U.S World Class Taekwondo Rock Creek

I found this place on Groupon and love it! The instructor is amazing, he is great with kids, has no problem remembering kids names, its fun at the same time teaches discipline and respect.

Great environment for children. Master Marius is patient, kind, caring, as well stern. You can tell he loves what he does. He teaches from the heart and it really shows in his daily practices. He is dedicated instructor and role model for all children and adults who are willing to learn. According to my 8yo, he is «just like Bruce Lee».
We found this place thru a Groupon promotion last summer. We joined our 7yo with an intention to continue, if we like — and my 5yo, just for summer class without any plans to continue. After just a month, we could see how much they looked forward to the classes and enrolled them long term. Now almost a year later, we are very glad we did. Both the kids’ self confidence increased along with a sense of responsibility.
Though we moved a couple of months back and have another dojang in under 5min walk, our kids continue here as the academy is very much family oriented. Mr Marius is a very conscientious instructor and we have high regards and respect for him. The dojang won the Best School 2015 award in last month’s U.S. World Open Taekwondo tournament.

I was looking at getting my son into martial arts and visited various schools to find the right one. When I saw firsthand how Master Marius worked with students I knew I found the right school. The school itself is a classroom atmosphere and parents are welcome to watch. There is mutual respect between all the students, regardless of rank, and Master Marius’ instruction is well received by both students and parents alike. If you’ve thought about joining a discipline, stop in to this location and have a look.

I keep meaning to leave a review… My boys loved going here… I would recommend this location to anyone that lives near by… We moved and I’ve actually thought about going back to this location even if it’s a 20 – 30 minute commute… I can’t say enough about how wonderful Master Marious is! He’s patient with all the kids and you can tell he loves what he does…

Our girls continue to thrive training with Master Marius, and I’ve started training too. We recently went to tournament and had a great experience. Seeing many of the other Masters and Trainers in action, I can really see the difference Master Marius brings.
