Our food was so good. I had a delicious spinach tortellini. The salads were also really good. I loved the atmosphere, décor, music and lighting. Good service too. My friends had the pizza which they said was really good.

Another very good neighborhood restaurant. I’ve been here many times and have never been disappointed. Unusual décor featuring antique Indian fans, no longer motorized. Street parking but usually easy to find a spot.

I was in this area with my sister, and we stumbled across this place while dropping off some folding table I had borrowed form a friend living nearby, I was pleased surprised by the great variety of the colorful menu, and since we were both very hungry, so we stayed and ordered few items, first I had the the Garlic Pancetta pizza, with the fontina cheese and pancetta, and garlic, fabulous, my sister had the spinach ravioli, which I sampled and it really tasted like some we had eaten while on vacation in Tuscany, then we ordered also(to share) one French Oregon blue cheese burger, with melted blue cheese, yummy, and also another pizza, the pesto sauce, with feta, artichokes, mushrooms, roasted garlic, sun-dried tomatoes and kalamata olives on top, which is supposed to be the chef Bonfiglio’s favorite. WOW was it good, the best vegetarian pizza I have ever eaten, It was a treat, the food all tasted fantastic, very tasty, a little rich, and lots of carbs, but it was worth it. Afterwards I realized they also have the Gluten Free pizza, wish I had known before ordering, but I will be back for sure to try that, and will brings friends and more family members. The service was very good too, maybe they were a little too busy and so we did have to wait about 20 min before we were served, because it was pretty crowded, but it was worth waiting

The Veg Lasagna was delicious the cheese and the ingredients felt very fresh. It would just melt in your mouth. Goat cheese pizza was good too. Located on Portland Heights, this restaurent is tucked in a warm and cozy neighbourhood. Parking isnt much of a problem either. I will come back when i crave italian again.

Their pizza and shakes are great. There’s practically nothing to eat around this area, so this is a staple.

Mediocre food, but we did have a great salad. Service was good enough but the building itself is beautiful.

yes, we lucked out during this trip. we ate a lot of good food. we just finished during the touristy stuff at the Rose garden and the Japanese garden in Washington Park. pulled out the handy Unilocal app. and saw a nice highly rated place pretty close by. kids had the personal pizza’s they really enjoyed them… I had the salmon burger. the food was all good… quaint local shop in a residential area. nice friendly staff, good service, good and tasty food. only drawback is the street parking. but if you’re a local, not something you really have to worry about.

The pasta was great here. And the pizza was good although we didn’t like how the fat settled in the center. Besides the food being good, the service I’d say wasn’t. We got seated by Sam and he was not the least bit«approachable» after we got our food, We were down a fork and asked him for one and I kid you not he rolled his eyes without commenting and came back and brought us the fork. It was supper odd. As if he just hated his job and did not want to be there.

We had a great first visit — food was absolutely delicious(though the pizza was a bit limp) and good service. We went back tonight and were disappointed though — they got our order wrong, never brought us our appetizer and in general it wasn’t a great experience. The food they did get right was very good, but an annoying experience overall.

Vista Springs is one of my favorite hidden spots in Portland. The pizza is renowned(try the Filippo or the Montrachet) and the service is great. They’re friendly, attentive, and make you feel like you’re part of the neighborhood. This is the perfect place to meet up with friends for a weeknight dinner and some brews.

Great location and décor, mediocre food Cesar and macaroni/pasta dishes aren’t bad but there’s way better food within a 7 minute drive down the hill. Ah and I used to cook here so I’ve had everything on the menu

I used to live in the SW hills and this was the only restaurant within walking distance, which was not a great thing for my fresh-out-of-college budget. The food is good, but not very vegan friendly. It was a great place for dates and drinks w friends though!

We picked this place last minute off Google Maps, and I am so glad that we did! What a great find! It’s quite the cozy spot and the staff is so nice. The chicken caesar salad was great and I loved the focaccia bread! We’ll be back soon!

Great little neighborhood restaurant. We came as a family of four and tried a few of their evening entrees. We had the meatloaf sandwich the Spaghetti and meatballs and also tried the Hawaiian pizza, all of it was delicious. The service was 5 stars. Definitely will return.

Vista Spring is one of my favorite neighborhood places. The service is friendly and fast. We’ve ventured there on many evening when cooking seems like a hustle. They offer a lot of great pasta options along with an extensive pizza menu. There’s even two sections; meats and vegetarian. It makes ordering a breeze. If you’re looking for a quiet, cozy evening with friends I can’t recommend Vista Spring enough. They have never disappointed us.

A neighborhood favorite which fed my husband and I for three days last winter during the ice/snow storm. My favorite is the Southwest Chx salad. They have decent pizzas and an excellent ruben sandwich with the perfect amount of sour kraut. Parking is never an issue and there is a swanky antique store attached if you want to blow a months rent on a new treasure.

The southwest chicken salad was amazing and large for the price. But most importantly is the amazing vintage shop it’s connected to. Go now to see how the other half shop for vintage china.

This is a great little neighborhood spot. My wife and live close by and we often stop here for dinner after work. Service is usually great and the food is good. Apparently the salads are solid here because that is all my wife will get. I’ve tried a lot of the food on the menu and it never disappoints. If you are looking to small local place, this is it just know it’s gets pretty crowded on the weekend nights and the wait can be pretty long.

This place is a staple for me. I have been going here since I was little and it has never disappointed! The food is always great! The pizza, milkshakes, and focaccia bread are all top notch. Great family atmosphere. Cozy and welcoming.
