Disappointing to see their book section is almost becoming obsolete — not many books on the shelves anymore. Used to have tons more books. Doesn’t seem like anyone is placing books out for sale.

This thrift store has a large selection of furniture compared to the local Goodwills, and it is always nice to support a local business rather than Big Thrift. I was looking for vases, glasses, and ceramicware, but they unfortunately didn’t have much of those. I’m sure that selection varies a lot based on what gets donated, but I was a bit disappointed with the fairly empty glassware shelves. I did score two nice, simple vases for just $ 4, though.

My go-​to pdx thrift store. Clothing is hit or miss, but once you find that special thing you’re looking for the prices are incredible affordable and the wear ‘n tear of previous ownership has never been out of hand. The best of this place is really the home stuff, though. I have stocked my kitchen with the most precious little gems from plates to bowls to mugs that I hope to have with me for a lifetime. The furniture selection is also worth taking a look through to find some great character pieces to bring some warmth into your home. And all for a good cause, of course. Will definitely continue to support them.

Wow the prices, especially for furniture are GREAT. Waaay better than Goodwill. I am moving here for college and I came out with a beautiful desk ($ 35), and a sweet leather swivel chair ($ 25).

Great fun to find the perfect soap dish, which is an old fashion sink with turn knobs! Also like to donate to WTH as they are a doing wonderful work in our community. Check it out regularly and donate back.

Been here a few times now. The prices are great. They have a good mix of clothes, furniture, household goods, books, etc. Excellent customer service.

Great range of really high quality clothing and assorted products. I bought a great Italian leather belt for $ 5 very impressed. Also the money you spend here goes to support the local community. I would suggest dropping in and have a look around you will be surprised what they have in stock

this is one of my favorites. despite the visit i always seem to stumble across something amazing. this place has been one of my luckier spots.
it’s a pretty standard setup but take the time to look through your size and you should find something that surprises you.

I always find something good here. Have found banana republic, j. crew, Levi’s, Columbia sportswear… Usually every item I buy is $ 5 or less. And they have a frequent shopper card so once you spend $ 200 total you get a $ 20 gift card. Love this place.

As my go-​to thrift shop, I’ve found great deals on clothing and small appliances over the years. I like that there is a lot of rotation of their merchandise, so I find new things every time.

This place is a very nice alternative to Goodwill and like all thrift stores, hit or miss. If you are a crafter, you should check out the crafting section… I’ve bought way too many crafty things here only to have them sitting on my bookshelf. This for sure is a community service place and you can feel it. Some of the clothes are overpriced, especially they shouldn’t be full priced if they are stained, ripped, etc. I bought my couch here and got a good deal. Most of the employees are pretty nice.

I work in the area so I stop by here often on my lunch break. Never again. Manager was extremely rude when I was trying to purchase a piece of furniture, employee actually laughed at me and made a snide comment regarding my question. Not the way you treat people.

I’ve definitely experienced better. This is a very Goodwill-​esque store, but there are better Goodwills than this. It felt almost uninviting. There were many signs up about things like, checking your bag before you come in, telling you that you need to have your own vehicle to pick up items, and to know what you’re getting because there are no refunds.
The furniture section was decent; a few really good items, but the prices on those good items were too high for a thrift store. We came in for furniture, so that’s what we noticed the most. Basically, check it out if you want, but don’t expect it to be amazing.

This is an amazing thrift store. The prices are great especially compared to the Goodwill stores. Great furniture selections-​but be prepared to move the furniture yourself because they won’t help you move it.

This thrift store has by far the best prices in town. They obviously get some quality donations, maybe because of their location in NW Portland. The women’s section is usually stocked with high quality name brands at reasonable prices. The quality is far better than the G-​will — no clothes covered with grease stains, holes, shrunken wool sweaters, etc.
The furniture section has a pretty good rotation, and they do pick ups around town so I think it changes over fairly frequently. I’ve seen everything from mid-​century modern dining sets to more beat up 70s oak furniture, so there’s a big price range. Something for everyone.
Lots of kitchen stuff, plant pots, small electronics, etc. Someone could easily furnish a whole small apartment here.

This place, to me, reads like a Goodwill, but someone has started sifting through all the crummy stuff. Most overpriced «vintage» spots are entirely sorted. This place… maybe a quarter to ½ sorted. There’s some rubbish, but also some great gems.
Things it’s got:
Long-​sleeved basics
Rad books (cookbooks, old medical books, some comics)
Quirky dining ware (found a discontinued Disney Club 33 mug and a cute boot mug)
Actually legit kitchen stuff (got a flour sifter for $ 1 and a long stock spoon for the same)
Furniture (!)
Things it doesn’t:
A great mens’ section
I wasn’t stoked on the accessories
If you’re in the mood to do some digging and get that thrill of finding something awesome, you can do it here at a reasonable price.

$ 5 for most t-​shirts doesn’t sound thrifty to me… I guess if you’re not a frequenter of thrift stores this could seem like a cool place. I did see some very nice, classic furniture there. Books also seemed a little overpriced ($ 4 each was the lowest I saw). Of course they had tag sales, i.e. 75% off all orange tags, for different days of the week, but the usual prices of things for the not-​so-​great selection didn’t impress me much. Maybe it’s because of the area of town this place is in???
I will not say this place is horrible because it’s not. I just expected it to be a little more worthwhile after all of the great reviews I read on Unilocal.The staff is friendly, the place is pretty organized for a secondhand store, and the women’s selection is considerably large, but this place just didn’t do it for me. I will continue my search for thrifty thrift stores in Portland.

Been to this thrift store a couple of times. Sometimes it can be hit-​and-​miss. But when I «HIT», I hit the jackpot! Seriously great women’s section… Men’s –eh, not so much. But I am NEVER looking for men’s stuff… SO that’s OK — right???
I got a BEAUTIFUL Donna Karan worsted wool skirt on the 75% off rack… Yeah, I paid a whole $ 2.25 for it! I spent $ 3 to have it dry-​cleaned and VIOLA… I have a brand new (to ME!!!) skirt that is the perfect shade of grey and goes with everything!!! YEAH! ME!
I am heading there again, tomorrow… Hoping to find some more lovely treasures… You guessed it — ALL FOR ME!!!
If you take the time to rummage thru the racks — sale or non-​sale, you can find some really nice things! The other dept. are pretty good, too!

Women’s clothing selection was awesome, mens was a little lacking but still good. Really low priced and well organized! Good atmosphere all around and friendly staff. Kind of a secretive little hidden shop. It’s not to over-​shopped. Will definitely shop here again.
