I was in Portland for work and found myself with a free hour before a flight. I had been having some really bad shoulder/neck pain for a couple days so looked into massage. Vicki answered when I called, moved an apt around and called me right back to say come on in. Vicki honestly seems like she’d be hard not to like, and she suggested an Ashiatsu massage for what ailed me. I was a little skeptical about having someone rub me with their feet as I had been craving that deep tissue, dig your thumbs in release, but I’m open in general so gave it a shot. It was heaven. Truly hard to believe that feet could feel that good — the pressure was amazing because she really could put her weight behind things in a way you simply can’t with your arms. I’m giving 5 stars, but do note that if you are looking for tea and spa water, and a robe and slippers, this is not your jam. It’s a simple, one-woman show but if you want good massage, it was great.

Vicki Seabrook just added Reflexology to her repertoire and she does a great job! I’ve had a lot of reflexology over the years(in NY and CT) and Vicki is one of the best I’ve ever been to on either coast. Certainly the best I’ve been to in PDX! I highly recommend her for this and for her Yamuna work.

In addition to being an exceptional massage therapist who truly cares for your well being, Vicki is also a certified Yamuna Body Rolling & Yoga instructor. In simple words, she understand the body(anatomy) really well & applies her knowledge from diverse areas to bring holistic healing to her sessions. She is truly one of Portland’s best kept secrets. I highly recommend anyone looking for a great massage, yoga or Yamuna Body Rolling class to setup an appointment with her. You deserve it.

Vicki is a miracle worker. I’ve taken her body rolling classes(similar to rolling on a foam roller to stretch out muscles, but WAY deeper and MUCH more effective.) I’ve also had a few one-on-one body logic treatments(think massage +10). One session completely erased the neck and shoulder pain I sustained in a minor car accident. IMHO, she’s PDX’s best kept secret. I think the only reason she’s not impossible to schedule with is the lack of awareness of Yamuna/body rolling/body logic in PDX. The work originated in NY and I believe she is one of two instructors in town certified in the method. One note about the studio, Vicki is a one-woman shop, so don’t go expecting spa amenities or a waiting room etc.

I attend Vicki’s Body Rolling classes and they are unbelievably beneficial for body maintenance and for fixing injuries. The Yamuna practice she teaches involves using a variety of balls to stimulate, stretch, and release muscles and bones. Anyone who is tuned into their body will LOVE this practice. Much more than rolling around on the ground on balls, Yamuna is a guided artform. It’s almost like you are giving yourself the deepest massage of your life, yet it doesn’t really feel that way while you are doing it. Vicki is great: she is a gentle, skilled teacher and very personable. Her studio space is really lovely, too. You leave the whole experience feeling joyous and healthy.

Vicki is a true healer, very intuitive and passionate about her work. Prior to seeing her I didn’t know very much about Yamuna body rolling balls. I am amazed at how healing this technique can be. She also treated my face in which I noticed immediate results. I would highly recommend her for aromatherapy she is very knowledgable, has a really interesting palate and helped me create a signature scent. I will definitely be coming back.
