I had a terrible experience at this «bank.» One of their customers wrote me a check and since I was in the neighborhood of their branch, I decided to stop in and cash the check, since it was drawn on their bank. The check was only for $ 550. The teller said that they could give me $ 200, but the remaining funds would have to be via a cashier’s check, which they said would cost me $ 5. Granted, this was after they called their customer on the phone and verified the check was indeed good and was indeed written to me. I told them I just wanted the cash and didn’t want to deal with another check. They then said they are a small bank and didn’t have that much cash available. $ 350? I don’t believe them. Anyway, the long and short of this is they hold people hostage, even when it’s one of their own customer’s checks, so they can collect the $ 5 fee. Utter crap. I will never go in there again and will NEVER accept a check drawn on their bank from anyone.
