What the Frock

I had a Eva Franco dress that I had purchased on my own that didn’t fit quite right in the straps and bust area. It had criss-​cross straps and pleated detailing across the bust, which seemed like a challenging fix to make it line up correctly.
Jacquelyn, who does the alterations was awesome. Not only was she super personable and welcoming, she did a fantastic job getting the dress to fit. I initially picked up the dress after my alterations, tried it on at home and thought it needed a few more tweaks to fit right. She made time to have me come in and try it on a few times until she got it to fit just right. I’m very excited to wear my dress now and it looks great.

I think every woman in the New England area needs to go to this consignment dress shop — the dresses and shoes are incredible! I had been shopping for 2 days for a dress for my sons wedding with no luck — I went in and Jacquelyn Pepice and Alison Lindkvist (the owners) were the absolute best, hands down. They picked out dresses that they said would work, and did they ever. I have never had a better shopping experience. The hardest part was deciding which one to keep. They do alterations right there and are SO helpful. I felt like it was my own private shop. I ended up with 3 gorgeous dresses, one for the wedding, one for the rehearsal dinner & one — just cause I love it! I should have bought the blue shoes, I guess another trip is in my immediate future, So the only question left is — what are you waiting for? Get over to – What the Frock?!
