I’m very pleased with my Laser orders from West Coast Sailing and will order from them again:
— Rooster Carbon tiller and extension: arrived quickly and well packaged
— Ordered the LaserPerformance OEM main sheet traveller block and it immediately broke from being slightly bent when you yank down the traveller. I would not recommend that part… it doesn’t stay at the ends of the traveller as well as the old one did, but that’s LaserPerformance’s issue not West Coast Sailing. West Coast Sailing promptly took care of me with great customer service.
I prefer SEA to Zhik, my Zhik ¾ length pants have the thread unravelling inside already. I highly recommend the Rooster tiller and extension.
I have talked to the guys at WCS on the phone and they’ve been helpful… they clearly know the Laser well. I also like their youtube videos. I will be ordering from them again.

Great group of people interested and dedicated to sailors! They have a good selection of Zhik gear, and also support our regattas. They communicate well and have good customer service.

Worst bunch of amateurs I ever dealt with.
None of my orders was ever complete but they take your money.
Customer service sucks.
They don’t even know what they shipped you.
They neve apologize for any mishap.
You send email, they never follow up.
You have to follow up.
They pull of the same sh** over and over on you.
I did the mistake to think their problems are random but it is systematic.
There is no quality in their work at all
I am done with them.
If you want to order stuff and have a chance getting it stay away from those amateurs.

I love West Coast Sailing! I own a Laser Standard (1990), and while I have always taken good care of it, parts tend to wear over time… West Coast Sailing quickly provided great replacement and upgrade parts at a competitive cost. I’ve ordered multiple times from these guys and never been disappointed…
I actually just put new lines and a couple upgrades on my Laser this morning and caught some great wind! Thanks guys, I’ll be back.
