the rest that I spoke with? created a wall for me to climb over. See ya next tuesday when I arrive. pray that the person I encounter is chantelle. anyone else? I don’t know If I can hold my temper and disappointment. shameful.

No one really wants to give their bank 5 stars, that seems like brown nosing. I really am a fan of U.S. Bank and this branch in particular. The drive up tellers are always friendly and speedy in their dealings. I have done my banking with U.S. since 5^th grade when I opened my savings account. I babysat all summer long to save up $ 100 bucks which I promptly blew on a Smashing Pumpkins tape and boom box, but that’s another review all together, Damn you Tower Records!
